Fascinating case. I agree with, Matthew when he said, " He (Tom Grant) went from whistle blower to possibly a person of interest"..Tom's filibustering seems to indicate that he's hiding his involvement, to protect himself from blowback. Thanks for all your hard work; I know that you're bring more eyes to this.
@@niallflanagan5915 Thank you! I couldn’t agree more. Everyone who looks into the case in any meaningful way, sees that there’s something very wrong with Tom’s involvement. When it gets reopened, I’m sure he will be subpoenaed to speak to his role.
I just saw a recent phone call interview with a guy (forget who) and joe burns, and joe mentions there being a PI there that night as well, then he says there was 2 PI's maybe, and he was supposed to be checking out online to see a picture of tom grant to see if he recognizes him. Has there been any more to this yet?
EDIT: Sorry, just checked it out. It was actually Matthew Richer who was interviewing him on the phone and it was a video on this channel!!!

I was lucky enough to have seen Nirvana ten times and even sold merch for them on their first UK live dates and got to hang out with them a bit. Loving all the new info brought forth by this new witness, it makes a lot of sense. Keep up the good work!!

@@Angeldust0580 Oh yeah! We’ve heard from numerous insiders that’s all he cares about.
Also, Pelly and Gary Smith surveyed the property on the afternoon of Thursday the 7th. This is noted in the police report. Pelly contracted Vaca (sp) Electric (Gary's company) to install the security lighting. Amazing they missed finding Kurt since the wiring panel to the security system was located on the wall inside the greenhouse. If you're doing a site survey for electrical work, you're going to inspect the patch panel for all the wiring. You can see the wiring panel in the photos released by SPD ten years ago. I'm assuming they peered through the doors during the site survey as Pelly would need to point out the spot where Gary would terminate his cabling the next day. And Pelly must have provided Gary with the key to get into the greenhouse during that meeting. Unfortunately, it sounds like we'll never get verification on this if Gary isn't talking.

It's sad to see Tom Grant has acted this way behind the scenes, but in all honesty, this does nothing to move Kurt's case forward. All it does is sow division and it makes it look like the conspiracy to kill Kurt is nothing more than a hoax. These kinds of interviews really shouldn't be conducted and then uploaded for that reason alone. If you truly want Kurt's case re-opened, re-investigated, and the history books re-written with Kurt's killers behind bars, then you have to stay focused on obtaining every bit of tangible evidence there is. Stay focused on finding every eye witness and getting them to confess to the Seattle PD. It's been over 30-years since Kurt died. We need this case re-opened and solved for Kurt before those who did it die and get away with their crimes.
I disagree. Tom is a big part of Kurt’s story. By getting more explanation from all parties you get a better picture of what really has happened and why the drama has occurred. The SPD despise Tom Grant. What WKK is doing is really smart actually. They are separating themselves from him and giving the public and SPD information they didn’t have before. They are showing they are serious about finding the truth.
I disagree. This is separating WKK from the rest. They are putting aside personal feelings and trying to find out why this case has been stalled for so long. By hearing from all parties this gives us a better picture why the case has stalled. This is exactly what police do. The SPD do not like Tom Grant. By WKK separating themselves from him shows they are serious in getting justice. Having these conversations helps the public and the SPD better understand what has been happening behind the scenes all these years and showing why there are hard feelings amongst people within this cause. Not to mention, if you look at the comments section, Michelle and her partner come off very contradictory. The video comes off as an interview to expose Tom Grant. In the comments, however, they seem tobe against Matt Richer, too. So like I said, this isn't really showing anything but pettiness.

Please explain to me how either myself or Michelle is contradictory? I've made my feelings for Matthew abundantly clear and always have. Regardless of my personal feelings though, he has been looking into this case for a very long time. He is responsible for getting Fisk to come forward and several others. You're welcome to your opinion but leaving it on every single video isn't going to change our approach when it comes to getting down to the truth.

All I'm saying is there are conflicting messages going on. Michelle seems to be on Matt's side this whole video. Maybe I'm wrong, but that was how it came across. Then y'all are here in the comments saying the exact opposite of the vibe I got as one of you told one person that y'all thought Matt had a personal agenda to unfairly destroy Tom, which now makes it appear like you're on Tom's side. That's why it comes across as contradictory to me. All I want is the truth to come out and for Kurt to be able to rest easy knowing the world finally knows the truth. Going after amatuer sleuths, exposing their inconsistencies seems like just spinning wheels to me. We need to go forward and get this case reopened.

I wish Tom would release all of the recordings. Cassette tapes begin to deteriorate after 25 years, and it's been 30 since he recorded the conversations.
@@aisle_of_view I don't believe that he even still has them. I've talked to quite a few people that have worked closely with (that refuse to work with him any further) and they all agree.
@@orielcollins414 I remember reading Tom saying that he had plans for when he couldn't do the case anymore or was no longer here, that one of his family (grandchildren I think) was going to take the case over and that he had it all planned out, that he had things hidden where only he & they knew where some of his files were (Hidden also in case of CL sending someone to steal his info or somesuch)

For me it wasn't one thing that stood out as the ground breaking evidence it was a bunch of the inconsistencies and reasonable doubts that stacked up. Like everybody looking for Kurt but cannot find him there, the electrician called to go to the greenhouse specifically after all the calls back and forth and Courtney going in and out of hospital or jail whatever just seemingly locking down alibis, the fact that all those people were in and around the house for days but suddenly all dissappear, yes the fingerprints are a factor to me because they didn't find a usable print on anything not the box of shells, the note, the "fix kit" like anything, the shell being on the wrong side of body, the fact Kurt was making plans for the future, the police allowing multiple people in the scene without care shows you how they felt, the note Kurt supposedly wrote seemed off and the amount of dope he slammed right before doing himself in even though detective Ciesynski admitted it was indeed a fatal dose and I could go on and on. The investigation was NOT handled correctly it was closed the day heck a few hours after they found Kurt and all these doubts or questions could and should of been at least briefly addressed. I mean we should be able to have a higher standard than this for our investigators!

At the end of Soaked in Bleach Tom says the main gun was destroy why would Tom do that and now we know why .
CL had her lawyer Alan Drayer? write a legal doc up to have the guns in evidence, the 3 they took when she called cops saying he was gonna self harm, a 9mm. 380, and a AR style scary black rifle, and the shotgun. The others was destroyed so everybody thought it was gone until the 2014 reopen?😂 of the case by Det cyinski?

Could Tom have been hired by Courtney to "Act" like he's looking for Kurt? Is this why Tom has never really looked into the case except for the few little things he was coached to say during Soaked In Bleach , I don't know if we will ever find out Tom's involvement but it sounds pretty shady to me.

@WhoKilledKurtOrg I never really thought about it until recently the last few weeks when Joe first mentioned he remembered Tom at the house before Kurt was found, didn't he say Tom was hanging with everyone in the house? I'm probably wrong but yeah, weird stuff!! It's ashamed Tom has rode this free ride in Kurt's behalf all these years he could've come out with the information he's holding back, if it's valid info to begin with..
@fenderfox5080 no actually Joe did not say for sure that he saw Tom at the house that night. He said that there were two PI's lurking the property taking pictures. There is a piece of the raw footage where he picked Tom's picture out of a line up on a laptop. After speaking with Joe more in-depth ourselves about what exactly is happening in that clip, he told us that before the camera started rolling he was asked if he recognized anyone and he had told Matthew and Nathan that he had recognized Tom from somewhere but he wasn't sure where. Obviously it was used out of context in an attempt to make it look like he was fingering Tom as being the PI at the house the night Kurt died. That is the main reason that we never released that particular clip ourselves. We weren't clear on exactly what was happening and we didn't want to spread false information. The raw footage was eventually leaked by Matthew Richer himself to people such as "Kurt's Army" and they did Matthews bidding in that regard. Aside from all of that, we do believe that Tom is hiding something. He knows way more than he is saying and he's been less than honest for the past thirty years. He has gone out of his way to write off and discredit multiple potential leads and most of the information that he has released over the years is easily disproven.
@WhoKilledKurtOrg ok i wasn't sure about that so that you for clearing this up, I'm a huge Kurt fan, I have hundreds of nirvana items I've collected my whole life and have a few tattoos 1 of Kurt,1 of the in Utero angel with the words( the sun is gone but I have a light, I think I'm dumb but maybe just happy) written behind the angel, I've been waiting since Kurt passed to find out the truth so thank you From THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR KEEPING THIS CASE MOVING FORWARD . I think the focus should be solely on who killed Kurt instead of Tom Grant. To be fair, Tom Grant was the first one who got this case national attention.
@@erikastoncius6560 the point is to get to the truth by any means necessary and if that includes speaking to someone that I personally don't even like them so be it. Tom is hailed as a hero for Kurt Cobain but realistically he has done very little for this case if you look at the big picture. Tom did very little investigating and that includes never bothering to track down and question key witnesses 39 years ago. When given the opportunity to question people that were involved back then he has instead thrown fits and deliberately tried to discredit them. Including Cali Dewitt. Cali Dewitt was willing to be interviewed for Soaked in Bleach but instead Tom threw a fit and threatened to walk off set. He has always claimed that he never had the chance to talk to Cali even though Courtney repeatedly told him exactly where to find him.

I never believed Tom’s story about their chance first meeting on Easter Sunday, but if you think about why he was at the Peninsula hotel early that morning with his high class hooker “client” you’ll find a clue about how Tom and Madam Courtney really knew each other… 🤫
It would make perfect sense that a guy who made his name on a case he cast suspicion on yet did not investigate would not anyone investigating it and finding details that make his narrative fall apart. Especially if he is making passive income off said narrative.
Or has been intentionally running interference against anyone who might try to dig deeper. He was so close to Love and her people that I don't see why Geffen or whomever would not set up someone to muddy the water.

I would love to hear Michelle finally address the accusation of how she got the Gary Cobain autopsy. Because I have heard that she kinda tricked Gary out of the autopsy at least that's what someone had a video and Gary was speaking on the situation too basically saying the something but I'm not sure what happened there or if Gary was confused or talked into saying this maybe edited I'm not sure but good ol' Charles made some hearty accusations and had Gary possibly on the telephone saying the something. I hate that there is always just this drama around Kurt's death because it isn't about the glory or the person doing whatever it is about Kurt's legacy and that somebody lost a son, lost a father, lost a friend and we lost music that may have helped or inspired the world. I just don't understand how or why everyone who get into this always ends up attacking each other or putting someone down or has skeletons in closet and things don't seem transparent or whatever while we REALLY ALL NEED TO BE TOGETHER TO ACTUALLY HAVE A CHANCE AT MOVEMENT for Kurt. Charles has claimed he reached out for a roundtable but who knows anymore
The autopsy had nothing at all to do with Michelle 😂 once again ASF ran with a story that he didn't bother to actually get the correct details on. He heard "woman" and immediately blamed the first woman that has bothered to get involved and do the right thing. You're more than welcome to visit our Patreon for the full story. It is free to join. The autopsy being stolen from Gary was long before Michelle even met him. The power of attorney was witnessed by a neutral 3rd party notary that explained to Gary in detail every thing that it would be used for. The power of attorney had nothing at all to do with Gary's well being. It was a limited power of attorney solely to be used for filing the paperwork with the authorities. I find it hilarious that Charles fails to mention that Gary's phone was bought and paid for by Michelle as is the monthly bill. Michelle has also helped Gary with money, expenses, and numerous gifts that she wasn't obligated to do but because she's simply a great person. There has been more progress with this case in the past two months since Michelle got involved then there has been in 4p years. Michelle has not pocketed a single penny from this case but she is around 10k in the hole over it from paying forensic specialists and medical examiners to review the case. All of which she did because she wants Justice for Kurt.
As far as charles reaching out for a round table, you can pass along the msg that Lisa said that he's a damn liar. Before we went public with any of this we reached out to everyone that has ever been anyone in the Cobain case including ASF. He didn't even bother to respond but two days later made his stupid little click bait video claiming that we forged a document that was witnessed and signed by a licensed notary who explained everything to Gary in great detail. We'd have to pretty fucking stupid to forge a document that the sole purpose of obtaining was to file it with the authorities. Neither of us were even present when Gary signed the POA 🤣 Charles likes to talk shit on Tom Grant and Chris Todd for the same exact thing that he has been doing for years. Milking unsuspecting Kurt Cobain fans and then never coming through with what he has promised.
I've yet to see Michelle begging for money for Christmas gifts and free vacations to Seattle!

I mean, I personally have been super sketch on Charles since the whole donations to send him to Seattle for this great documentary (that NEVER CAME) and then he had the audacity to complain about having to rent his own car! Saying it was taking away from his kids Christmas money and all that but then later claimed he has a small fortune and is a small time real estate guy or whatever plus his Patreon that definitely NOTHING IS FREE add in all the childish tantrums and the posting then deleting things. But it's great that that was cleared up that's super cool of you. I'm really glad and support what you guys are doing and it definitely means something to people! I'm positive it's going to take a massive group effort to get any movement because for obvious reasons certain people and groups admitting fault or carelessness will come with a tremendous $hitstorm. why havent Kurts tapes been found? think about a serious musician, recording his home personal song ideas on tape, to them its like a diary, he would have kept dates and times of idea progression to find some small music idea so the final recording will be virtually just before he died also a guy who records with home machines may have left the recording going or never had a chance to press stop, the tapes were just taken yet for all anyone knows the exact time of his death may have been recorded?

Erik Erlandson has some of Kurt's tapes and guitars. Nirvana also recorded in Brazil and took boxes of tapes with them when they left.

Honestly, I think the only two worth listening to are Lisa and Michelle. They, like us, just want this case solved once and for all. When he saw that we took Joe out to dinner and took him some donations for himself and Thor Dean immediately decided that he needed to take Joe out also. While they were having dinner, Dean recorded Joe without his knowledge or permission. When Joe saw the recording on UA-cam he asked Dean to please take it down. Dean immediately flipped out on him and started threatening him that he was going to tell everyone that Joe was a liar and a fraud. As always, we have screenshots to back every single bit of this up. Joe contacted us upset that Dean was threatening to call him a liar. As far as Matthew goes, he believes that Joe is "his" witness. Joe told us last night that he spoke with Matthew just yesterday. I'm not sure of the exact details to him being an admin of Dean's group but if I had to guess I'd say that Matthew is doing what Matthew does.. using whoever he can to have his voice heard when it comes to taking down Tom. Even if that includes manipulating a mentally ill man that believes he was best friends with every dead rockstar from the 90s.

For example, he had wanted to name his son 'Benito', and said it would have been after Mussolini as it was a 'good Italian Fascist name' .However, as I said, whatever he chooses to believe, has nothing whatsoever to do with his statement and as abhorrent as that ideology is, we have to ignore it.

I wanted to buy into this crap as a kid when he died. But you can’t justify fans knowing more than those truly closest to Kurt, and they all know he killed himself. I was a heroin addict for 7 years (10 years clean now) and can say suicide is almost always on your mind when you’re strung out just because of how much you hate yourself. It’s simply an easier narrative to accept by thinking “murder”. But the truth is he killed himself.
Well done on your sobriety, although I have seen that pattern myself with an addict it seemed when they were coming down all they wanted to do was die, because of the feeling of being a burden and being ashamed. I'm not sure about Kurt tho if he just od'd I'd say yes although you can't prove the motive accidental or not or just feeling like you need more to chase the buzz. As an addict would you want to shoot yourself before the buzz hit? That's what makes me question also his choice of location 🤔 Also the gun type. The biggest red flag about the scene for me was him putting back the needles and everything into the box and rolling down his sleeve. Which was a distance from him unless they were moved away before taking photos so his wound wasn't seen. But then they were meant to be for the police files only not the public. It seems strange to me but you could be right. Well done on your sobriety anyway
@ it just depends on the circumstances really. I’ve overdosed a good 5 minutes after taking a shot. I had all of my stuff put away before a good friend hit me with a couple doses of narcan. They knew I was an addict and thankfully they realized what the situation was and were able to take action.
@germanswede1781 thank God your friends were there and knew what to do. 🙂 I never thought that the needles would be put away before od' ing, especially as Kurt was supposedly to shoot himself straight away.
@ I was very fortunate (a few times really). But like I said it just depends on the circumstances. I knew someone that overdosed with the needle still in their arm, so there’s definitely some variables that should be considered. Such as what the dope is cut with or how well the cut is mixed in the dope. I used black tar, which is the most crude form of heroin and you never really know what you’re getting with that. For instance my sister has several black tattoo like dots on her arms because the dope was cut with shoe polish. I guess my point with all of this is all of these “facts” these conspiracy theorists want to use are meaningless and don’t really hold any credibility to them. But thanks for the congrats, it was a horrible period of time in my life and I am a completely different person today with a family and career. So there is hope for anyone out there stuck in the shit cycle that addiction causes
