Hi Susan, I’m not sure if you’ve sent this to the right person, if you meant me (Marion) please give me a little more detail as I do so many videos, I’m not sure which one you’re referring to. Thanks 🥰🥰🥰
Yes Marion I am so sorry!!! there is a company that makes die cuts already made that you can buy in a package of about 100 and you can I guess it heat transfer on them. You had two packages one had flowers mixed and the other was I think butterflies. And you were able to take gold foil and heat it with an iron on to the already cut die cut if that makes any sense to you.

I just went thru the list and didn’t see the roller you used for the glitter. One that can be washed in the sink would be amazing! Can you tell us where you got that, too, please?
Hi Heather, oh gosh, I would say start off small, don’t go crazy and buy loads of stuff as you need to find what you like and then build from there. I’d say start with a few inks and a stencil and a set of sentiment stamps, you can make really quick and effective cards from just that, then you can progress to things like embossing and die cutting etc. I hope that helps, but you’ve helped me as that’s given me an idea for a video, thank you 🥰🥰🥰
After my bad foiling day today, now I feel worse! You did such an easy cool look with the ultra high! I love that look! I need fast much faster cards for Christmas! But you know, I just don’t think I’m capable of simple and gorgeous. Every year it’s TONS of die cutting each card! Ugh! Not feeling well if I seem like Debbie Downer. Sorry. The drs aren’t doing anything to help me.
@@marionemberson thank you. They literally told me having my records from the prior pain dr was more important than helping me who was thinking of killing myself to end the pain! It was only one of 2 options. I’m not suicidal, but that day was bad. Bone on bone in my lumbar spine amongst many other spine diseases.
The 110# cover Neenah solar white is 297gsm. And the black direct to card showed through. How I’m the world does it not on the much thinner WOW cardstock? Can you see a shadow on the inside?
@@marionemberson the thing I love about the 110# COVER stock, it has to be cover because the gsm is higher. 297. They are sturdy cards that never fall over or slide apart. The die cuts are not flimsy but substantial. You’d have to use 4 of wow to get the same thickness on a die cut. So that’s great too. I still have wow, but I save it for embossing images. Or I just thought, I could use one layer of wow to emboss and use one layer of Neenah under to get the thickness and durability! It makes the best card bases. But there’s a lot of different weights and kinds. I use the index from Neenah for gel prints and organizing my stamp pockets. For Christmas, maybe I’ll send you a couple of bases and panels and you’ll see how heavy duty it is.
The foil problem is doing 30-40 cards! Too much fuss! I did Decofoil duo once and had a card panel in mind for a birthday card and it didn’t turn out at all! I was so upset! I had all the dies ready to add to it! Idk what happened! Now I’m scared to use it again. I let it dry overnight and I think it wasn’t sticky enough! But that’s what I did before on 4 panels and it worked fine! I had a terrible card day.
I had never had stained stamps until I used Catherine Pooler inks. They stain terribly! Anything with red in it; orange, pink, etc, forget it. And I hate it!
@@marionemberson I had stampin up before which I didn’t like any of their stamps but they have many many colors so close to Catherine’s, I was shocked. They aren’t water reactive, but boxed up anyway. And I’ve not even begun to use my inks from CP like I could! Never even done water on them. Or ink blended. I use oxides and don’t ink blend those much! Too many techniques-so little time! 😂
I love your laugh.. oh you are so my kind of people.. you always crack me up.. so much fun

@@marionemberson You’ve inspired me, thank you!
You put so much effort in your cards Denise, I’m too lazy 🥴🥴 sorry to hear the Drs aren’t helping 😢😢
@@dizzinese oh that’s awful Denise 😢😢😢😢
@@marionemberson how I’ve wanted to tell you in an email. I’m suffering terribly and my dr won’t do a thing!
@@dizzinese surely you can see another Dr… ????
The 110# cover Neenah solar white is 297gsm. And the black direct to card showed through. How I’m the world does it not on the much thinner WOW cardstock? Can you see a shadow on the inside?
I’m not using #110 I could only get the #65, I’m not that impressed. The WOW card does not show through the ink, it’s coated and excellent quality 🥰🥰🥰
I put decofoil duo on a panel and forgot about it 🙈🙈 picked it up 4 days later and it worked a treat, not sure what happened with yours Denise 🥴🥴
I had never had stained stamps until I used Catherine Pooler inks. They stain terribly! Anything with red in it; orange, pink, etc, forget it. And I hate it!
I think you’ll find that’s any inks that are those colours, I have !!! But, it doesn’t stop the stamp from working 🤗🤗🤗
@@dizzinese I totally get that 😂😂😂
Lol 😂
