exactly!!!! She was so awkward.....and the interviewer was pretty bad too 😂😂😂 she was rude for trying to leave in the middle of it.....how professional lol
She was trying to leave before that. "Two more questions" and she stayed for at least ten more, c'mon! And even after the implication, she stayed for some more.
People ask Courtney Love questions they would never as a man or anyone else for that matter. She’s given the second degree again and again for being a human and an artist. She’s a woman who’s shamed for never apologizing for herself.
I guess, but is it necessary to look like a train wreck all the time ? I think she is musically gifted for sure, but have some grace, get it together. Her daughter hardly wants anything to do with her for the love of gawd.
This is like interrogation like she always gets. She hates it. The guy is genuine, an loves Courtney, and is and embarassd that the producers make him ask these stupid questions he knows aren't right. She knew that before she got there so all she is doing is understanding and being nice to him.
a lot of hate toward this interviewer but in fact I give him a lot of credit.....this woman is not easy to interview. And he handled the awkwardness quite well if you ask me.
I want to interview her. Because I want to see how I'd do with her. I don't have any hateful feelings toward her but I know she has answered the same questions over and over and....I dunno I guess I just want to see if she'd like me. For no other reason than I'm curious. lol
a professional interviewer should be able to handle awkward interviewees. this guy is incompetent; hes leaving far too many silences/struggling to come up with followup questions promptly
Watching this makes me have a whole new respect for Nardwuar’s interview style. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him even come close to such an awkward sit down with anyone, even Courtney Love.
This reminds me of when someone is on Lithium for Bipolar Disorder which many people in recovery are diagnosed with. It cause people to slur their words and be sleepy-like but that is usually when the doc hasn't leveled things out yet. This is a woman trying her best to get it together and remain professional in her artistic profession and being very raw and vulnerable and I really hope people can realize this and appreciate it. People say "get sober, get help" and sometimes this is what it looks like.
@@e11esounds exactly. she just calmly lies about not using drugs while slurring her speech. Her speech patterns are also slow. Chick has cognitive damage from too many years of overdoses and drugs.
I think that when she is saying that she's sober, she is referring to "illegal" drugs not prescription drugs. Which is bs imo....high is high. But some people think that doing prescription drugs are ok. Which is probably worse.
I love how Touré eases into the situation by asking basic questions before he starts getting into the really intense shit and I kinda love how Courtney isn’t having any of it-like not even a bite 😂
"I met Kurt and he wrestled me" -"He wrestled you?" -"Yes he wrestled me on a beer soaked floor" -moving on to the next question. Wow there are so many follow up questions here, but the interviewer just follows his list of questions slavishly. Loosen up the awkwardness a little please.
This "wrestling" story is so bizarre ! Kurt was a gentleman, at best he could have said "fuck off" to her but wrestling ?? She said Something about Kurt's former girlfriend and that's the reason why Kurt did wrestle her. That's a very logical and normal behaviour, of course, I wrestle with women in bars all the time. The last one said that she liked Guinness and that belgium beer was shit; BAM, wrestling !! Normal !
Play fighting is fun. Wrestling is sexy. I wrestled a couple of fine men on the floor of the Phoenix Bar on 13th St. until the owner asked us to stop for fear we might damage her juke box. He bought me a beer and I asked if he'd like to wresle and he did, then another joined in the fun. Call us abnormal - call it bizzare - see if we care.
the way ya’ll talk about a woman with addiction problems says a lot more about you than her lol, no need for some of these comments, “brain damage” acting as if if Kurt was still alive he wouldn’t look and act the same after years of drug abuse. “murderer” yall act if you were best pals with Kurt and know him at heart, it’s been what, 30 years? you’ll never fully know what happened to him so quit acting like he was ur best mate and get a life lol.
Her exact words in the Barbara Walters interview didn't mention anything about Medea. She said "the name of my band derives from a conversation that I had with my mother. She said Courtney, you can't walk around with a hole in yourself just because you had a bad childhood."
The interviewer's demeanor makes me think he is intimidated or unsure of how to handle Courtney, and Courtney picked up on that immediately. Courtney seems annoyed that someone much younger than she, having not done his research on her career, is asking her questions in a judgmental tone, like a prosecutor. "You're a stable person?" People, if you want someone to open up about personal things with you, make them feel special. Talk to them like you actually want to hear what they have to say. Make them feel like a person and not someone on trial.
@@theinitialscc1924 I agree with you. He's making the best of what happens when an addict is in sabotage mode. I think when you say 'she isn't in the mood' you mean she's loaded.
This interviewer was pinning a narrative about her onto her from the outset, which is why this was so awkward, doubled with the fact that he'd caught her on a bad day. I remember she did Howard Stern this same morning, and was telling him she'd been up all night crying because she'd broken up with the guy she was dating at the time.
Why is it that when a man becomes successful, he is praised, yet when a woman becomes successful, everyone thinks that a man must have had a hand it??? I ADORE this woman, and all that she stands for. She gives kids who come from shitty backgrounds, and bad circumstances, hope. People HATE the fact that she wanted something, and took it. Maybe the people she knew helped raise social awareness of her (but she would have got there by herself in the end anyway), but if she was a man, NO ONE would have said the same... Double standards which are total bullshit.
uh yaw her music isn't shiiiit. Have you heard Nobody's daughter? Great... Where do you find proofs haha of that double ticket and the other woman? Huh?
All of us "grungers" or "alt" ppl from that era, have aged. But, I think she has a certain "je ne sais pas quoi." Especially in her younger days. I'm being realistic here, I'm in the same boat. The same with Kurt. That sort of punk rock "shimmer and rott" at the same time mystic.
And vice-versa. Some of those questions were way over the line and far too personal. It’s within her rights to refuse to answer. The guy didn’t write the questions. He was probably given a script, like they all are, for the most part.
I’ve learned to dislike this guy since the whole loss of Prince. This confirms it! It’s not an awkward interview. She’s just not responding to inane questions. I like it.
When Kurt’s passing was discussed she mentioned stomach pains . I saw an interview with Kurt when he said he felt cured of that illness . She said she was always in control . Then later on in the interview when asked about a particular period around Kurt’s death she said she couldn’t remember because she was on drugs . Very convenient I thought . Such a toxic case , concerning Kurt . We just don’t know what to believe .
You should listen to a podcast called morbid, episodes 58 & 60. It's on spotify and they go into great detail about Kurts case and I think after listening to that you will know what to believe
She is very awkward to interview and very complex obviously but I think he did a very skilled job extracting as much as is just about possible. Fascinating watch.
Amy Lynn hello Amy how are you ? I’m Fernando I’m born again I saw one of your videos I still got another one to look at can I talk to you yes I believe Jesus is God He came to die for us on the cross and resurrect on the third day from the grave and us coming again
@@Fernando-gy7wd Please fuck off and take your religion with you. What does your "I am born again" bullshit have to do with anything hete? There are loads of religious videos/sites where your stupid fucking doctrine is welcomed. Someone post emoticons on your comment and now all of a sudden needs to hear your revelations. I am blunt, yes but it is needed.
Courtney seems to have a rather masterful command of the English language. Some of the words she used eg melodicism, mercurial etc. Clearly she's smarter than she comes across at first glance.
Watch the sit down interview between her and Carrie Fisher, she'll blow your pants off with how well read she is and her linguistic prowess. Actually it was that interview that gave me a renewed sense of appreciation for her.
I have this love/hate for her. I love and admire her and how she doesn't hold anything back and gets and does what she wants. But she kinda revolts me at the same time and I can spot the parts where she's fake, not always in a bad way but where she's faking herself through a situation to deal with it. I see so much of myself in her and that's probably where the hate comes from if I'm honest
So the high probability that she had Kurt killed and very likely had or at least knew about Kristen Pfaff being offed doesn't revolt you in the slightest?
You have got to be kidding me. I think you can definitely find better people to admire. Do some research. She is a manipulative, horrible excuse of a human being.
What are you talking about?? Courtney LOVED(s) the attention!! Shed call paparazzi herself just to get something out about her!! Whether it was negative or positive she wanted to be noticed to gain her publicity and wanted more fans for her stupid band. She even tried taking nirvana fans. She is so evil.
Laura Hamilton Agreed. If you listen to the tapes from Soaked in Bleach, where Tom Grant is recording her, she gets all excited talking about how Kurt’s disappearance is good publicity and how she has a record coming out soon etc. “How’s that for a spin?” She doesn’t show one fucking ounce of empathy, only greed and vanity.
Why did the interviewer had this whole beneath me attitude with Courtney? Like he was laughing down at her. I have seen interviews where she is really nice and smooth when the interviewers are nice back at her. She is actually very smart.
That was a difficult and very good interview by both of them. It transcended celebrity culture to examine things and ideas that affect many people. Hats off.
I thought the idea that she had Kurt Cobain killed was silly---until I watched _Soaked in Bleach_. Even her own attorney seemed to suspect her, haha. And Courtney Love's own father has called her 'a sociopath.'
I thought the idea of taking a mudslinging piece of hearsay as serious was silly -- but Einstein has said that stupidity is infinite. Well then let's trust a lawyer that has probably some personal agenda, a clueless "investigator" and a father whose influence and quality was probably 50% of the inspiration for the anger of Pretty on the inside (the other half being her mother). Her only big mistake was allowing that producer to fuck with the lineup, the sound and ultimately the band itself on Celebrity Skin.
Wow, you're quoting Einstein, so you _must_ be intelligent, right? And you think _Soaked in Bleach_ is just "mud-slinging"? Well some of that mud seems pretty hard to wipe off, including the practice-handwriting samples found in Love's backpack, the fact that Cobain was going to divorce her and her fan-base would disappear, Courtney caught lying by the very investigator who was working for her, etc. "let's trust a lawyer that probably has some personal agenda"---so when Courtney & Kurt's own entertainment lawyer is caught on tape suspecting Courtney, you assume it must be some nebulous "personal agenda" (which you don't describe or explain, just speculate on)? And if _Soaked in Bleach_ was such mud-slinging, why hasn't Courtney taken Tom Grant to court? Because she can't challenge the facts he presents, and would rather have it just blow over. "Betting against me is not a good move, because I tend to get what I want." -Courtney in this very interview.
ModernPlague Oh honey please. Courtney hasnt taken Tom Grant to court for the obvious reason you would know if you were an adult person: clever mudsinging is put in a way that the court is hard to prove. Correlation, hearsay, and "supposed" opinions. If you grow up you will learn that ALL lawyers, especially celebrity lawyers, have their own agenda. And i put in a generic way so that no legal action will come against me. Grow up, kid, this is a cruel, capitalist world and few survive. From that angel, I can totally relate to Kurt's decision but I most certainly clap on Courtney's decision to live and survive and triumph over irrelevant bitches like your sorry ass. Ta-ta.
You call me a child and mention mud-slinging, yet you are the one slinging empty, teen-ager slang and immature name-calling. It's desperate, sycophantic behavior in defense of the talentless, drug-addled mess that is Courtney Love, who was about to be publicly exposed as a liar & a sham & an unfaithful wretch once Kurt divorced her and left her with nothing. The fans would've sided with him, and detested her. What is her lawyer's (the one caught on tape suspecting Courtney) supposed "motive" that you allude to, pray tell? And how do you explain the practice samples of handwriting in Courtney's backpack, matching those last, anomalous lines of Kurt's "suicide' note that say, "Please keep going Courtney", as if Kurt still believed in her and supported her! A self-serving lie from the woman found with such practiced fake hand-writing in her back-pack, who stood to gain MILLIONS & hero-status from the way Kurt died, the same woman who says in this video that she gets what she wants. But she was so drug-addled & stupid that by trying to stage her concern for the supposedly 'missing' Kurt, she was hiring an investigator who would catch her in her own lies & end up calling her on it. Funny that people think someone like Tom Grant would scheme all this for a few bucks, but that someone like Courtney would never scheme for MEGA-wealth and fame.
She embraces her shadow really well and It rubs people the wrong way because they loved Kurt so much..I don't think she is so dishonest like people say she knows the media is gonna portray her In a certain way so she doesn't disappoint...it keeps her relevant. she is definitely a person people love to hate but still a person who deserves love. what a conundrum she is named love but constantly hated.... And at the same time her sadness makes her beautiful
This interview might not be the most collected one of her, but it is real. I admire her and her work, I think she has some great takes on femininity and sexuality in her art. She is a survivor for sure.
Your exactly right! Plus she jumped on Kurt and acted crazy wrestling him. He didn't have that type of demeanor to just jump on a lady. He was shy. Anyone that knew him , knew this.
@Michstar Eve coz she knows the truth and all the details! After a sleepless night, that gulp of "coffee" it just slipped away, kinda awful tho and then all of a sudden she is rushing it,has a "sudden personal issue",so obvious she f*cked up and trying to escape
I’m all for advocating for awkward people, and those misunderstood overall. But I’ve read this book, and Courtney is not a super intelligent misunderstood person. She’s a junkie with a junkies selfish outlook and based on this interview it’s clear she’s not gonna change. Very unlikely she would still be as relevant if Kurt wasn’t involved
Oh I don't under estimate her intelligence but she's a malignant narcissist. Dangerous. She claims to be a feminist also but tears down every woman she comes in contact with except Drew Barrymore which she used to get movie roles. She's supposed to be Francis' godmother but Francis hasn't seen her in many years she has said. Her own daughter wants her out of her life.
In one of her earlier interviews with Barbara Walters, Courtney said that after her pregnancy she stayed clean from drugs, and insisted that she doesn't do them anymore, and that it was only Kurt who used. But then, when this interviewer asks her about how she mourned Kurt's death at the time, she says she's been too doped up to remember. A lie. She also conveniently leaft out the fact that after Kurt's death she went on tour where she simulated Kurt's death on stage (talked about in the Barbara interview) multiple times.
Just watched "Soaked in Bleach" Wow! Kurt did not commit suicide - He was in the process of leaving her and file for divorce. He didm't make it to his Lawyers office to take her out of his will..
13:54 She claims to know the exact day he died and know precisely where she was and that the cops came up to her room and arrested her at the Peninsula Hotel. That's because she staged that arrest so that she would have an alibi. Her attorney at the time, Rosemary Carroll found a note in a bag Courtney left at her house that said "Get arrested" it was sort of a checklist note as if it were things she was actually planning to do. And sure enough, on April 7th, the day before Kurt's body was found, she got herself arrested and she had her air-tight alibi.
Fernando Nobody knew it at the time, but it's since been proven that Kurt was planning on divorcing her and she would have been left with a very little since she had them sign a prenuptial agreement when they got married because, at the time, she was worth more than KC and her band just got signed to Geffen and Nirvana had not blown up yet. Fast forward 2 years later, after Nevermind came out, Kurt was worth millions and was being called the voice of a generation. And he was about to end the marriage and leave that miserable bitch. This was right before her new album was about to drop and Kurt was the biggest rock star in the world at the time. Being severed from all the success and riches that Nirvana was bringing in would have devastated her career. After his death, every magazine and radio show in the world wanted to talk to her. From Barbara Walters to Howard Stern. Everybody was talking about the tragic rock-n-roll widow of the tortured poet, Kurt Cobain. And of course, the album became an instant legend, having been released the month after Kurt's death.
@@stevenbaum6555 It hasnt been proven he wanted a divorce since there was no paperwork. He talked about her like this in his last interview: www.livenirvana.com/interviews/9402cc/index.php
So apparently the well respected private detective is lying and somehow faked all these faked tapes of her getting caught in lie after lie to him? She's lying about everything she's saying here. Plus she's clearly slurring her words here and is fried.
She’s wrong, I’m the widow of a suicide and I got no blame because everyone knew I loved and tried my best to save my husband, she’s so detached how she speaks about grief
"Well obviously you didn't try hard enough".... Is what ppl would say if you were famous and your deceased husband was beloved by the world and killed himself while married to you.
I’m truly sorry for your loss. But I respectfully disagree that as an absolute statement that “widows are blamed more than widowers of suicide”, I think CL has a very good and personal point. Obviously there are exceptions to every blanket statement. I’m sure there are more examples, but Joan Rivers spent years making a come back in her career due to her husbands suicide. And at that time many people in the press (and for a moment, even her own daughter), blamed her. 24 years ago a close relative of mine killed himself and the ones closest to him at that time were initially comforted, as time has passed, they’ve all been criticized to some extent for “allowing” him, or “pushing” him, or “not caring enough” for him. It’s sick and twisted, but sadly it does happen. Take solace in your own experience, and less presumptive of others.
No offense, (i know time to get ready 2b offended) but you're not famous. She's speaking about a public who idolized her husband (whom was not her longest relationship, though only marriage from what i know) who tragically killed himself. I hope you are well. Im that guy too.
@@spookylonely for the love of God he was already a drug addict and suffered depression. How did she "kill" him? Are we going by real evidence or hearsay? I've read all I could find and I've found no proof she killed him so who is your source.
Yikes.. awkward. But for anyone saying she's on shit, the woman has no filter and clearly said she's sober. She started the interview saying she hadn't slept at all. Didn't say how long it had been either since she did sleep. I have terrible sleep disorders that keep me awake too, and I can relate to this interview. Show up and do what needs to be done, and then crash.... everybody leave me the fuck alone. She's exhausted. She's not on drugs or coming down from them. She's manic from no sleep. This is me, more often than I'd care to admit.
I love her. She is no bs, no kissing up to anyone, no lowering herself to fit with other people, no trying to come off as something she is not, just speaking her mind and stuff. I think we just aren’t used to seeing women be like that. When Quentin Tarantino or some dude acts this way people find it not as offensive. She also has an asd diagnosis which I could imagine might make her come off as blunt and rude, but as someone with the same diagnosis I can relate a bunch. Glad she’s been much more healthy (:
After using substances and partying for so many years it begins to take a permanent toll on the body both physically and psychologically. Don't be so quick to judge a book by its cover or jump to conclusions. So she actually may be sober for all we know. Oh and by the way if controlled substances are taken as perscribed you shouldn't experience euphoria because the the body would be use to that substance being consumed in the same amount, daily. Benzos on the other hand are usually perscribed on an as needed basis their fore they could possibly cause some euphoria depending on how much that individual is taking those benzos.
1:02 this has to be the most awkward forced laugh I’ve ever heard and it’s hilarious It’s like it’s meant to sound that way on purpose but I think the interviewer genuinely just wants to get out of there haha how he turns it into an okay at the end as well is priceless
The interviewer was clearly looking down on her and saw her as a joke and not as a person and artist. All of us go through things and music at times helps people define, relate and release emotions that are hard to come out. Courtney bares her emotions and pain in her music. Those who may go through some what of the same things can realize they're not alone and in that the healing process begins. God Bless
Courtney Love faked the moonlandings and orchestrated the 911 attacks and may have also been responsible for the global financial crisis of 2008, but her philosophical comments about life, 'this day forward', when the credits rolled were very poignant and accurate. I liked 'em.
Courtney I met you in 94 at the lemonheads show at the palace. You got me and my friends backstage after the show. You were super super cool to us that night. Thank you for that.
She wasn't awkward. The interviewer wasn't awkward either. He was conducting a very intellectually deep interview, and she was taking it seriously. Courtney Personaliy #42 came out of her. It was fascinating. She can play a thousand roles in her head. And her best stuff, like "Live Through This" is cooler than Nirvana or Dave Grohl. Listen to the album.
@@Snazzypostcard_4 I don't think she does. However she looks and acts like someone who says something and then switches it up because she thinks about it for a second. Her movement's seem more like someone who's coping with stress and lack of sleep. Just my opinion of course. She could talk easily and still come across easy to understand which typically is not the case with someone strung out.
When she says don't bet against me she is talking about all of you, who are so quick to judge and shoot your mouths off, as the press has done. She is saying that she has proven herself as a musician, as an actress, and been psychological steel against all these critics as well as creating her art and dealing with grief. You all have just enough balls to throw a little insult at her, but she has a lot more and keeps coming back standing tall. She has something none of you have, she gets that and is at peace with it. And she is pretty, and funny too. How can you not admire that, if you get it.
She is still standing when many other people from that generation including her husband are not she got guts and the scars she deserves to be treated for her talent and survival i can't help but admire her many good qualities.
Standing tall? She's not 5'11", I assure u that as a 5'11" woman...my lowest weight was 130 lbs I looked like a skeleton. Impossible ....literally. to be . 101 lbs as she stated. Impossible.
Anyone else notice she says at one point when talking about her "strange" arrest in LA "it was the day that Kurt died.." Very mater of factly ..Then pauses briefly blinks heavily and says ".. Well I'm positive it was the day he died ,"giving the impression that it was just a gut feeling ..Nobody except Kurt would really know the EXACT day he died in the span of his last missing days.Yes the official report says the 5th ,but that can be off by a day or so ..and it wouldn't sound so bad if she was referring to April 5th just because that's the day we've all come to think of it being as ..but if I followed this tense interview correctly ? the day she referred to was the 7th ?! The day before he was actually found ..and also the day some believe she was busy building her alibi . I tend to usually stray away from this unthinkable topic but between the taped Rosemary Carol conversation , and now noticing this ? I just don't know .it seems so goddamn awful
Yes we will prob never find out and we need to keep in mind that we are not sure. It def are scary interesting theories with more then just a couple dots that can be connected. And when going on about it it could even be something alot bigger. But we dont know 100%. Btw i saw the documentairy 'soaked in bleach' today, its about the claims making her possibly guilthy. Its on UA-cam
@Jay McDanieL i do. I dont trust her is my opinion. But to be have a critical opinion you need to keep a little doubt. Tunnervision isnt working well truthwise. Most people are fighting because they are so sure about the own greatness i think. When people have a bit more doubt the own opinions, there would be less drama going on. I had a bad feeling about courtney, specially after documentary 'soaked in bleach ', but now Im the truth expert? No. I WASNT THERE. YOU WERE NOT. Theres no 100% proof. But I just THINK she did it bcause alot things made her look guilthy. They should have reopened the case and they did make the suïcide conclusion too soon. They didnt even test for fingerprints on the bullets and wapon. Or lots of things they didnt. People jump into conclusions and only are accepting the things what already match up, also some police. And you're telling me to not speak says more about you then me
@Jay McDanieL i will try to put it different, because I see you said it slightly different. No but the investigators jumped into conclusions "suïcide" way too fast too. No search for fingerprint on bullets nothing. Its never really searched well. The worst part is the way they handled it and closed the case. But on internet people all feel like they are the ones who secretly did found dna or found the hidden camera. The investigators are too blame, not sure if reopening could still be effective But I think its good that there are documentary to show suspicious guilthy looking ignored happenings. Because its not fair to only show the suïcide story as the truth. They should have been more open about the investigation in bizar cases. Maybe they did want to close the case what is unfair and very wrong. And no of course not, its also good to have doubt in another ones conclusion and of course you want your doubts about their conclusions be pointed out and investigated. Totally agree
@Jay McDanieL well yea if they accept the not knowing and think it doesnt matter to let it be further invastigated or not is horrible and mostly the reason why its so easy for the police and/or mainstream media to come away with their story because some people just buy anything they hear, specially when 'the police' or ', the 'tv newsreporter' say so. Alot of people see everything else said as fake. But why would I let a tv newsprogram deside what information I should only listen too. Theres alot of things bothering me about the way mainstream media and authorities are influenting peoples thinking. I hope theres still some way to clear it all up ones and for all
Courtney suffers from Abandanment issues and may be bi-polar too AND has self-medicating to cope w her issues !! Before ppl label and critisize Courtney, they need to suffer w the same issues and see how they cope !! Courtney is a "life-warrior" !!
Sadder Than You Exactly. She frequently gets caught in print or video, in lies or contradiction. She said so very much in this interview. Ppl mistakenly see her as a victim or tragic and she knows it and uses it to her advantage. Contrary to most opinions, I don’t think she’s high here. I think she’s revealing too much of her natural self that ppl aren’t used to seeing. She knows this guy is a fan, ppl think he was being rude, but she knows she doesn’t have to win him over and could care less. Her ire for Kurt and the hero worshipping of him is annoying to her and even kissing her off. However she can’t act upon it bc she knows how badly she’ll come off.
I love this interview... it is weird and hard... it seems very very Hole! Raw, real, and hard to watch but... more real than most interviews that I have ever seen.
It's sickens me to have heard that in Courtney's backpack was itinerary in her handwriting and part of the itinerary was to make sure she gets arrested prior or during Kurt's passing and if any of that stuff is true it almost points the finger directly at Courtney for the killing of Mr Cobain there's so many things that almost seal her fate as the prime perpetrator instigator organizer you name it this girl was the reason why Kurt is no longer amongst the living
Look up The El Duce interview... he literally said Courtney offered to pay him 50k to kill Kurt.. 2 days after he gave the interview he was found with no head by the traintracks Then look up Allen wrench, the guy guilty of killing both Kurt and duce
She slipped up when she said "the day he died" "or the day I'm sure he died" she wouldn't have known at the time what day he died!! Also she's lying about getting arrested, she planted that story in the media, these are facts!!..
"Not sleeping", showing up clearly either too tired or affected to have a proper interview, a part of me wishes the interviewer would have just stood up with "Your behavior shows a lot of disrespect for my crew's time and patience. Please reschedule with my people when you've had a good night sleep and are ready to behave like an adult and a professional. Thank you."
Donald Trump claims he's a very stable genious. If you feel you have to tell people these things, you'e not. It only works in the negative. "I'm unstable and a mess!" 'We know'.
Notice she says, without skipping a beat, ''the day he died', and then catches/corrects herself; because she shouldn't know that, right? That vocal minority is growing, and as more people look into it eventually will become a roar. She can't even be consistent about how she named her band, now it's a lyric from Euripides 'Medea', years ago it was something her mother said. Sad.
Well spotted. I defy any disinterested person to look at the details of Kurt’s death and not believe it was murder. Her defenders are getting shriller and more ridiculous to boot.
While i too have suspicions about Kurt's demise, I read about the Medea thing in an interview during the 90's. As far as I know she's always been consistent about that.
I mean, to be fair, her mother could have been quoting Euripides.. My mother used to quote Doris Day: Que Sera, Sera. Sometimes I reference my mother when quoting that, and sometimes I don't. Same with Thomas Wolf and my dad.
@@zoeevans6410 If Courtney killed Kurt then why did she save him from the overdose in Rome? She and many others had to bring Kurt back to life because he always used too much, enough to worry other users. Courtney carried Narcan in her purse. He almost overdosed right before a show. If she wanted him dead she could just NOT have done anything and let him die, which would be easy and not this outlandish conspiracy theory people try to push. I can discredit every piece of "evidence" put out there. Kurt got Dillon to buy him the gun and bullets days prior because the police took his other guns on another occasion because he locked himself in the bathroom with guns saying he was going to kill himself. There's the police report from it online.
To be honest I think that she is being quite deffensive and gets triggered about any question involving Kurt or Nirvana...I wouldnt call that being in control, more PTSD kinda thing
Wait, are you saying she’s not honest about her sobriety? I’m just curious. She seems like she’s constantly in and out of sobriety, goes thru periods of indulging and then not. BUT I don’t know her so how would I know. It’s just the perception I get.
@@thatpickingguy Yeah, that makes sense: Wear a red dress the day you kill your husband when your alibi is you weren't there. Lol. Wives and mothers and the other woman are responsible every time a man comes into misfortune, obviously.
Her attorney even said the note's few lines were her handwriting. She had a service man come to the house to specifically find Kurt. Seattle cops need to arrest her. Her attorney won't help her.
Why is everyone being so awful to her? If I knew I had a personal interview and the world had a harsh view of me, I wouldn't sleep the night before either... she seems like any normal woman who didn't sleep the entire night and is tired.
Yes, Yes.
This is like interrogation like she always gets. She hates it. The guy is genuine, an loves Courtney, and is and embarassd that the producers make him ask these stupid questions he knows aren't right. She knew that before she got there so all she is doing is understanding and being nice to him.
Her dad had his rights "taken away" at 3 years old. It's molestation is the way I read it. She's been through the ringer and still standing, bravo.

One of the most awkward carcrash interviews I've seen, but for that reason, one of the most entertaining.
She should know about car crashes and so should her assistants.
“yeah”. she wasn’t pandering to this interview technique of using pauses and silence to get the interviewee to ramble.

She's probably just psycho. No drugs needed.
Her main addiction was prescription opiates at one point so I don’t think she meant only clean off illegal drugs
"You're a stable person?"
People, if you want someone to open up about personal things with you, make them feel special. Talk to them like you actually want to hear what they have to say. Make them feel like a person and not someone on trial.

Touré is great. Super smart. He writes; I’ve read a bunch of his pieces in Rolling Stone. All of them very well done

ModernPlague "layer of words signifing nothing..."

Steven Baum why would she want him to die ?
Was he ritual sacrifice she was involved with?
Lily 11 so true!! You don’t have to be married to feel the grief & loss!!
Everybody handles grief differently. You should know that. There’s no “wrong”.
Courtney: I’m stable and there for everyone I love.
Also Courtney: Ditched Kurt in his birthday to go see the smashing pumpkins.

She may be off street drugs, but she def on prescription drugs!

Yeah 😢
She prob doesn’t count benzo’s😂
Yikes..
Nope don’t think the bitch will ever get sober.
Lmao! This chick is FAR from sober. One good look at her from anybody with experience in the field can tell you she's high.
If this is you then I guess you’re a lying psychopathic murderer who has never been sober
Same.
She says shes sober in every interview...
Glad she’s been much more healthy (:
did she say she has asd ?
OH your dog is the cutest
Best interview of Courtney ever.
This interview has some Eric Andre's flavour...
the part where she says Kurt was a pig and she goes 'I'm a pig too' and smiles.. melts my heart.
Benzos don't give me euphoria. Just make me feel drunk
1:02 this has to be the most awkward forced laugh I’ve ever heard and it’s hilarious
It’s like it’s meant to sound that way on purpose but I think the interviewer genuinely just wants to get out of there haha how he turns it into an okay at the end as well is priceless
God Bless

She wasn't awkward. The interviewer wasn't awkward either. He was conducting a very intellectually deep interview, and she was taking it seriously. Courtney Personaliy #42 came out of her. @@Snazzypostcard_4 I don't think she does. However she looks and acts like someone who says something and then switches it up because she thinks about it for a second. Thanks! Love her!
Amen.
Exactly.
Impossible.
If the interviewer had done his research he would know the answer to like 80% of these questions
I'd thumbs up you 100 more times if I could
Yes we will prob never find out and we need to keep in mind that we are not sure.
I hope theres still some way to clear it all up ones and for all
I think her true character came out at the end when she said "Sorry but I'm out of time. Is that ok? No, but ya, you're going to put up with it"..
Courtney suffers from Abandanment issues and may be bi-polar too AND has self-medicating to cope w her issues !! Before ppl label and critisize Courtney, they need to suffer w the same issues and see how they cope !! Courtney is a "life-warrior" !!
@Motivated Speakers where’s your proof?
She's obviously lying here. There are tapes from 1994 where she admits (not knowing she is being recorded) that the whole arrest was staged.
She's always lying. Every single word coming from her mouth is a lie

Look up The El Duce interview... he literally said Courtney offered to pay him 50k to kill Kurt.. 2 days after he gave the interview he was found with no head by the traintracks
Then look up Allen wrench, the guy guilty of killing both Kurt and duce
I'm sure it was all planned out so she would have an alibi?
She slipped up when she said "the day he died" "or the day I'm sure he died" she wouldn't have known at the time what day he died!! Also she's lying about getting arrested, she planted that story in the media, these are facts!!..
@@roscoe4092 yes these are facts. El Duce even took a polygraph that he passed when he was asked about Courtney offering him $50,000 to kill Kurt.

Couldn’t agree more.
"I'm an incredibly stable person" wow is that a load or what lol

@baby bird because she’s a psychotic drug addict. He was simply amazed that she chose to call herself stable
Donald Trump claims he's a very stable genious. If you feel you have to tell people these things, you'e not. It only works in the negative. "I'm unstable and a mess!" 'We know'.
So is everything else she’s said!!!! She would never say too much bad about Eric because he knows about her murders, he killed Kristen for Cuntney!
but she is? she said she always shows up and she always did it.
Yep. If her mouth is moving, she's lying.
