Some 45 years later and I am missing my ugly little GremlinX :) AMC muscle was under rated and people beat them to death, getting so much harder to find now-a-days, would love me a Rebel were I rich, later eh :)
I too am a Chrysler man but American Motors Corp? It has America in it, how the hell can't you like it? I went to the Salem Supernats and seen both a 65 Marlin, and one of the hurst S/C Ramblers, in the same parking lot! I was like "holey crap!what are the odds?" that was the highlight of the whole show!!
Mopar Volkswagen I was so glad that Mopar welcomed AMC into the fold after they bought out Jeep. AMC was all about engineeering in the cheap, and used May of Mopar's parameters when coming up with their modern V8's. The bore spacing of the AMC V8 is the same as the BB Mopar. The intake gaskets of the AMCV8 are so close to Mopar BB's that when you set a BB Mopar on top of an AMC head it's almost a 100% match portwise! They used the same biased port design as Mopar did, if not to a greater effect. They use a Torqueflight Transmission in the later years making it possible to put Hemi Torqueflight internals in an AMC Trans, along with the 2.75 low gearset! They borrowed a lot of engineering Q's from other manufacturers, but they are really Mopar's kissing Cousins
Wished i was driving not video-ing..lol.. It was a good time tho! thanks for checking out my video's, i enjoy them as well, and like sharing them! Mike
If that scrambler driver had a better hookup, he'd have made a better pass

my first car was a 68 javelin. loved that car and wish i had it today.
Kenosha killer.....oh my....
Thanks for posting Mike!
Absolutely love the rare AMC muscle!❤️
If I had a fast AMC like one of these the license plate would be AMCYA. Gotta love the under dog brand.
I still have a 74 AMX Javelin in restoration. 401 with some standard mods. An AMX won the pinks shootout once, but it was BBC under the hood.
I'm a Mopar man, but I have TONS of respect for the Nashes from Kenosha.....give me a Super Stock AMX over ANY Ford or Chev....

Sorry Dean,
