For me, Mary-Jane/Jackpot is so Out of Character with the MJ I know and love, she has to be an Imposter. She breaks up with Paul, ok fine but MJ still CHOSE him over Peter 11 MONTHS in her 4 year exile, then treated him like crap for close to year. MJ is always going to be tainted with the stain of Paul, she's never going to be trusted. This shit has be to retconned, the REAL Mary-Jane is safely in dimensional cocoon waiting to be freed.

Going with this story, I think Mary Jane should reflect on why she started this relationship in the first place and realize that she was alone except for Paul and the kids. She had missed Peter and her home and so latched onto the only other living things in that world. When they came back, that attachment remained, and she felt that now there was no going back, especially with Peter. I would also have her feel exceptionally guilty for her treatment of him. She effectively cheated on Peter, ignored him, and acted cruelly toward him for months when he had risked everything to save her, and she felt awful. However, this ignited her resolve to try to make things right with him. I wouldn't have them immediately jump back into a relationship even after she dumps Paul and makes up with Peter, because she was cruel to him and he hasn't forgotten that and he's dating Shae now and genuinely likes her.

You're forgetting the superpowers in all of this. Dillan is not a stranger to the hardships of powers. He can express the issue that Spiderman has in very clear terms. Peter is having a hard time balancing normal life with life-threating issues daily and Dillan can yell at MJ how selfish she was to breakup with Peter after all he did to save her. Life/work drama and the importance of adult choices would be a good arc.

Okay sorry to break it to you but this does not work in any way you know why because MJ would not be like her sister and mom she would in fact be worse than her sister and mom because at the very least MJ’s mom and sister were actually faithful to their partners until they showed their true colors what made MJ not make that mistake was because she married someone she was deeply in love with and who was deeply in love with her and that’s why Peter and MJ worked out whereas her mom and dad didn’t and her sister and her sister’s husband didn’t so if it was revealed she became like her mom and sister it would feel empty and it would just ruin her more and it would make her look stupid as she knows Paul helped commit genocide and still chose him but decides to leave him because he yelled at Dylan no it doesn’t work MJ would never have given up on Peter or cheated on him this fixes nothing as her character is still ruined forever you wanna know how to fix this reveal this MJ is a fake and not the real one reveal Paul is either Rabin or just some guy trying to be a villain and made a fake MJ to fuck with Peter and hid the real MJ boom fixed her character saved and she can be salvaged and back to what she’s best at looks like you didn’t do your own research either be better next time

Paul was literally the reason his own universe got destroyed he knew his father was crazy and yet still helped turned a blind eye to his evil plan and also Paul is traumatized by the death of a coworker that his father killed and tracked down the main 616 version of that coworker and swears to help him cure his. Great job man on this great video man on how marvel could save Mary jane Watson parker as a character, as for my pitch I personally for me would get rid of paul and have him go away and never come back and as for mary jane basically she realizes that this man is a monster and needs to be stopped which basically causes mary jane to realizes she made a mistake and finds peter parker she's sorry and they both accept each other for what they are great people and a great married couple. Which opens the door for Mary jane to lose the jackpot powers obliviously and the second thing I do is have Peter parker and mary jane remember everything they lost find mephisto who has their daughter mayday parker spider-girl captured and and the parker family has to save their daughter no matter what it takes, Which to make a long story results in all three parkers finally defeating mephisto and results in Peter parker and mary jane reality being reset back to pre one more day which has Peter parker and mary jane married but also a bonus we have MJ be pregnant with Peter's child mayday parker the future spider-girl. After that we cut 6 months later with Peter parker being with his wife Mary jane who gives birth to basically two kids Mayday parker their daughter who becomes the future spider-girl and benjy parker her brother who like her sister also has spider-powers and all 4 parker's get to live as a great happy family together. Now as for future storylines basically we take the whole ultimate Spider-Man stuff happening but transplant that stuff into main 616 universe but also a bonus we have aunt may actually gone and before she passes away she gives Peter parker and Mary jane her blessing and has Peter parker finally move on and grow up and be a great father and a great parent to his kids and to his wife Mary jane which would be really awesome and badass in my opinion.

They COULD do lots of things to save the book....but they WONT. My dream senerio is its revealed Paul is actualy Mephesto continuing to fuck w Peter's life. Jackpot isnt really MJ ,she's a clone (the Jackal is working with Mephesto as part of a deal to bring Gwen back) , the real MJ is in stasis and has been since OMD as that was her secret part in the deal with Mephesto. Osborn, finally truely rid of the influence of the goblin reveals to Peter that he kidnapped Peter and MJ's daughter when she was born (there was no stillbirth) and May (mayday) parker is introduced into the 616. This knowledge of a child with MJ lifts Mephesto's spell from OMD, MJ is out of stasis and Peter and her get back together and begin to figure out how to raise a family and come to terms with all thats happened. Obviously along the way theres fight scenes and rescues, plots and betrayals, but thats the short version of how to fix this fucking mess this book has turned into.

Short answer: Reboot the Spider-Man books back to pre-OMD and move on from there. Just erase everything, all the damage caused by Dan Slott, Zeb Wells, and even Nick Spencer. No more useless side characters like Silk, Spider-Boy, or the Mockingbird. No more dumb concepts like the Spiderverse (seriously those comics are beyond awful), Parker Industries, or Gang War. Just go back to Peter being a street-level crimefighter struggling to balance out the duties of a loving husband and superhero while being married to a hot supermodel.
