Love these videos. No fancy shop with expensive lifts. No pile of new parts worth thousands of dollars. Just a guy with his tools and next thing you know it's running.
Indeed. I did feel a bit sorry for him due to all that mud and puddles of water. Dry ground makes a much more pleasant working environment. But at least nothing on the ground would catch fire when it was like that!
shoot i got a lift and a garage that looks like it’s about to fall but its not its fine it was built with left over material and recycled materials the cinderblocks we used was from a bridge that was tore down
Talented people doing talented things. In this age of angry videos and antagonism, videos like this are a breath of fresh air. Keep up the truly excellent work!
The best revival channel on UA-cam. You take on motors others have left for dead and start them. No crappy music, no fancy tools, just grit and determination. Perfect!
No cursing or frustration. Despite working on something most folks would just shake their head at, and even despite a fire, this guy is calm, positive, and brave. Love it
When I was about 10, i was helping my grandad work on something (I can't remember what), he told me never be a mechanic; it'll make you cuss. You know he was right.
I really appreciate your content. So many channels are no longer enjoyable, but your channel has remained true to the premise of getting old iron running. Thanks!
You are the king of getting hopeless engines running!! Exciting video!! We got to see snow, fire under the engine, fire in the engine, engine removal, engine reinstalled, leaks, holes in the oil pan etc., but you still got it running. Doesn't get much better than this!!
You are an absolute master at will it run. Some of these other guys need to take notice. You don't complain , criticize, or make excuses, just get the job done. Kudos
Dude! You never cease to amaze me man! You have skills and patience! And the passion to be able to revive this engine’s is beyond belief! Amazing job! I definitely enjoy them!
I love these videos. It is so refreshing to see a young feller bring these old vehicles back to life the way they did years ago and not by just throwing a full assortment of new parts at it like so many do. These videos prove there is still at least one real mechanic left
Excellent! Im a lover of the really old stuff and your videos show folks that they ain't so scary. People, drag these old rigs out of the fields and have fun!
My dad has 32 BB that's in nice shape, all original. He hasn't tried starting it, but he knows the engine won't turn over. He's thinking about selling it, and for the price he's asking, I believe I can flip the bill. You're a true inspiration to dedication to projects you take on! Thumbs up on all of your videos.
I just discovered this channel not too long ago and I really enjoy watching you start these engines up. There's something fascinating about seeing them want to run even though they're in horrible condition.
I know Jennings lives in the same world we all do, but his videos take you away from all the stupidity that seems to be everywhere...I am so envious of his ability to be away from it all & just tinkering with old stuff.
I've learned so much from watching you work on these old jalopys that I tried my own will it run got it running and it was the greatest feeling ever 😊👍
Hey, I've been watching a few of your video's lately, and i love to watch them, i love seeing you bringing those very old engines back to life, and it is so fascinating to see that even 75+ year old engines can still run, it really displays the good quality of those old engines, and how good they were builded that long time ago.
You sure can make the dead get a boost on living again. You must me the luckiest mechanic or should I say the best mechanic that I watch on UA-cam. You produce the videos that I would give A++++++++++ every time.
Old mate's sense of optimism is refreshing to say the least, I'd have said the words "scrap iron" but he isn't fazed by anything. Nice to hear. "Somethin' aint valvolatin' properly" man NOTHING puts him off, this is pure entertainment and I think I'll subscribe. Nothing but respect for him.
You guys that have the know how, time/talent, and more importantly the heart to get these ole vehicles running is amazing…. Way to go!! Appreciate your channel….
Always a treat to watch you get these old gems running. It's even fun when you don't. This is definitely one of my favorite UA-cam channels and I always look forward to the new ones. Keep up the good work!
Love how you persevere until you get them running - and they nearly always do. Also, she didn't want to be woken did she. Definitely reluctant to wake from her slumber.
I can't decide whether this guy is a genius, totally insane or just someone who enjoys a challenge...But, as a long-time problem-solver & DIRer myself, I love these videos. I don't think there is one other person out of a million who has the confidence that they can get a "hunk of junk" like this running again. When I was a kid, more than 60 years ago, I "helped" my older brother restore a '31 Model A to running condition...but it was in way better shape than this truck to start with. Ten years later I found myself working for a car restoration shop near Cranbury, NJ, for awhile. (I had "fallen" for the owner's daughter, and he gave me the job when I needed it.) That owner (Mr.Clickner) was not a mechanic but, rather, a sheet metal genius...so, when necessary, he'd create new body panels from scratch, rather than having to find salvage parts for some pretty rare cars, like the 1915 Metz that we restored.
Gotta be the most optimistic will it start man on the net, puts massive effort into something that the majority of us would put on the weighbridge at the scrap yard,👍👍👍
I love flat heads coming back to life, AND I loved hearing that old Kubota tractor. I ran an early 1980s Kubota as a chore tractor when I was growing up, so that brought me a smile.
HI JMS,,, MY SON MAX 8 YR.S SAYS YOU HAVE THE COOLEST VIDEOS AND YOU LIKE THE OLD TRUCK AND YOUR YOUNG ...I AM OLDER AND YOUR TEACHING ME SOME THING...WOW !!!! IF THAT OLD TRUCK COULD TALK ,,SHE SAYS AM ALIVE ..THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're awesome brother! I love how you take the licks as they come and roll right through it! 💪👊💥appreciate your great content and always staying true!! Thank you..
Too damn cool watching these, there’s a guy out here with hundred or so cars he’s been rounding up over the years a lot of old stuff 10’s and 20’s love to see you get some of it running. His stuff all abandoned and not run for several decades. He’s got an old Mack truck from WWI I’d live to see that thing start and drive.
Great video - one of the best yet I’d say. Super impressed how you tackled this lump of rust and got it going. Would love to see the entire truck brought back to life some day.
"We´re gonna get this old girl running" I´m just seeing a pile of rust and moss, it´s incredible how these old machines can be brought back to life, i´d never imagine it would run again :D
Always excited to watch your videos. Its very satisfying when you get something that shouldnt run back up and running. Cant wait for more on the cuda. 🙂

Much more interesting to see someone take on a project with what they got

Hoe would you put lifts into the mud? Go to a tall building if you want to see any lift.

“Hopefully she will start pretty easy”😂 I love this guy
He walks up to a literal pile of metal with the crankshaft laying next to a bare block:
"All right, this ole girl looks like a runner"
Optimist would be a huge understatement :D
"Cook the engine at 350" ....until it's golden brown, or oily black, one or the other. 😅 Good work getting the old girl running!
He almost cooked his arm at 350! Love this guy’s guts.

Me too!
I never knew a 4' crowbar was such a good multitool until I started watching this channel
That's for sure! I'm expecting him to open a can of soup with it, square up a garage, and chisel a letter into a flat rock Flintstone style.

Seeing a Model a video… just made my day 1000% better !!

Guilty pleasure, wish my man would get a regular upload schedule these days!... but of course, that's me being greedy 😅

Mr Jennings, I give you so much credit! It doesn't matter what problem you are faced with, you overcome!!
This brings me joy watching old engines getting revived, how about a 'Will it run' for motorcycles next? Would love that.
You'd love The Bearded Mechanic, aka Craig, formerly of Bikes and Beards. He revives dead bikes all the time.
The first "Will it run" video that starts with lighting it on fire! You can't argue with the results though. Well done!
You sure know how to get those antiques going and I really enjoy watching you work to get them running.

Need to name that old engine Lazarus, as you well and truly brought it back from the dead!
Good analogy
👍😀
You are a savage where old iron is concerned! The fire was sweet! Glad you weren't harmed in the making of this video. Another fine rebirth!
A true “Grapes Of Wrath” style rebuild. An excellent video, and thank you for making it.
This is the best ever! My kinda video.... it amazed the whole family. Particularly loved the 'left hand' carburator.
This shows just how tuff and resilient the old school technology is compared to todays junk. Well done mate keep up the good work.
The campfire and the the iron stove was just awesome. Some of the best videos on UA-cam
Never thought in my whole life I'd see someone make a fire to start a motor. This guy's an anomaly. Right on dude!
Nah... He's alright... It's the majority of the *rest of us* that are the anomalies.
I’m always amazed at the dinosaurs you find to try to get running! Too cool!
