Hello everyone, upon request from several people, I have designed a gentle yoga class for managing depression and anxiety. This class is meant to give you space to be mindful of your breath, as we stay in each pose for longer than usual. In addition, we will engage in a series of grounding and soothing poses, that can help us become more present and relaxed. Only did like 2 steps and had to stop to lay my client down I wanted to push his wheelchair fast into the room and toss him in the bed so I can run and finish this 🤣🤣🤣 love it!
Hello Michelle, thank you for your comment. This class is designed to help with anxiety. and depression relief. All poses aim to calm and soothe the nervous system and help you connect to your breath. I would give it a shot and see how it makes you feel, there is also a playlist on this channel dedicated specifically to anxiety relief, I would recommend to check it out too. If you are a beginner in your yoga journey, I would like to mention that at first it may be hard to stay present and stay connected with your breath throughout your practice. My sincere recommendation would be to try a few classes on a consistent basis, this might help you dive deeper into this practice and help you experience the benefits of yoga on a deeper level.
