Does bearing weight on the cast prevent it from healing? I don’t feel pain when I walk it with a cast shoe but I’m concerned about the healing

If they say yes than it actually aids in healing. But only walk on it if your doctor says so.

sheeba naaz yes you can walk without crutches, it is recommended to walk with at least an elbow crutch or a walking stick, to reduce weight on the cast.

you may put pressure on the foot. However walking with a cast makes the cast dirty and sometimes breaks it. Thats exactly where cast shoe is helpful. Also this product helps in maintaining hygiene of the patient.
