Good on ya Scoot! Thanks very much for the video annd your effort to explain in detail how to give better avocado plant care - definitely a good preparation for my 2 year-old avo plant!
i notice your pots are transparent cups, when does light become bad for the roots? I have a weird situation where I transplanted avocoda plant and then leaves turned yellow, now some of those yellwo leaves turning brown on edges, BUT there are new leaves that are growing out of the top. so how can it be only affectign those leaves, all the old ones that were green before I transplanted?
hello hope you are doing well I have a question for you. I just topped my avocado tree about 4 to 5 weeks ago and the leaves are going brown around them edges do you know why that may be?
green leaves may come across if they lack iron. I've heard the tip from the channel "slivki show" where he told us to put some rusty nails into the soil an apple tree should grow in the garden. I've heard the tip from a few Indian channels to water yellowish plants with rusty water and that's what helped my lemon trees from being wack and shy. now I put some rusty nails into the soil for my houseplants and they are beautiful and green.
To be general - the plants will be fine. The issue is that there is way too much CO2 in the atmosphere, and net zero is not producing zero emissions, but creating a balance of what is emitted and then removed from the atmosphere (and plants come into this equation). And even if we were to go to a better target (of seeing the amount of net CO2 in the atmosphere reduce over time), the plants will still be fine because living things still produce CO2, which will be the amount plants need, comfortably. The ecosystems of our planet did just fine before the Industrial Revolution increases the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. Furthermore, should we fail to reduce our emissions and continue to add increasing amounts of carbon emissions to the atmosphere yearly, the results of climate change will have devastating effects on the ecology of the planet. Warming conditions, drought, extreme conditions, would be detrimental to plant life.
Thanks for your comment, I understand where you’re coming from. However, I’m a big believer in explaining not just the ‘how’ but also the ‘why’ - it helps knowledge to become transferable and more useful. I want to avoid “do this because that’s what I do” and rather “do this because it’s the best way to do it due to these reasons”. 🥑🌱

Thanks for sharing! I've been wondering about fertilizers all this week!
I don't have an avocado tree, I came for the hair and the cool hat 💁🏼♀️

@eriks8382 that's a strange way to come out
Wow 3 year long beef. That’s a first 😶
SOOO helpful! Thank you so much!
Hey Scott... I have a Gaia Green 4-4-4 Fertilizer available at home.. Will this be OK to start feeding my one-year seedling?
Use 6-6-6 for avocados. 4-4-4 will work tho !!

Super helpful info, thanks!

I’ve been Vermicomposting for about a year.
It seems like all my plants love worm castings.
This may have saved my tree, but I’ll update to let you know!

I've heard of this hack, too! But I can't say I've tried it - I think, perhaps, some further experimenting might be needed! :)
I def feel like i saw a bug or something crawl up behind you at 7:57 lol

I watched a video and someone said to do the opeset of everything you did
I would like to review this video. Do you remember the episode?
never seen human hybridized avocado grow in perfect balance with nature in australia. lol
Not many non-natives will. Our soil is too old and poor for many introduced species to do well without intervention.
General question- everyone knows plants need carbon to exist. What happens if we make our air "net zero carbon" per the WEF's demands

I would love this video if the background is totally absent. You really don’t need it.
This felt too long to get to the point, would nice to be a bit more brief. Cutaway videos made the vid feel longer,

I felt this video was the perfect length ! Very informative and it’s just a bonus that Scott’s got a glorious head of hair and is a beauty to watch 💚
