A few things to note: Pico is smaller than Nano, 3 orders of magnitude smaller which is pretty wild. Also, that's not Iron Man at the end, but Tony Stark Iron Lad. In this universe, Tony's father Howard Stark was Iron Man. Tony is actually MUCH younger than Peter in this universe as well, being in his late teens, I believe. I highly recommend going back and finding and reading Hickman's Ultimate invasion and Ultimate Universe #1 which precede Ultimate Spider-Man #1. Also, read Deniz Camp's The Ultimates series which ties in heavily with Ultimate Spider-Man. Reading Order: Ultimate Invasion 1-4 Ultimate Universe 1 Ultimate Spider-Man 1-6 The Ultimates #1 Ultimate Spider-Man #7 I'm also reading Ultimate Black Panther and Ultimate X-men, which are good, but not as tied into Ultimate Spider-Man.
@mnstash no problem! You'll definitely get a better appreciation for USM with Ultimates under your belt. And for real, I just read Ultimates #3 and this book is fantastic. Might be an all timer.
Hot take I think Peter’s wearing the symbol suit and he doesn’t know it. Look at the paneling for the AI. It’s black with white highlights. The only other comic they do that for is venom.
I wouldn't mind that idea considering it puts the stuff worth reading for the real fans at the forefront! especially considering marvel and dc have been pandering to the other crowd for ages now
@@mnstash Sorry I meant 6160 lol my bad. And don't remind me about how DC utterly BOTCHED Batman's wedding too. That's another thing that makes my blood boil.
This felt like a calm after the storm kinda issue... After the first arc nkw they're just picking up pieces and preparing for what's coming next. We get to relax and enjoy them juat getting to know each and learning more about themselves. Daddy issues of Harry hinted with he needs therapy. And is Otto cooking something for himself with Peter's sample he got. The plot thickens
@MNstash This has been an amazing experience reading this run. I’ve loved every single issue with no complaints, and it was great to see the steps leading towards the downfall of certain characters. Like Harry implementing an A.I of Norman Osborn, and having it already effect his personal insecurities. Depending on where they’ll take Harry’s path as the Green Goblin, I can see him becoming quite unstable, the more his “Father” agitates him in his mind. I like that the picotech suits were in a safe mode, it’s cool to see that they’ve now been activated to be more adaptable to their users along with their efficiency to their surroundings. I love seeing this black bubble representing Peter’s A.I. I remember thinking to myself when issue 3 came out that it could be a foreshadow to Venom. With this interpretation being potentially formed through nanotechnology, it is a very interesting concept. But it’s also great to see it having a level of arrogance carried through Peter’s brain patterns as he adapts to his suit’s capabilities. It’s just amazing to see that his inner monologue will be presented through his relationship with the A.I. But with the setup with Fisk and his creation of the Sinister Six, Ben and JJJ’s clandestine relationship with Robbie, Otto’s foreshadowing towards his path as Doc Ock, and MJ and Gwen’s developing relationship. I couldn’t be more excited and happy for what’s to come.
Another great critique and review. I agree 100% that "USM" is THE Spider-Man comic to follow. I hope Hickman continues to write a good spidey storyline and doesn't change direction or does what Weisman is doing with "The Spectacular Spider-Men (TSSM)". Another comic not worth reading, IMO. The key to continuous Improvement is acknowledging you made an error and posting a comment on your UA-cam Channel correcting that error. That's the key to growth and maturity. Many UA-cam channels not only don't conduct research when producing their videos, but won't go back and correct their errors, be it the History of the character, how to actually pronounce the actor or the character's name the actor is portraying, or just completely ignorant that they made an error. Keep up the excellent work. When Kelly and Ireland take over, and if "USM" is still proceeding with good/great storylines, "USM" will probably be the comic you'll focus on more than the atrocious "ASM". Cheers.
I'm in awe of how well this series has been so far! if only these 2 were in charge of asm we'd have a serious contender for one of the great runs of spider-man if marvel gave them that spot and freedom! at least we got this book! its the only modern spider-man comic ive bought in ages and it seems like it'll stay that way! im glad youre enjoying the uploads :) im planning looking at spider-man 2 the movie game next to change things up a little!
Thats not kraven, its captain britan. Some of the things they are talking about are the events of ultimates #1. You should read that series(and maybe the other ultimate books too) since they are hyperconnected

I am so sad that I wasn’t able to pick this issue up. When I got to my local comic book shop, all the Ultimate Spider-Man #7s were gone! 😭 I really love how Johnathan Hickman is building up the Ultimate Universe’s symbiotes, and I can’t wait to see how this affects Peter later down the line. Perhaps the black suit could make a return, except this time, with a the classic white spider logo. I am really excited to see how Venom is displayed this time around, which makes me even more hyped for the inevitable “Ultimate Venom” arc!!! This also has me thinking as to how other symbiotes, especially Carnage, are going to be done in the new Ultimate Universe, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Okay so I've said this one before but what are your thoughts on the Spider-Man Life Story Annual issue in which it delves into J jonah Jameson's unhealthy obsession over Spider-Man personally destroyed every relationship he's had with someone he cared for and how that sickening fixated behavior proves to be his undoing as he gets arrested for one particular reason being involved with Scorpion's creation and unfortunate pain he put him through because of his unwarranted crusade against Spider-Man and that how it ultimately doomed any semblance of a normal life he could've have had he not let his thoughts on Spider-Man get the better of him then once he gets released for jail he gets tempted by his deceased friend and cellmate Norman Osborn into personally continuing his personal vendetta until he dies from that but rather than holding on to it for too long given he is too old and weak now he decides to fix the error of his ways finally seeing he was wrong about him and he did the absolute worst because of it so after his intense fight with the monster he made but ignored for his because of his bad behaviour getting the better of him over Spider-Man he unfortunately dies after seeing he brought himself back to the place he started his crusade on in the first place he's heart suddenly gave up on him killing him instantly from that shock he dies all alone with a final apology to his lips for all the faults he made himself and to Spider-Man in particular seeing now that he is his own enemy not Spider-Man at all now dies alone hating himself for what he did to him though it is implied he knows he did wrong to him and himself so what do you think of this will it be canonized someday in a similar story because I hoped this becomes an ending to his story in the books though tell me?
what theres certainly a lot to take in from the question but I do like when they actually explore the depths of Jameson and his actions, especially with the way the affect himself mentally and those around him. I wouldn't want him to have such a grim fate but something that really focuses on how his actions are perceived, a good psychological story
@@mnstash Indeed certainly a deconstruction of the old story of him and scorpion on how clearly his actions have ramifications over what he did wrong in the first place yeah I don't really care much about him and I have a feeling he might die soon in the comics just because I am really sorry if I said that but that is true man I want him gone soon asap

Captain Britain is popping up all over this new universe, hes like the 2nd in command of The Maker's crew and its weird how fun he is here because Captain Britain usually SUCKS
From how things are looking. It would seem the best course of action for Marvel going forward would be to split its writing and creative teams between the two universes. With one being made by comic fans for comic fans, taking the characters to new heights and giving the characters we all know and love the respect and effot they deserve. While the other line being for the agenda pushers and DEI hires. That online Marvel Unlimited web series would be the perfect place for them, as those comics seem to be dedicated to those people. After all, anyone who's seen those Marvel Voices or that new Avengers Academy issue is chock full of that ideology garbage. Leave the main continuity for the comic fans who actually invest in the characters and stories. Tell good stories like this one and stop trying to replace what works. I know the phrase "have your cake and eat it too" isnt well regarded. But in this case its the best middle ground. Plus, webcomics are surely cheaper to make and might give Marvel the wake-up call it needs to know what sells.
