I was missing my daily Christine fix and this showed up in my feed. I did watch it last year but I'm commenting again because they won't let me like it twice. I chipped a mug that I've been using daily for years that my youngest daughter bought me many, many moons ago. A favorite design and size. I couldn't bear to throw it in the garbage so it's been sitting on the counter. Today there was a package in the post that I hadn't ordered and what do you know; it was a brand new exact mug. My older daughter had told my youngest what happened and she tracked down one that perhaps had been used once or twice but it appears brand new. Every time she would visit she would tell me how faded the mug was but I loved it and wouldn't get rid of it. I took a pic of them side by side and did have to agree the old one was very old and faded. I was so pleasantly surprised. Now tomorrow I can once again enjoy my coffee in my favorite mug and think of my youngest as I do.
Hi Christine 🥰🙏🦘🦘🦘I am loving watching your Videos & am inspired again, to make white diecuts of trees, baubles, stars & others with my Oxide inks & spritzer. I used the Nuvo Glitter Gloss on some to highlight snow on roofs & also use Glossy Accents. Such marvellous products available to add the special "pop". Gold heat embossed greetings provide another classy touch. I like the different mountings too. 🎄is coming SOON so I'm making my cards, every one unique, just like each Recipient. Blessings 🙏🔔🎶
Hello Christine. 1 die 3 cards finally si far. I al sûre that with the remaining trees the cards Will ne just as magnificent and différent. Chrismas tree are also my theme this year 😊. Good evening and thank. 👏👋👋👋👋
They are beautiful. I usually give out about 80 cards so I do about 5 different styles and give out according to age. I have at about 25 done so I’ve got along way to go. 🎄
That's an amazing tutorial in keeping things CAS and using card stock efficiently. They are also super cute! I am now inspired to start. Falalala, la la la la
All lovely cards with at the same stamp and dies. Your tip to use the glue stick over the mounting tape has saved me time and aggravation many, many times - thank you!
Love the Die !! I would think if you turn it upside down you could use it as a gnomes beard and a gnomes hat if you turn it upright. Lots of uses for it.
I love Christmas tree and the cards are very cute. When I did your snowflake from last year, I didn’t think about changing the style, well it will just be a thought for 2015. Jenny ❤😊
I really enjoyed watching your process in making these cards, that tree!! Sooo sweet, it makes you smile how tipsy Turvy he is. To think a sentiment and a tree and you have wonderful cards!! Thank you take care.
Hi Chris, what adorable tree cards, just to let you know that my hubby and I watched Peter Kay's parky video ,we can understand why your hubby was laughing, thanks for demo,
What a cute tree - if it was inverted, it could be a beard!! I love the idea of the aperture, then utilising the cut out for the next card, a great time saving trick! Nicola x
I always look forward to your videos.. I pick up many great ideas. So many cards become very involved and take a lot of time that it’s refreshing to have clean and simple but beautiful. Thank you!
That Gummiapan tree is so cute - just wish I could justify buying yet another tree die.... The cards are so lovely, though I was slightly nervous during the video that you were going to dab something into the brown ink you were using for the tree trunks. I have quite a few Gummiapan stamps and found it a pain to stick them to acrylic blocks or stamping platform with removable adhesive. I bought some Mount 'n Stamp foam from Stix2 and am very pleased with the result. I must get started on my Christmas cards!
I always used to mount my rubber stamps, but I find it really easy to just use a dab of glue. We each have to do what feels best for us! Enjoy making your Christmas cards ❤️
Fabulous cards Chris and that tree die is so cute. I looked on the Gummiapan website but they must have had a run on them as they are out of stock!!😂 Thanks again for sharing and providing us card makers with endless inspiration and spicing up our card making xx
Hi. Maybe it's just me but I think someone might have been watering those trees with something a bit stronger than Christmas spirit because that's how usually I look at the end of the big day! 😂 Thank you for sharing your lovely Christmas cards. I really like the way that they are essentially the same card but each looks a little different, a very nice touch indeed. Have a great day. 😊
So elegant but fun. I have been wetting the ink and then smooshing the die cut into it but it gets quite thin, wetting the die cut after inking looks better, thank you for showing this technique xx
Love your unique tree on your cards. I love how the star hangs down. I thought the way you coloured your trees was quite original too. I enjoy visiting your site. 🇨🇦
I enjoyed your video so much and love the tree die. I understand that there is no stamp but have only used stamps and dies together. This is going to be very interesting for me. I did find a Gummiapan dealer in Californina. My order is on the way! Hope I can successfully complete this! LOL .
@@Chrissieannie I went to the Gummiapan web site and it said it is now available in the US thru their website. it is being shipped from Palo Alto Ca. will arrive this Saturday. cost was 3.49 plus 5.00 shipping. Advent Calendar is out of my price range!
I love the sweet little tree you used but each is a different design which makes them individual but still quite speedy to make. I think my cards will be in the main more CAS this year and I think that you are right about keeping them uncluttered but making sure there is something you have used on each which makes them special. Thank you for some great ideas Chrissie. x
❤ Thanks Christine for doing this in response to my message. I feel inspired now and can likely batch make something like this. I do boxes of 10 4" x 4" xmas cards and will see how something like this works on a smaller card xx take care, please make more soon. P.S. your tree die as SO adorable x
I really like Nuvo's aqua shimmer pens, especially as they have 5 colors to choose from so you can have gold, copper, red-gold, and opal (a bit pink-although missing from the website today) in addition to silver. I have this sweet tree die but I'm not sure I could restrain myself to make a CAS card. Not my forte at the moment. Love all your suggestions and all your variations on this theme.
I love that Christmas tree! Also see it as a hat on some quirky character! Is that a new die or an old one as I couldn't find it at Gummiapan...and I'd really like to buy it!
Oops...just found it...BUT it's OUT OF STOCK! So disappointed. Their search engine is not great...searching on Christmas trees did not bring it up....BUT just plain Christmas did! Love the elegance and playfulness of this die and your card!
