I just found you! The “coloring with embossing powders,” caught my eye. I’ve never seen this method! I make such a HUGE mess with just one color, you make it look so easy. I’ve never seen a brayer used on the embossing ink pad. Such creative thinking, l’m intrigued! I love how you giggle at yourself, l do the same & also fuss at myself, as well. Marion, it saddens me that those who take the time to show us these wonderful crafting videos get ‘shouted at’. Thanks for another cool video on a wonderful technique. Beautiful!
Thank you Renee, ❤️❤️ I do it for all you lovely people who appreciate all the work that goes in to making these videos. I’m so grateful to you guys 🤗🤗🤗
Oh my goodness.....I nearly fell off my chair when I saw that you were using the butterfly bundle! Thank you so much and thank you too for your gorgeous embossing powder 'painting'....it is one of my fave things to do xx
Thank you so much for showing all of this, including the mistakes that you made. It's so comforting to know that if I make a mistake, it's not the end of the world. I can fix it. You've shown me how I can fix it and that is such a wonderful thing. I love what you did, I'm absolutely going to try this! I'm so glad I found your videos! Great tip on the static free containers and metal spoons! Fortunately, I have that same one. I really do wish wow could or would make a spice type cap. One side shakes out through holes and the other pours. Wouldn’t that be fantastic?

I too am in awe of Chrissie Stokes and and it was in part down to her that I got back into my card making again - she is such an inspiration xx
These butterflies are stunning, one thing I thought of was if you attached the final 'topper' with the butterfly onto some double sided adhesive then filled in the gaps with some ultra fine glitter instead of putting it onto a coloured background like you thought of doing, I think that would look lovely.
Where can we best support you Marion? With all the new products you use, especially those from the US, it must cost a fortune! Are the two new ones here yet? 😉💞🤩
Thanks Kenzie, yes it isn’t cheap but just by watching the videos support me in a little way, if people buy from my links then that helps also, but honestly, I just love sharing my videos and hopefully it encourages more people to take up this wonderful craft 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Hi. While the latter two are lovely looking, I must say that the first one you did I found enchanting due to the almost antique/vintage appearance of it. You may have seen it as an error but please don't discount it's charm as beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I for one would love to receive such a card. Thank you for sharing your endless talent.
You’re absolutely right Deb, that’s partly why I left it in the video, that and to show another way of doing it, it was only when I’d done I thought ‘how can I do this so I can see it better’ I always go for perfection, it’s one of my traits 🙈🙈🙈 but as I look back on it now, I see that it can appeal to more people 🥰🥰🥰🥰
@@marionemberson I'm glad you think so and I would love to see that one finished with a bit of velvet ribbon or aged lace, something along those lines....unless you have something more interesting in mind, that is? 😃

I was able to salvage my mess and finally got it right on the 3rd attempt! Discovered mod podge can be forgiving!! Lol ... Your butterfly is beautiful!!

Just an idea to add a bit to the white or black space. You could emboss the panel or you could use a piercing die before adding in that beautiful butterfly. Just a thought. I have to try this but it is not a beginner technique
@@marionemberson they are my favorite die for peeking out behind a smaller panel. I try to get designs that have holes close together if I’m going to use it for that and then more spaced apart if a lot of it shows.
I love watching your videos! You keep it real 💕 when I saw what you were using I thought have to message Sarah and tell her but I see Sarah has already seen and commented. Absolutely beautiful cards and techniques. I wonder what one of the die cut cards would look like with a black background ? Guess I need to try myself lol. Thank you for another great video.
This was so fun to watch. I have a similar butterfly stamps and can't wait to try this technique. Curious how you adhere such a fine design to the card.
Thanks Sandy, sorry to be ignorant, but what bit are you talking about when you mention adhering a fine design, when I get a mo I’ll re watch the video, I’ve done a few more since this last one and I can’t remember what I did yesterday 😜😜🙈🥰🥰🥰
If I were to put a intricate die cutted and embossed piece on a card front, the only way I can put it on is with fine tip glue. Wondered if there was an easier way.
@@sandystehman1490 hi Sandy, sorry I get you now, my fault 🥰🥰 So you can use liquid glue and put it on the back of your hand and tap the die cut to it and it will just pick up bits of glue, much quicker than applying it straight from the bottle, an even quicker way is to use a spray adhesive. Hope that helps xxx
Wow. Absolutely gorgeous!! And very unique technique!! I love this!! Definitely adding this to my "must try" list!! I'm new to your channel and Love your personality!! Haha that sounds like me.. "oh I could do this, or maybe I could do that? No, Kayla, finish what your doing! " Lol

Just an idea to add a bit to the white or black space. You could emboss the panel or you could use a piercing die before adding in that beautiful butterfly. Just a thought. I have to try this but it is not a beginner technique
I love that idea Denise, I dint think I have any piercing dies, you know I may have to get one now 🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰
@@marionemberson they are my favorite die for peeking out behind a smaller panel.
Thank you so much Sharon, I was so chuffed with Sarah’s beautiful designs 🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for all your tips and technics!
You’re very welcome Debbie 🥰🥰🥰
@@sandystehman1490 hi Sandy, sorry I get you now, my fault 🥰🥰
So you can use liquid glue and put it on the back of your hand and tap the die cut to it and it will just pick up bits of glue, much quicker than applying it straight from the bottle, an even quicker way is to use a spray adhesive. Hope that helps xxx
@@marionemberson never thought of the spray adhesive. that is a great tip. thank u.
@@sandystehman1490 you’re very welcome 🥰🥰
Beautiful technique. Personally, I like the first one better. It’s more pastel, delicate and vintage.
Thanks Cindy, I feel like if split the audience with this 🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰
I've tried to track down the butterfly package and, or just the flower stamp but I'm not having any luck. Can use advise? Love your vids.
Hi Cindy, I’m afraid it completely sold out everywhere now, I’ve searched and searched, but it’s gone 🙈🙈 so sorry 🥰🥰🥰

Loved the video. What stick product did you use to put the wax paper cut out butterfly on the card?
Thank you Sharon, I usually use wax paper or parchment paper, they both do the trick 🥰🥰🥰
I forget to paint with my powders, so thanks for the beautiful reminder!

Honestly, it really is, just small little bits of powder, that’s where the spoon comes in handy. 🥰🥰🥰
Well, what a good technique. Why didn't I think of that! ? Unfortunately I'm gonna have to wait a while to do it as my craft stash is packed up ready to move next week. : ( Something to spur me on with the unpacking : )
