It's a shame that AMC didn't get more recognition which would have led to more aftermarket support in it's day. They had a lot of performance potential. I recently played with a 1969 Javelin and was very much impressed by how well that car drove and responded to standard hotrod techniques. The majority of us missed out on a good thing.
the Amx in the video 1969, in primer if he would loosing up his suspension a little ,it would go a few tenths quicker,it acts like it has no springs in the front, like its tied down, old school.
Agreed. Something wrong with the launches, leading to greater variations in track times. Don't put the wheelie bar so low, and let the front wheels drop a little more. It also seems to be pulling left too much.
@@marcchaffee7751 atm, yes that is correct. no engine or trans. Depending on what someone would want to spend i can add to the package... in my videos it did have a 401 and a 727 auto in it. it does have a clutch pedal in the car. (just in case) i had visions of a Indy Alum. engine and a Liberty 5 spd behind it....
AMC the old AMX's with a 4 speed stick what a great car et'd very well in super stock!! Nice to see them again Thanks for sharing!!!

I was not referring to the equipment but how it was filmed, happy what!
I think not. Looks like the Camaro ran a 10:29 on a 10:26 dial in. That's damned hard to beat! But... the AMX WAS quicker!
Please take the camera away from Micheal j fox!!!!
