I also like your suggestion to use Cling wrap to smooch ink on, then transfer to paper! Kind of like using a gel plate without all the extra time to get it set up. I’m going to try that method in a Christmas journal I’m starting to work on. Thank you for sharing your ideas & thought process. Watching from Canada, Gillian

so happy to see you and a new video. I finally caught up on all the videos I hadn't seen. You are correct, I have not seen a Neenah in a very white either, but it's ok because most often it's covered with so many inks and things on the front that you can't tell. I did want to say that the most common one used is the COVER 110 pound and I believe the gsm is 297. Jennifer McGuire has a fantastic video she did about a year ago that explains the difference and shows the difference in the gsm not just the weight of the cardstock. It was extremely informative. I can try to find it and send it to you. I highly suggest every card maker watch this no matter how long you've been making cards. I changed to the cover 110# after I saw the video and it's made a huge difference in the cards never falling down when you give them to someone and they want to set it up. She shows 2 papers that are both 110# but the difference is really surprising!
Thanks Denise, ohh that sounds interesting, the WOW card I usually use is 250 gsm and I have no problem with that standing up, sorry as I’m not sure what that is in lbs… how comes we speak the same language and then we don’t 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰🥰
@@marionemberson I’ll look tonight and see if I can find it. There’s a difference in cover cardstock v.s. Index also. She does a very good job at not just talking about it, but visually showing you.
