Simon has a way of taking all the "mechanical mystery" out of the golf swing and simplifying it for dummies like me. If only I could take what I practice on the range to the golf course☹️. Maybe Simon could address the mental aspect of relaxing when the shots actually count. Thanks for the tips Simon and Liam.👍
I started incorporating something almost identical only the other day. I straighten the arms and align club head at 90 degrees from my belly button and then bend from the hips, this gives me a similar result. I will take this one step further with the tips here and see if I can flush the ball even better!
Great advice, but I do find it a little difficult,I'm 6ft5 with a longer top half of my body how would you approach this, also just brought some new irons for the first time and was thinking of getting them lengthened
I have a non golfer next to me and the question was. Why is he showing what is NOT good. If i would like to learn something, i only want to know what to do right. Like learning a language. Its like speaking russian to learn portugese ha ha. So, good stuff only please. Nice vid
It's not just about showing what not to do, it's about explaining the outcome of doing it. If you know the outcomes of what not to do, you can identify a problem when it happens on the course. Many times we slip back into bad habits without even realizing that we're doing it.
Please, no more tips, tricks and lessons. Internet experts ruin golf. Simon may be a great instructor and I'm sure he is, but he has never seen my swing or any other mates swings outside of the published members. Get back to playing golf.
Simon's an absolute master of simplifying the game. Brilliant.
Thanks Simon gear simple advice I'm now drawing the ball never ever thought I would Ty

Thanks for the tips Simon and Liam.👍
Agreed! Adam Scott has possibly the best looking swing too…good job the ball doesn’t know what my swing looks like😉

Fantastic lesson, this is something I really struggle with, thanks
That's a really good explanation of the most important basics of set-up. Get this right and you will be fine for most of the issues in the swing.
Thanks Simon, great videos
Excellent tip😊
One a week of the hidden gems pls Liam. And what a swing something I'm gonna try out at the range

Another cracking and free lesson , thanks Simon , Please get Barlow demonstrating something, I know he can’t be taught anything conventional.
So if its the left arm that does all the work should right dominant golfers play left handed? Serious question.
Great advice, but I do find it a little difficult,I'm 6ft5 with a longer top half of my body how would you approach this, also just brought some new irons for the first time and was thinking of getting them lengthened
Is this the same for every club
What if you have had back fusion surgery?
Simon, have Liam play a shot then deconstruct it showing the flaws, if any and then show the correct posture, swing, grip and strike.
Love this
My shadow in my back swing always looks like Adam Scott. Unfortunately my actual swing is like Terry Scott
genius 😅
Mr Barlow needs this 😂
That would be a good set of videos. Barlow - Before and After.
@royclose946 So do I. Easier said than done. For some reason I lose all relaxation that I can achieve on the range as soon as I get on the course☹️
Come on Liam need more completion
Simon, do you have a channel?? If not , why ?
