    Hurricane Milton made landfall a long Florida's west coast yesterday evening. Now, after the storm has passed, thousands are trying to return home after having to evacuate. i-75 north is bumper to bumper standstill traffic from Miami across Alligator Alley, to Naples, Fort Myers, Sarasota and into Tampa. Many risk running out of gas, as nearly all stations are still out.

    After 25 years living in South Florida, I evacuated only once. That was one of the worst days that I can remember.

      yup I did not leave, we know the story " it will hit Tampa directly, STORM OF THE CENTURY, EVACUATE NOW!" and then it goes south and you never had to leave in the first place

      Why didn’t you drive back on Highway 41 instead? I mean it runs basically parallel to interstate 75. 🙄

    So many people are asking about the smaller towns that no info is coming from. You're the only one I've seen with a video from Nokomis FL. Any chance you could upload more from around Bay Lake Estates. Getting conflicting info. Thanks for all you do!

    As a SouthWest native 42 year Floridian myself, that looks like the typical Interstate 4 on a slow day.
    Prayers to you all traveling back home safely. What a week and many more to come. We will build again!

    Or even drive US Highway 27 NW. and then head west on Highway 80! I don’t think these people have a clue about good alternate routes.🙄😂

    I sat at a restaurant area just off of I-75 on I-10 and got up at 2:30 am and 75 was almost dead and I got off at Wildwood. It always makes me laugh when people wait until everyone else comes back at the same time and sit in bumper to bumper traffic. I went up to I-10 at 3am Wednesday morning and traffic was light.😂😂😂😂

  • @jaydee975
    @jaydee975 2 дні тому +1

    Wow, I think a lot of these people really don’t know their highways very well.😂😮🙄 If I were coming back from Miami, I would’ve driven on the Tamiami Trail (Highway 41) instead.

    How many didn't need to evacuate? If you were not in an evacuation zone and you ran anyway, you are the cause of gas shortages and backups. Because you are a selfish coward. Take that any way you like.
