Thank you so much for doing this tutorial! You made it so simple! I tried to figure this out myself and had the hardest time. I looked up UA-cam videos on it and watched the wrong tutorial I think, she didn’t simply this as much as you did so I just kept going in circles until I found your tutorial. This is amazing and I can finally finish the pattern I was working on, thank you!!!

Thanks so much for this video. I just ripped out many inches of a scarf that went from the width I wanted to a very narrow strip. There was no way to sew the different widths together to make an infinity scarf and it was too far off to block into shape to match. I hesitated for a long time because the yarn has some fuzzy spots that stick together but I am glad I took it back to the c2c triangle. Now i can do it the right way with your help. The yarn is shawl in a cake and is very pretty with its long color shifts but the last try came out wrong. I will come back here and watch again if I get stuck and the straight edges go off course. Hopefully, that won't happen again. I have never done c2c crocheting before and it is always fun to learn a new stitch after 60+ years of crocheting.

To make a rectangle C2C blanket you need to increase on one side but decrease on the other. If you have already made a square and don't want to start again, I would make some smaller square C2Cs and join them on 😊

BTW, if anyone is looking to use this stitch for something super warm and fuzzy, I'm a little over halfway done with a CTC blanket in doubled Caron Latte Cakes, and the skoosh factor is off the charts! I picked up 10 cakes of misc colorways on clearance, and it looks like the finished blanket will be 54" x 70" or so (2 doubled increase, 1 doubled extension, 2 doubled decrease).
