Then you see Jason, the 20 year old guy from the local video rental place driving her, then you see 4 guys inside of her at the same time in the movie theater, and you just thank your lucky stars you traded your Corolla in, and take Joey out for a "thank you" beer. I could've gotten a way better car than a Corolla in bottomfeeder trim on the secondary market and actually pass people on the interstate. Why nobody respects that car is because of who buys it and brags about how long it lasts. That's like going to a casino and bragging about how many times the house wins
I had an AE101 Corolla as my first car and it never let me down, even after a couple collisions and running it dry of oil.
Its junk america never produced many 3 cylinders like europe lol

They missed the second best corolla model after ae86 , the ke70 (1980-1983) rwd layout and very similar suspension and chassis to the ae86 in-fact pretty much all the suspension and drivetrain from ae86 is bolt on fit on the ke70 even the 4age with t50 fits bolt on from the ae86 to ke70.

Yeap 1979 to 1982 1.8 3tc that came on base 1.8 , wagon , SR5 1.8 and 1983 same body but 1.6 cc not 2tc the one with spark plugs on the side before twins cam love corollas I actually own a 2017 Corolla SE never got a problem in Puerto Rico we get the Toyo glide before Corolla with the 1,200 cc engine some country's get different names on verry similar models and trims nice video donut I'm enjoy this videos every day thanks James Miguel from Boston MA

Yep, and for some of my family it's the only car they will buy period, because they are just plain reliable. My aunt still has a 99 Corolla LE automatic going strong with close to 400k on it, and no signs of stopping.
I got a new 2020 Corolla, so far so good. Idk about the new cvt transmission

I had a 1991 Corolla sedan. 300k miles and counting. My mom had to get rid of it because it was only sitting on our driveway but man. It was my "save game" when my other cars broke down.
I will always remember September the 23rd of 2018 as the day my parents took me and my best friend on what would technically be our first date in downtown
While our sienna was in the shop, a black 2017 Corolla SE was rented to fill in for it that day

I believe my dad's old Corolla during the late Seventies was a SR5 Coupe. It's a good thing it was brown because it matched the ever-increasing amount of rust the car was accumulating over the years! You could see the road through the floor! 😁
It was a fun little car! I was always fascinated by how easy he made it look driving a manual. Never got the chance to learn how to drive with it. I only started driving a manual on a regular basis last summer when I bought a manual Fiat 500 Abarth.

Delivery driving and switched from a 2004 Grand Prix to a 2010 corolla. Biggest seller for me is how reliable they are. The Grand Prix is my favorite but the corolla has a parking spot everywhere and it doesn’t really break. Only thing I’ve had go wrong so far was the battery. It did so in a Walmart parking lot. A Walmart that sold batteries. Thanks corolla

The early 2000's Corolla had such a high ride height my dad and I went camping at Big Bend and kept up with all the trucks when we went to our backwoods camp sight. It was nice
Lowered my 2004 9th gen e120 4" in the front and 6" in the back and still can see under it.
I drive a 2019 wagon/estate(uk) hybrid everyday as a taxi. Amazing car. 60mpg and easy to drive. Fantastic vehicle. Great video!

My first car was a Toyota Corolla E12, 2003. I loved it. A few years later, I am proud owner of the successor (here in Germany called the Auris for whatever reason). I got rid of the Auris in the back and branded it a corolla again. Love my car. :)

Yeah they forgot the AE92, AE111, E11 and E12. All American UA-cam channels that do a "all you need to know" on Corollas always leave out those models as they weren't available in the U.S

I still remember my dads blue 96 Corolla he bought in 2005 when him and my mom moved here from Pakistan, such great memories, the only thing wrong with it was the door handle somehow broke so I had to reach over and open it from the inside and also the power steering failed so it was a workout to drive 😂

Proud owner of a ‘93 corolla. Manual windows, barely keeps up with traffic, never left us stranded :)
I have a 90 dx. Bought it a few months ago. Worst I’ve had to do was buy a new clutch. Out of all my friends, I have the oldest car… and I’ve saved my stranded friends multiple times.

This is a FACT. my dad had an SR5 when he went to college in Tennessee in the 80's. He loved that thing to death, and his Datsun 510. He loved them so much. He decided when he comes home back to Indonesia, he would buy both cars again and teach me cars. I swear on my life, I will take care of both the SR5 and the Datsun.

My corolla makes 255 hp after I built up the motor the automatic transmission is still holding up at 170k miles and all I have broken was axles and went through tires i absolutely love this thing
I still had hachiroku in my garage , very reliable not so fast but its really fun , 4-Age engine never let me down.

had a geo metro when i was like 17 . was one of my first 5 speeds , breaks were siezed all around i spent hours buying this car cause i was young and dumb ... but ill def admit canada made a good job at making a geo a fun car for as teenager was def a learning curve . now i own a lifted 3rd gen 4runner 5 speed lol

As an 05 XRS owner, gotta clarify actual redline is 8250rpm. Lift activates at 6700rpm. Party trick that never gets old and surprises all, freakin love this car 8)
