Mick Lynch: Truss making it 'impossible' for unions to exist

  • Mick Lynch, the General Secretary of the RMT union, has warned that the UK could soon be as oppressive as China and Russia in stamping out union activity.
He told Sky's Sophy Ridge that proposed laws restricting unions would make it impossible for workers to take industrial action.
He said: "We're far getting to a situation where we're going to have laws that are as oppressive as those that exist in Russia and China.
"They're trying to make it impossible for trade unions to exist in this country.
"They're trying to make it impossible for the people of this country to campaign against poverty....They're trying to regulate unions."

Mick Lynch demonstrates an authenticity and intelligence that is respectful, informed, logical and passionate. These traits appear to be missing in the current government who are disrespectful, fraudulent, illogical, and have the emotional range of damaged toddlers who get worse the more people demonstrate their falsehoods. He also demonstrates a sense of humour and an ability to learn with the times, as shown in his interviews and his development as a key public figure.

If that economic reality is lost on business, they need to die, and someone will replace them. I can't think of a business that has been around for hundreds of years.
