Wish I could relocate my old 1975 401 powered Gremlin. The only identifier mark would be the gas cap. I removed it when I put the fuel cell in and welded a small piece of metal over the opening. It cleaned up the "wart" bump on the back area nicely.
mr fontenot...did you once own a 1972 AMC Javelin SST with 401 v8 that appeared in some hipo car zine in the 80s or 90s(PHR or CC?) or was another Fontenot??
Didn't see a red Gremlin. I see a red Hornet. Ann Erb drives a 70 which last I saw was in traditional paint. The AMX running against the Hornet is a 68 or 9
had a blast watching my favorite cars -never give up

Nope, that was not me. I have never own a Javelin. Nor did any of my relatives back then, as far as I know.
The camera barely showed the red Gremlins opponent which sure as hell looks like Ann Erbs 1969 AMX that's an 8 second beast .

@@gregoryvanzilen844 I dont think Ann and Steve ever rebuilt the AMX after the crash a while back. Too bad. Awesome car and driver.
