A nice Corolla! You can paint the front brake calipers and rear drums for better looks. Also, for improve the riding, front and rear sways bars help, and strengthen the body with a suspension strut bar and inner fender's reinforcement bar. The rear strut bar doesn't make any real diference. Better brake pads and metal lines improves the braking feel. Last, an aftermarket exhaust header with a Magnaflow catalytic converter improves a little the power, and also sound better under acceleration. And don't forget a good set of tyres!
I just got myself a 95 Corolla and this is for sure the goal!! I will come back with questions in the near future once I start modifying the cosmetics of the car!
I used to have a 93 toyota Corolla dx. When I bought it from a very old guy it was about 150,000 miles. I drove that car until it hit 509,000 miles , and that's when one of the valves went off on me. I do have the money to fix it, but at the Sametime, time has been changed. One day, I will go back to go get me one again. It is a very nice, enjoyable car. Even though it is a slow car but hitting corners or wobbly roads is a very fun car with summer tires. I don't know if people are missing out on that.
