The fashion world makes people insecure about themselves. Even Doutzen Kroes! That is not normal. Humans don't come prettier than this. Love what you have.
It's interesting because I actually prefer the way you look now that in your early 20's . I think when you get a little older and better in your skin and FEEL better , you body/face looks like what's inside. much love Thank you for your videos!
Yep I also think I gain more fat easily on my face in my 20s but now in my 30s, not that much anymore Idk why and I think your face looks more mature I don't wanna boast but the beauty in 30s to 40s are the peak for woman there is aura within
I think doutzen's body is much better now than it was 10 years ago!! However, I do see that her face has changed. Her lips are thinner and her face is a bit harder looking but not by that much. She is still so gorgeous, like unbelievably so!!
The acupuncturist is rather mesmerising, wish I lived near him... A beautiful woman is always a beautiful woman, Doutzen you are stunning now and will be stunning at every age.
He is a walking lie.... What a load of non scientifical crap he puts into your head... This sick man who obviously earns a lot of money is trying to get a platform.
@@bloembloem01 Absolutely What a bullshit, the left side of your face dried out because lack of brain acitivity 😂 He makes Gwyneth Palthrow look like a beginner
I’m older than Doutzen and I love everything she said about aging. My hope is for the industry to move away from showcasing mostly 20 something girls as beautiful. Women over 35 shouldn’t have to feel alienated by those standards of beauty. It’s also a financially smart move for fashion and beauty brands! Women over 35 are the ones with the cash to actually buy what they’re advertising!
Amen! I think the incentives are definitely there, but very few high impact brands seem to dare bringing that change. Truthfully there are so many models out there that just become more defined and interesting to look at as they age.
We are the same age and I know your struggle girl. 35 and suddenly the face starts changing. But what I noticed is that women with Botox look older than they are. Is it just my opinion?
PosiTiva Yes you are right it also ruins the face. You look at someone's face and something does not look right. Keep eatting right, exercise, drink water and apply sun screen.
@@Paola-jf2qf I just turned 44 and my face didn't get 'worse' compared to 35. So it doesn't have to get much worse the next ten years. I use Dutch Nivea silky bodylotion (no advertisement, I use this from childhood and never stopped using this for my face and body, my mother used it too) , no daycreme and I feel it's partially the reason that my skin is still smooth and showing almost no wrinkles in my face. Only a little besides my eyes but I don't mind. My cheeks are still smooth My eyes became a bit smaller and yes maybe the lines along my mouth are a little more visible but not disturbing, just from smiling. I also feel fitness and good sleep keep your face / neck in shape and firm. Plus water indeed. I also do facial exercises sometimes 😊. Not to much make up like powder/foundation may also help to keep the skin fresh. Tanned dagcreme and mascara. I'm not an expert and maybe it doesn't effect your skin but I just don't like the idea of foundation covering my skin. It doesn't feel clean or nice to me. 35 is super young. You've only just begun 😉
I always thought that one of the down sides of being a model is that they take the aging process extra hard since their living is based on their appearance, but I never saw a model talk about it, just you Doutzen! It's kinda refreshing seeing you being so open about your insecurities. Nice video! 👍
It was also refreshing to see her research about why body reacts the way it does to ageing and then go the natural way to reverse it to an extent. Just warmed my heart!
I love that you mention your insecurities because alot of people don’t talk about aging. And I find that really hard dealing with my own insecurities and aging. We life in this “perfect” world where you only see “perfect” people. Instagram is full with woman who only show the outside, it’s full with beautiful faces and these perfect body’s. And it’s such a difficult time, because even if I don’t want to be that woman who compare herself I catch myself doing it anyway.. This was so different back in the days, when life was simple without instagram etc. I know it also has it benefits en it connect us but I wish there where more people who talks about this. That being said, thank you. Thank you for this and thank you for this video. It’s so pure & raw. And now I’m sooo interested in acupuncture.
I honestly love that you are getting older. You get a more defined face and more of a defined jawline. Less round indeed. But I actually love that. It makes you look less ''cute'' and more ''strong'' and ''sure of yourself'' in photo's. Hoping for more videos like this!
Embrace your aging Doutzen! My big sister died at 37 and I don’t get to see her turn 40. :( I am so sad I don’t get to see her in my 40s,50s,60s etc. Aging is a blessing. I think my face looks it’s best when I sleep well. I need my beauty rest or I can tell the difference ! So since she died (not even a year yet) my sleep has been horrible and I feel like her death aged me 5 years. She’s not coming back so I just pray I get my good sleep back at least.
Atouchofrosyclouds uh she didn’t. She wasn’t eating healthy, didn’t exercise, had a stroke at 52 that crashed the car she was driving. One of the most beautiful women in the world for sure.
I just love Doutzen's channel, but this video has my huge respect and feels special. Thank you for showing that aging is scary sometimes and it's ok not to want it. On the one hand, body positivism and the philosophy of self love and self acceptance are spreading more and more and that's great! But on the other hand, it's like the fresh air not to hear "plastic" speeches from "I love myself that's why I don't care about my appearance" to "I am who I am and I don't do anything with my face and body, I am 100% natural (but tons of Botox/surgeries are obvious)". Taking care of yourself is a big job and thanks to Doutzen for showing some tips in this field. P.S. Dutch language is so beautiful 😍
Doutzen, honestly, you look perfect. Thank you for being a role model and inspiration in the world, I appreciate your humanitarian work, but moreover the way you live your life. You stay authentic no matter what, and for that, kudos to you. Aging is a normal process, but what really shines always, as you said multiple times, is one's inner beauty. I have so much respect for you and also Monica Bellucci because you both stay true to yourselves and authentic as you could possibly be. I love how intelligent you are and also how you rationalize things very quickly. Thanks for being a leader, a mentor, an inspiration. Hope to meet you one day. Best, Adriana
I’m 42 and no lines at all on my face. I thank my mother. She taught me not to go in the sun as much as possible and to protect my face. About 2 months ago I had Botox for medical reasons. I love how it’s made my face look but I feel expressionless. Must try acupuncture. Thanks Doutzen !
The most beautiful older women I've seen were the ones fully accepting the passage of time, keeping a certain feminity but not the one of a 20 years old, rocking their grey hair, etc, such as Ines de la Fressange, Emma Thompson etc.....There is beauty at every age for the ones who are not fighting hopelessly against time and nature.
Doutzen, you're so real! You are so famous, popular, beautiful, rich, smart.... but still so down to earth. I admire that of you. Many famous people act as if they are better than others. You don't. I love you 😊
As an asian i want to say that you've done the right thing, momma. My mom and aunties also do acupuntures. And they don't even look a day over 30 when they actually are all above 50 years old. And it's not only for aging, it can also help with ur blood circulation, relieves chronical pains, and heals many more diseases
I’m currently practicing face yoga, it’s really helpful and makes a big difference. We are training all the other muscles in our body, but forget that we have them in our face as well and if the word ‘face yoga’ puts you off, then see it as a workout for your face and I find it very relaxing to do as well. Great to see that you are addressing this, because sooner or later we all going to experience it. Search ‘face yoga method’ she has many great short clips of how to practice it

This is a fabulous new time for older women. I’m loving seeing faces such as the utterly delightful and charming Linda Rodin, the strong and striking Charlotte Rampling or hey... Look at how fabulous Diane Keaton looks over 70! So many of us are bored of the usual face devoid of lines and character. This is why we’re seeing a big shift in magazines and street style photography which has focus on faces with characteristics that tell of a life lived. You will be among the great beauties as you age... Just you wait and see‼️❤️😍👍🏿
Dermarolling. That produces collagen in the skin. I haven’t done it but I’ve heard a lot of good about it. I am going to turn 39 this year. But everyone always acts surprised when I tell them my age.... which they guess is in my early to mid-twenties. It’s not genetics, because my siblings don’t get the same reactions. I’ve deduced it down to this: Don’t smoke, don’t drink alcohol, don’t do drugs, don’t party hard, stay out of the sun. Some people may consider that a boring life, but you reap the consequences of your choices. 🤷♀️ I have the occasional alcoholic beverage... maybe once every few months. I don’t drink to get drunk. I have maybe 2 drinks at most. I’ve never smoked or done drugs (because I was afraid that my addictive personality would consume them. So I never dared start. I knew I would become addicted if I tried them). The sun will age your skin like crazy. I haven’t had a tan in over a decade. And I was never one to sunbathe or go to tanning salons. And it’s not creams that made me look young. Up until 3 months ago, I used to wash my face with hand soap and used the cheapest Oil of Olay face cream. I only started switching it up with high priced beauty products/creams, because of periodical adult acne (hormonal, due to cycle). And they say that you should use them for anti-age prevention. 🤷♀️ the only thing I’ll swear by is Vitamin C serum (I use Jouviance). It heals your skin and calms acne breakouts overnight. It’s magical to me.
Ah Doutzen! You are so stunning! I was waiting for the before and after images after you received the acupuncture. There is so much negativity around aging in our society and it is seen as undesirable and demoralizing. But, there is beauty is aging as well. Of course all the beauty and fashion industries make money from making women beautiful. Anti-aging creams and companies make billions of dollars off of aging! Also, I have noticed that after having children our bodies tend to slow down and release hormones which can speed up the aging process as well. You are so beautiful and will age beautifully as well x just keep taking care of your body and mind and your spirit will reward you. Much love
I really get your point here! I'm "only" 30, but I start to see the first signs of age, which honestly hurts a little bit. But in general I don't think, erasing problem zones would help me with my insecurities. I guess, to accept what happens to your body is the better way to find back your confidence and be happy with it. I find it wonderfully refreshing to see a public person age the natural way! That helps me - personally - a lot. :-)
Hi Doutzen... its very understandable for someone in your line of work to be self conscious coz its your main of work. But recently aging is becoming more acceptable and more embrace in the fashion world. Big names like Paulina Porizkova is such a real inspiration. She embrace her lines on her face and post pictures without any retouch. She's glamorizing aging and its great. We age everyday and its life and its beautiful. You are not alone.. we always want to slow down the aging process. That's just human behavior. Anyway, thanks for bringing this educational video. I'm a huge fan of yours. ❤❤❤
It sucks that these pressures aren't enforced on men as much as women. Not saying that men should go through this either but it just shows what people go through.
@@heliaalves9062 they call women picky and they say that we have high standards but society has always had high standards for women and men feed into that loop and complain when they can't put in the effort to level themselves up.
With men is the other way around. Most of them look even more interesting to some women. The aging process is still a big deal for women. Out there should exist more support to help us age.
@@lookslikerenata Support to help women age? Pigs would fly before that would happen. Some men do get more attractive when they are older, but most of them age just as badly as many women do. Time is the biggest force in the universe, it will pass and pass until the old withers and dies and the new comes in. It's the law of life.
@@mariumriaz5 I couldn't have said it better. Women are definitely expected to live up to a standard absolutely not enforced on men. They can be old and ugly, there will always be a young woman willing to trade her beauty and her youth for a plate of food and a roof over her head. This happens because women don't make as much money as men do, thus leaving them vulnerable and dependent on men for their basic needs. If women had the same work opportunities and earned an equal amount of money, men would have to trade beauty for beauty and youth for youth, their money would be worthless when trying to find a romantic partner.
Acupuncture sounds fascinating! Doutzen have you ever worked with the makeup artist Lisa Eldridge? She has a wonderful youtube channel and a collaboration video with the two of you would be so lovely! :)
I’m one minute in & have to stop to say how I appreciate you addressing this topic & as someone older than you (not in the business) I have insecurities & feelings about the aging process that I have to consistently push back. I cannot imagine the pressure you must feel. I know you will serve the topic well & very authentically as you always do. Off to finish the video. Much❤️
I am being completely honest now, aging is normal process and trying to stop it seems a bit unnatural to me. Doutzen you are so beautiful because you have this exceptional energy and to me you will always look flourishing and extremly preety. Even though u say that your face is aging. My mum is 53, she is aging, she has wrinkles, but to me, she is exceptionally beautiful, because she is so full of love, and she accepts herself no matter how she look. 😂But I understand the struggle because of the fashion industry, it’s hard to change standards and beliefs that are present for decades.
You’re amazing! I find it so inspirational that you’re a supermodel and want to be so natural and healthy. I’d be so interested to watch a video about the supplements you take for staying healthy!
Thank you for your refreshing honesty. I think most everyone can relate to this, let alone those in the fashion industry. Thank you for keeping it real. So refreshing. It seems that there is some unspoken shame associated with having anything done or taking extra measures to slow down the aging process, and there is nothing shameful about it. We know these bodies are temporary, but we love them anyway ❤️. Just turned 36, so can relate all too well!
Honestly, I don’t see very much aging on you right now, but I know we see ourselves differently. It’s up to you how you want to handle it, but I think you would be a gorgeous role model for aging naturally. Take care always 💕
I know that gut health is important to the largest and external organ - our skin. To me, you are beautiful from the inside and it reflects on your outside. And I am definitely going to see an acupuncturist! I have avoided botox and fillers even though all my friends are doing it all the time, and think I am strange as I refuse to do it. I threw out thousands of dollars of makeup and went completely organic. So I cannot inject my face with chemicals when I am trying to detox my home and my body of them. Thank you for your video I love watching your channel!
I've always seen fashion as art. Art is not easy, art is daring and storytelling. The origin stories of many big fashion designers are all about that. That's why it saddens me these impactful brands continue to go safe when it comes to models. Young, easy, pretty faces. There's a difference in pretty and beautiful. Models like Doutzen stand out because of their unique facial features that, in my opinion, only get more and more defined with age. Age brings character. It's daring. Age brings the inner beauty outwards. It tells a story. That's art. Rock on Doutzen. You are one of the most inspiringly beautiful persons I know, simply by radiating yourself. If anyone feels the need to airbrush that, it's their lack of creativity in a world of art.
Dear Doutzen, aging is an insecurity for all of us and it is very kind of you to share this, as a supermodel, because it helps many women see that we are all just humans and no one is perfect. It is perfectly normal to feel this way especially since you are someone used to being called beautiful and practically made living out of it (I know there is more than that, but now we’re talking about looks). However, I believe that the best thing you can do is change your perspective. It is true that at 20/25 you were at your prime and as time goes you will not look as youthful and as plump. But you are a beautiful woman and you do things such as sports, yoga and healthy nutrition. Not to mention these skin treatments. Now my point is, look at it as at a cycle of life. You were a teen, then a sexy 25 year old, now you are a mum, one day you will be a grandma and so on. Your looks must change, but your beauty will not fade. I am sure that with all these things you do to combat aging, you will look beautiful at every stage of life. Apart from that, you are beautiful in many other aspects. 💕🌸
Acupuncture saved me from chronic migraine when regular doctors were telling me I would have it forever, I love it. I never thought about using it for aesthetic purposes, that is such a good idea. ♡
The pressure to stay young, plump and line-less is intense. As a woman working in a field directly relayed to esthetics I hear you and understand completely. I would like to point out it makes you vulnerable to all kinds of threatments where 'the practitioners' promise ( 1:30 ) you unbelievable results. If it goes to an extreme the insecurities can rob you of a great life and so much opportunities. What is a valid reason to get an esthetic procedure? It's certainly deeply personal and open for a respectful discussion without shaming or guilting. I hope we have more of those 🥰 all the best xx
I would have never thought of acupuncture!!! Sooo many youtubers are filled with botox and such (and are in their early 20s...) This was so refreshing! I struggle with anxiety, and I've noticed that the left side of my face is squishing as I age, might be linked 'cause I'm over analysing alll of the time!! Hmmm Such a refreshing take! Thanks Doutzen and the team! xxo
Thank you thank you thank you ! I find it so sad that so many young women are going to botox and fillers. I deeply respect that you are choosing a natural and healthy path. You are such an inspiration.

Thank you for being so real and down to earth. So glad you aren't going the botox way! Women who use it don't look younger, but just look like they have botox...and look surprised all the time. I am in my 50s and have taken good care of my skin. When I started noticing my skin changing, my dermatologist told me our skin gets thinner...loss of collagen....worst thing older women do is try to be as thin as they were in their 20s. It actually makes us look older and gaunt. Of course, we need to still be at a healthy weight and exercise, but we now need a few extra pounds to fill out our faces, etc. Not the same body. I realize your figure is your fortune so models are in a different circumstance. Thank you for the acupuncture tip. Enjoy your videos very much.
I adore your channel and you!!! You are so natural and calm which is so rare among influencers, your voice is so relaxing in a way. It is so great that you are looking for natural ways to slow down aging instead of botox and fillers.

Wow love this vid. I love how vulnerable and open you are being w us by telling us your insecurities. You are absolutely beautiful, but I understand why you seek anti aging techniques. In fact, most if not all women do. This vid is also amazing bc you are taking time to talk about aging. I think as a society, esp for women, aging is something that we always fight. But why? It’s like women aren’t allow to age. But we are all human.

Who said dessert had to be unhealthy? First of all, there's plenty of evidence to suggest that "a little bit of what you like does you good", seeing as we are not only physical but also psychological beings. And dessert could be a bar of raw chocolate or coconut yoghurt, for instance. Some healthy desserts are absolutely delicious. In addition to a tonne of vitamins and minerals, cacao for instance contains healthy fats that keep the skin looking plump, youthful and wrinkle free, as do foods like avocado, smoked salmon and blueberries. You just have to choose carefully and preferably avoid artificial additives, excessive sugar (especially if it's refined) and anything modified in a lab, like glucose-fructose syrup. Otherwise, there is nothing to indicate that as part of a balanced diet, fats and sugars are unhealthy. It's the processed chemical crap that is added to them which the body does not know how to break down that do the damage by disrupting the metabolism and affecting the body's ability to know when it's had enough.
Doutzen, how is it possible to have so much inner beauty in you? Thank you for these amazing videos and knowledge transfer! We love and appreciate you ❤️
You are such a wonderful person inside and out , you Managed to transfer your charm and spark into every picture of you and that is something that will Never age. Do Not worry ,people will always Love to see you , i am sure you will be in this Industrie for the next few decades!
I'm 32 and also kind of worried about aging. I've found that acid peelings work very well too. All natural and it encourages the body to use it's own renewal and healing capabilities. It stimulates the growth of collagen and it softens sebum. It removes dead skin cells which tend to clog up pores and make the skin look dull. The results: skin that feels softer, pores get smaller and there is less pigmentation! I've been doing this for a year now, every now and then. I always feel renewed afterwards!
Yay! I use acupuncture regularly, and I ❤️ it! Knowing that I am working with the innate wisdom of my body, and that I am helping it heal itself, just that fills me joy!
By aging the skull is getting smaller, that is why the skin is getting loser. It is not possible to push collagene into the skin. I think this treatment could be relaxing, but it will not give benefits to youre beautiful face...
It's so nice to see someone famous not doing botox or fillers Doutzen. Thank you for being an amazing role model. By the way, i'd be very happy with your face and skin. I'm exactly your age and look a lot older.
Avoid the sun, wear sunscreen, wear a wide brimmed hat, start to incorporate retinol in your skin care twice a week. Every night toner/essence, serum, moisturizer then occlusive oil. If acne prone, use salicylic acid as cleanser while in the shower at least 2%
@@Vialamesa YES, YES, YES to your tips! I started wearing SPF 50 every day on my face at 28 and now at 30 I'm starting to use retinoid (a weaker form of retinol to get my skin used to it). Prevention is so much better than expensive creams/ treatments later. And no cream in the world can make up for skipping SPF. Without SPF all money on other treatments is wasted, cause UV rays are the reason #1 for skin damage. Start as early as you can :)
@@DajanaDarling how do you buy retinoid? Because in its pur form is impossible to buy it. In France in case. There are so cream with a small % of molecule retinol because is powerful. Do you have a brand to recommend? 😊
@@san18384 Oh, sorry. That came across wrong. I don't use it in a pure form. Also, I just got it a few days ago, so I don't have a lot of experience with it yet either. I got the lowest percentage by The ordinary. Their Retinol 0.2% in Squalane. After watching a lot of UA-cam videos about retinol and similar ingredients I really wanted to give it a try. But since most of these products were originally thought for acne prone, oily skin, I felt hesitant to try it for the longest time, because I have more normal to dry skin and just very rarely a tiny pimple here and there.

Hi Doutzen! I truely appreciate you for talking about aging and your concerns towards it! I'm 25 now and I'm truely terrified of getting old. I don't know about you, but scared of "loosing". I know I'll loose my energy, my beauty, my health, my youth and lots of other thing along the way. My mom always says, well getting old is a part of life and a chapter and you must embrace it and learn to deal with every chapter of your life in it's own way. She says I must accept it and get the most out of it. But to be honest I'm so scared that sometimes I wish time would stop!
samin nooranian you have to learn accept yourself as you are, not for how your body looks. Practice positive affirmations in the mirror. It’s all mental. Our brains are now wired to be so afraid of aging, and if that is a very bad thing that could happen. So whenever we think about aging, or whatever it may be for you, we get so anxious. We need to learn our brains that nothing is wrong with aging, we are ok as we are. And actually, aging has so much positives. We need to practice that and through that we are neurally rewiring our brains to love ourselves just as we are, and that aging is amazing. 😉 what is going on with you is all mental! The great thing about it is that that can a 100% be changed. But we need to practice that. The more we practice the better we get at it. You can do it! I’m trying too. I suggest listening to podcasts on self acceptance and love 😊🥰
@@joannx98 thank you so much for your advice😊❤ yes you're right, this fear is all mental. I'll try my best to overcome this fear by acceptance and practice Thank you again😊❤

Thank you for sharing this with us Doutzen! I’ve always been interested in acupuncture so it was good to see more first hand ☺️ however I must share that as someone who studied neuroscience, the idea that there is a right and left side of brain for rational and emotional processes is absolutely incorrect...our brains are much more complex than that....however I know that doesn’t help to explain why your right eye is dropping more than the left :(
I'm literally scrolling for a comment that says this and it took so long :/ it almost sounded like 'don't think too hard or you'll get wrinkles, honey' but hey I love doutzen so I'm gonna watch the whole vid regardless hahaha
Thank you for posting this and exploring the beautiful subject of aging! It is so necessary to talk about it and truly fight the social relationship with the older population. Thank you for being you and sharing this! ❤️
There no doubt to us that you are absolutely perfect, and at the same time I understand when you are sharing your insecurities which I believe everyone has. I’m 40 years old and if I mention my age there’s a gasp f people that don’t believe me. I don’t drink alcohol I never smoked cigarettes drugs and I stay out of the sun. When I was younger I got a burn on my face and had created wrinkles on my head..two years ago I went to a doctor and had 3 small drop injected on my forehead. The wrinkles disappeared immediately and I do it once a year. We eat healthy we exercise I stay away from places with pollution and so much more. I moisturize well with la Mer products and always keep it hydrated. So many things more but I think what you did here by sharing your youthful sources is brilliant. Sharing your own home routine would be amazing to see, and other women on the commentary to do the same.
I am a men and yes I saw this video. You know when I look at your face my jaw just drops on the floor. The face of an angel so pure and beautifull. So much symmetry. Symmetry is the key. But you can't stop aging that's a fact. But please never do botox! It will destroy who you are as a women. Women think men like it, but it is horror. Pure horror! I 100% prefer a natural aging women then some cat face who maybe looks 5 years younger. Embrace getting older! When the time comes that your face is no longer this young accept it with grace! By then it's very very simple... your time of being this jaw dropping beauty is over. Grace and elegance will take it's place. That's what men miss in women these days. And yes I know the more beauty the women has in their face the longer and harder they want to hold on to it. Just don't. Nature over fake every time.
Why do we need to slow down the aging process? We do we have the stupid pressure of being perfect? Why cant we just accept that as normal human beings we just get older and it is normal! And real beauty never fades. I understand when your appearance is what you make money with, you need to live according to the industry standards.. but i would love to see these standards changing where we finally can embrace ourselves as human beings, instead of flaws.
I totally get what you say - you notice changes no one really pays attention to. I completely understand why you're seeking treatments to slow down the aging process. Many people (especially women) are rushing to injectables, but it is obvious that too many of them end up looking funny, whether because done poorly, or over-done. You're so naturally beautiful, Doutzen - I wouldn't mess with such a beautiful face. I hope acupuncture gives you the results you're looking for.
This was such a relatable post for me. I’ve been struggling with the volume loss in my face the last few years and how I feel it’s really aged me especially since having my children, weight gain then rapid loss after both children has really just sucked the life out of my face. We are our own worst critics but while others didn’t really notice out right the difference I saw it everytime I looked in the mirror and especially in pictures. I did decide to use a little botox and some filler but for longer term results I’ve begun a micro needling regimen that has helped with a lot of the texture issues and has helped lift my face some over time. I love your approach and you bravery in speaking so candidly in this video! We all have insecurities and concerns about our looks no matter how beautiful we or others think we are and that’s ok and completely natural. I love we are experiencing a time where we as woman (men too!)can share these feelings and experiences that we go through without being ashamed or embarrassed in order to lift each other up and feel a sense of comradery with one another.💕 Thank you Doutzen 💕
Omg I completely understand where you coming from ! Love your honesty! I think a lot us women can identify with you ! Love you and thank you so much for being REAL ! Love you!
Thank you so much dear Doutzen for speaking this openly about this controversial topic. I love your natural approach to aging, you are such a good example. You will be stunning at no matter what age. Kisses
It’s your profession and how you look is your paycheck. I love acupuncture for so many reasons. You are doing all the right things. Thank you for sharing the doctors information. It may help someone else.
Im 25 and slowly the first small wrinkles are showing up. Sometimes i feel the pressure to do something about it but my goal is to age gracefully😌 Cant wait to turning your age and looking still so young and Beautiful like you😅😍
Aging is a privilege - think about the alternative... I had so many friends die young, either by suicide or accidents, every time I see a sign of aging in the mirror I feel so grateful. Just enjoy every single aspect of your life
Thank God ! You chose a natural path. Don't ever get Botox. You are so beautiful naturally. And ageing naturally is the most beautiful thing that can happen to all of us, it just makes you go through all the life phases which is more important for a person who grows up with nature around.
Same here!
Totally agree💖 Doutzen has always been beautiful, in her 20s she was youthful and cute, but rn...she’s a goddess really, just straight up gorgeous
Tbh I feel that with a lot of people, even myself. I like my face more now with 31 than with 21.
PosiTiva yep botox or not....you will look your age or older!
PosiTiva Yes you are right it also ruins the face. You look at someone's face and something does not look right. Keep eatting right, exercise, drink water and apply sun screen.
PosiTiva It’s the ones that overdo it esp with fillers but bad or overdone botox is awful as well & yes you must go to someone excellent!
I think you mean fillers
@@Paola-jf2qf I just turned 44 and my face didn't get 'worse' compared to 35. So it doesn't have to get much worse the next ten years.
I use Dutch Nivea silky bodylotion (no advertisement, I use this from childhood and never stopped using this for my face and body, my mother used it too) ,
no daycreme and I feel it's partially the reason that my skin is still smooth and showing almost no wrinkles in my face.
Only a little besides my eyes but I don't mind. My cheeks are still smooth
My eyes became a bit smaller and yes maybe the lines along my mouth are a little more visible but not disturbing, just from smiling.
Stop wasting your life away on (anti)social media then!!
I'm so sorry
I’m confident Doutzen’s face was carved by Greek gods. It’s perfect!
You are ageless!! I love how open and honest you are about your insecurities, so inspiring!
You remind of Grace Kelly. Aging so beautifully :).
Atouchofrosyclouds uh she didn’t. She wasn’t eating healthy, didn’t exercise, had a stroke at 52 that crashed the car she was driving. One of the most beautiful women in the world for sure.
Yes. But Grace had a better nose, not so small, like Doutzen.
@@olgaerler4111 🙄
VERY Grace Kelly!!..A bit of Catherine Deneuve too.
I think you are going to bloom into a beautiful lady in a few decades that kind of woman you see and think "she is so graceful"
You're aging so gracefully Doutzen😻❣
Thank you for NOT promoting Botox .. I'm in love with natural aging faces :)
What were the medical reasons?
m excessive face sweat.
Omg same!!! I have excessive forehead sweating but sadly botox didnt work on me
The most beautiful older women I've seen were the ones fully accepting the passage of time, keeping a certain feminity but not the one of a 20 years old, rocking their grey hair, etc, such as Ines de la Fressange, Emma Thompson etc.....There is beauty at every age for the ones who are not fighting hopelessly against time and nature.
Doutzen, you're so real! You are so famous, popular, beautiful, rich, smart.... but still so down to earth. I admire that of you. Many famous people act as if they are better than others. You don't. I love you 😊
Yes, you DO look different than 10 years ago. You look MUCH MORE beautiful now!!!
I love the way she is. So calm and good vibe she radiates. She is a good mother, good wife and model.
Search ‘face yoga method’ she has many great short clips of how to practice it
So interesting.... But honestly if you gain a little bit of healthy weight, your face would be plumper... But I also get that you aren't seeking that
Not necessarily, when I gain weight nothing happens in my face 😀
I agree. I work in the medical field, we did a study on this, it’s the subcutaneous fat that gives us the plumper, youthful look

I’ve deduced it down to this:
Don’t smoke, don’t drink alcohol, don’t do drugs, don’t party hard, stay out of the sun.
Some people may consider that a boring life, but you reap the consequences of your choices. 🤷♀️
I have the occasional alcoholic beverage... maybe once every few months.
Much love
It's the most wonderful time of the day - Doutzentime
This is the reason why we love you. You are honest you are human
It’s sort of comforting to know that even you, who I feel looks absolutely perfect, worries just like I do.
Your beauty is timeless
Your voice is very calm
Very inspirational woman
I love you from philippines 💋💋💋
It sucks that these pressures aren't enforced on men as much as women. Not saying that men should go through this either but it just shows what people go through.
Men go through nothing, women put up will all the pain and societal pressure to look a certain way. Very sad.
Yes, please collab with Lisa Eldridge!!! Perfect duo 🥰
A year late, but this is so refreshing to see and truly humbling. Doutzen, thank you.
5:14 with botox or without your face is wonderful
Noooooooo!! Love you even more now... like a good wine. No Hollywood face for you, they all look like aliens..
Acupuncture saved me from chronic migraine when regular doctors were telling me I would have it forever, I love it. I never thought about using it for aesthetic purposes, that is such a good idea. ♡
I love these types of unfiltered moments you do Doutzen! It's a very real subject and something all women struggle with.

De zwaartekracht gaat werken. Herkenbaar. Een halve mm maakt al groot verschil. Je hebt elke keer weer hele leuke onderwerpen. En je brengt het ook top. Ook de grappige momenten aan het eind zijn zo echt en eerlijk. Dank.
I love what Iman said about aging. She advised older women to let themselves have those extra 5-10 pounds. Dessert is like natural Botox for the face.
so you want to eat unhealthy to look youthful?
Also animal fat can plump you. Doesn’t have to be demonised
Doutzen, how is it possible to have so much inner beauty in you? Thank you for these amazing videos and knowledge transfer! We love and appreciate you ❤️
Psssss, don't tell anyone, but it's something in the Friesland soil and water. ;-)
You are such a wonderful person inside and out , you Managed to transfer your charm and spark into every picture of you and that is something that will Never age. Do Not worry ,people will always Love to see you , i am sure you will be in this Industrie for the next few decades!
You are such an inspiration! And you are certainly changing the world's perspective on so many topics for the better! ❤
One of the most beautiful woman in the world.. even at 60 you will look amazing Doutzen ❤️
1:24 you are a person Who cares about your health
By aging the skull is getting smaller, that is why the skin is getting loser. It is not possible to push collagene into the skin. I think this treatment could be relaxing, but it will not give benefits to youre beautiful face...
You’re so inspiring
It's so nice to see someone famous not doing botox or fillers Doutzen. Thank you for being an amazing role model. By the way, i'd be very happy with your face and skin. I'm exactly your age and look a lot older.
If u're still in your 20's please do skincare it will be really beneficial when u get older, man and women need skincare
Flavored Potato chips could you please specify a routine you have in mind? 🙌🏻❤️thanks!
I chose acupuncture when i was 18 years old,but not for face, to increase height,Althought this stance is genetic but it was very effective.:)
laaya M.Shams wow, could you tell a little more? How does it impact height and how effective was it for your particular goals? Have your body actually become a little more elongated ?
@@rubykubik7046 As you know, height increase after puberty decreases a lot and sometimes stops. But with exercise, a healthy nutrition system, acupuncture and other natural methods can continue stimulating growth hormone.my doctor said before puberty,it will be more effective (even up 10cm),and after puberty Pulses in our body play important role in increasing height.(you can learn more about it in internet.)The needles are placed on the pulse and then connected to another device and like heartbeat, the needles shake for a certain period of time.it's Amazing and same time feel calm and relax.I started at 18years old with exercise and healthy nutrition and become 4,3cm taller in one year. i was 157 know i'm 161cm.but it depends on many other things, your body, your exercise and the frequency of acupuncture.it is really helpful.Unfortunately, i didn't continue because i move to another country for study. But it work and i'm sure if i continue become more and more affection:). everthing is Possible if we want...
@@laayaMShams 😮 wow 😮 it's incredible! And having this knowledge is incredible too!
I'll try my best to overcome this fear by acceptance and practice
Thank you again😊❤
samin nooranian I’m right here with you 😘 I’m struggling too! And so are many other people even if it may not seem like it. You will get there 🥰
Doutzen, you are stunning on the outside, but beautiful on the inside and it really shows. You are a genuine, lovely, calming soul.
Ik snap precies wat je bedoelde met je gezicht, ineens een vermoeide uitstraling. Ook al voel je je positief en wil je stralen. Je gezicht werkt niet mee. Mooi alternatief acupunctuur. Bedankt voor je openheid en de tip!
Thank you for sharing this with us Doutzen! I’ve always been interested in acupuncture so it was good to see more first hand ☺️ however I must share that as someone who studied neuroscience, the idea that there is a right and left side of brain for rational and emotional processes is absolutely incorrect...our brains are much more complex than that....however I know that doesn’t help to explain why your right eye is dropping more than the left :(
I know right. It did sound like pseudo-science to me as well. I guess we all just have asymmetrical faces?
Ms. Douzten you are a truly beautiful woman and are aging like wine! You don’t need any Botox!
Aging like a Queen! You’re so pretty Doutzen.😍
I ❤️ doutzen's time! Always authentic and honest with us muuuuaaahh
I’m just 25 but i’m afraid of aging, too. It was interesting, thank you! 🥰
Korkma
You are a beautiful person inside and out ! Such an example for young ladies ❤
Omg I completely understand where you coming from ! Love your honesty! I think a lot us women can identify with you ! Love you and thank you so much for being REAL ! Love you!
You’re such a role model! :)) lots of love from japan!!
Thank you so much dear Doutzen for speaking this openly about this controversial topic.
I love your natural approach to aging, you are such a good example.
You will be stunning at no matter what age.

It’s your profession and how you look is your paycheck. I love acupuncture for so many reasons. You are doing all the right things. Thank you for sharing the doctors information. It may help someone else.
Im 25 and slowly the first small wrinkles are showing up. Sometimes i feel the pressure to do something about it but my goal is to age gracefully😌 Cant wait to turning your age and looking still so young and Beautiful like you😅😍
You have a youthful, innocent face and a young voice too.
It’s so cool that you add subtitles!! 🙌🏿👏🏿
Aging is a privilege - think about the alternative... I had so many friends die young, either by suicide or accidents, every time I see a sign of aging in the mirror I feel so grateful. Just enjoy every single aspect of your life
I've been following you since I first saw you on Victoria Secret runway🦋IMO you haven't aged at all!!😍😍 such beauty!
Thank God ! You chose a natural path. Don't ever get Botox. You are so beautiful naturally. And ageing naturally is the most beautiful thing that can happen to all of us, it just makes you go through all the life phases which is more important for a person who grows up with nature around.
