@@jenningsmotorsports7554 Hey buddy I got a 1946 ford Tudor been sitting under a shed next to a barn in Arkansas since the early 70s atleast. Anyway I'm buying and trading to get the car. You want to come get it running? It drove where it's at. It's a flathead V8 was told its the first year they put it in them cars. I have pics if u want.
My pops had one of these when I was growing up in the early 2000's, rebuilt the engine and got it running but ended up on the backburner and then sold. He was originally going to use it to haul his tractors to shows but age and injury caught up to him. Cool to see another one, that engine looks very clean compared to what we started with haha.
I don't know what it is about these videos, but I find it fascinating you take these old engines and get them to run again. It is quite amazing to see and hear something so old come to life one more time. Kind of historic!
Loved it.. I found myself remembering my dad and me working on our old stuff and suddenly I had tears again with that feel of success of a great fix.. Thank You and to my son for showing me your channel. Subbed
I'm not at all surprised that the engine started, but a starter motor without stuck brushes after so many years is impressive, most modern starters need at least a few "love taps" after not being used for a couple of years.
I bought a 1956 Farmall 130 tractor which had not run in years and was outside the whole time. The engine IS stuck but the I put a battery in it and the starter worked as if nothing had ever happened.
WOW!! MY SON AND I LOVE THAT ENGINE AND WHEN IT CLEAN,, THE 2 HORNS WE BET THERE LOUD AND COOOL .. THE CRICKETS ARE COOL TO LISTEN TO IN THE WOODS..WHAT A GREAT SOUND WHEN IT STARTED .. LETS SEE PART 2 .... THANKS..
there is one just like this a mile from my house. the guy owns a storage shed complex and has hundreds of gas and oil signs on posts, cars, a half track, a 1920's funeral coach, wagons, a big boy, and a kit p51 mustang. its super cool
I've been around vehicles for over 40 yrs would never think for a moment she would never start. Most would never give her a chance and to see you brought her back that's amazing.
Great video, but the best part is the crickets in the background. The downside is I didn’t see a ice house sitting on the fender. But there was a lot fun going on and a lot of anticipation , a great combination for a great day. Nursing it back to life , you got to love it.
I like watching these videos before bed, because my 1950 Chevy sits in my carport right outside my bedroom window, and with the window open and a slight breeze I can smell all the old grease from 1966 that I haven't cleaned off and it really adds to the ambiance of the video
She sounds real good! Love that design. I was wondering if the old girl was a 6 volt positive ground like my 52 Desoto was. Had the same bullet proof flat head 6 in her. Maybe a couple cubic inches more or less. I drove that car for 30 years in good weather, no winters though. Had the optional heater too!! lol. Funny how time just slips away. Willy Nelson. peace
"She wants to be back on the road" another cool will it run vid! This thing would look so cool going down the road again! I like your tip about usually using a can of PB on an engine. I'd sure like to see this one going down the road again.
what fun ! one of my favorite things is breathing life back into some old rig . good job Man. i use a outboard motor gas tank hooked to the fuel pump .. works good till you can clean the tank out .. yeah , what a rush it is when you hear some old clunker fire up n idel 😎. thank you for taking us along 👍🏼
@@tommytron2000 holy crap I didn't notice he's got that much! Been here since he had like 4-5k and kinda forgot that such quality work often gets attention real fast
This guy sees hope without evidence of hope, he is optimistic in apparent craziness, dude could write a book on motivation, but love the sage, wise , clever, innovative , goal orientation! Amazing!
That engine bay looks REALLY good. Looks like it was routinely cleaned out while it sat, OR it was roofed. Now that i think about it, someone might have attempted to get it going rather recently.
Dam Dustin, you are a rare specimen my friend!! Determination is redefined by your channel :) I'm hoping we get to see some of these beauties made into going-to-town rigs!!
Love hearing those peepers in the backround!! Years ago I had an old nissan pickup with a seized engine, dumped marvel mystery oil in the cylinders, let it set a while and after a while, it was good to go!! Now you've got the head off, can you still get parts for this thing?
My dad has a 40'Dodge business coupe. Still runs, although its not a daily driver. I learned how to drive in that car. Flat head six, dual exhaust, sounds like an outboard motor.
It is incredible watching this. It just blows my mind seeing a nearly 100 year old car all seized up and this guy just does the impossible and gets it running. Man that's cool. Also - I've seen he's got a Cuda from his other videos so he's got the best muscle car ever made as well so I can't fault him. I'd love to know what drivetrain he has in mind for the Cuda though if I was to be honest.
Anyone else think this guy sounds like mr Mackey from South Park, the missis just said he did to me and were sat here laughing are asses off 😂 amazing content tho mate, keep up the good work
Morning!! I grew up in Michigan, a town that had gravel pits everywhere you went, they all had "pit trucks" I'm 65, I remember those trucks like it was yesterday!!
Some day I would love to own one. My name is Stacey I am 59 years old. I am disabled do to several issues and surgeries. My wife has her crafts to keep her busy, my daughter suggested that I get a project and she stated that we should do build on a old truck or car like the ones I watch on TV. So let me know if you have any cheep project we can start.
love it i appreciate guys like this trying to get the classics back on the road again
Thank you I try to save all of them that I can

That is absolutely great to see that old beauty spark into life again after 50 yrs, can't see any modern vehicle starting like that after so long..
actually my car runs perfectly fine after a thousand years of having it, smh.
No sir they can’t sit a year they never right again
Whenever I watch these videos I find myself involuntarily smiling when you bring an engine back to life.
I love seeing these old 30's cars and trucks going again. They sound awesome.
I just discovered this channel and I already love it, It's good to see these old cars back up and running, even when they aren't in the best of shape.

It seems that the older stuff was built a hell of a lot better than modern stuff is
This is a cool old truck!!
I love seeing you getting them running, but I'd love to see your end result as you get them road worthy again.
Love your videos bro.
Thank you
You're a lot better than most on will it run vids , most folks can't run one from a squirt bottle .👍🏻

Killer! Now it needs buttoned up with cooling system so that it can run longer.
I will get that done and it needs u joints it would have drove but the rear one broke
I love the sound of that old engine.
I love hearing the spring peepers. They just started up here in my part of north central Pennsylvania.
There's something really satisfying about these videos

Man just a tip. Start recording while at work. Share it with your fans. You won’t regret it. Get a Go Pro with a strap on your head or chest.
Don’t change anything you’re doing. I love your videos. You have renewed my love for fixing up old vehicles. Thank you!

Just awesome, It's amazing how much those old trucks could haul with that little engine ,and that truck is just a piece of folk art in itself .
My 1940 Plymouth has almost the same engine. The distributors don't like moisture! But easily fixed! I absolutely love the truck!
