Now we're talking! This episode takes me back years ago to when I first started watching you guys. A father and son, daughter and friends digging out and old vehicle. This video deserves a million likes.
Yes, a new Turnin' Rust video ! I'm getting addicted to your channel. It's crazy how UA-cam has 1000 times more choices than network TV. This is awesome. That dude's 4WD Cadillac cracks me up every time. I see you went and bought one of those green stretchy looking tow ropes you liked so much. That's a lot of good firewood, and a landscaping company would've charged $500 to do that, anyway, but you guys enjoy it and it's good karma because you did it in stride.
That gas saw definitely has a dull chain. The electric saw showed its stuff with how it started every time the operator pulled the trigger. No jerking on the rope. No slow going through the tree. Just even easy cuts and no slack, all work. I have a couple of EGO chain saws and a couple of the small Sakos. My Poulan and my Stihl gas saws have not cut a branch or tree in a couple of years. I also have push and riding EGO mowers. I have a bunch of batteries and a few fast chargers. No problem, no buying fuel or remembering to mix the gas and oil. I love it. Ego weed whackers and etc... never back to gas. If it is broke its easy to fix, no problems. No need to take to a small engine mech.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. when you have a good chain on your saw you don’t have to slide it back-and-forth like a handsaw. sliding it back-and-forth first of all doesn’t do anything.
The story on that truck was neat. His mom drove it in that spot and parked it there 5 decades ago. Just incredible. Alots changed in the world since its been back there in the woods.
Oh boyI I got new uploads to watch from Turnin Rust, Travis B, Trioxin Customs and Carters Auto restyling all in one day. Its gonna be a busy night on my watchlist! I love your rescues guys. Thanks for continuing to drag these old classics from their hiding places and giving them a second life.
I wanna start out Wes, if I could by, wishing you a Merry Christmas! The reason that "car" has such a strong pull is simply because it's a car body (Lincoln) mounted atop a Truck chassis/drivetrain. I'm not an expert so please don't think I'm talking down to you; just an ol' gearhead who has an addiction for speed & grease, though NOT necessarily in that order, lol. I love watching videos like this as well as those from Vice Grip Garage, Budget Buildz, Junkyard Digz, No Nonsense Know How & Pole Barn Garage.
I’m retired now, not my choice mind you, MS took me out of the game, but I spent 29 years over the road. I’ve dreamed of restoring an old COE. Those old rigs are the most beautiful trucks that ever roamed the roads. I’m proud of my old rig Penny, she did me right for 20 years, she was a Cascadia glider. I loved that truck but she was no COE. Beautiful find fellas.
Wow. Reminds me of you guys cutting out that ol Volvo. She sure did put up a fight though. Oddly enough, that vintage of trailer would not have parking brakes. Service brakes only. And if I’m not mistaken, the trucks parking brake was a cable, connected to a lever in the cab that would engage a pinion style drum brake right behind the tranny. Can’t wait to see what you guys uncover trying to get this ol’ girl up and running again. Many thanks to Shawn for helping too! Definitely gonna head over and check out his channel. Love that monster Merc. Thanks guys and God bless!
Hey Lance, Wyatt. Been awhile!, gr8 vid. Love these coe's gr8 trucks. Shout out to Shawn, love to see him in your vids giving you a chop out(help). Man massive tree chop to get it out . excellent love you guys CHEERS!
I love this show and I gotta subscribe to jacked up diesel car dude he just feels like family. And when he tows cars if it's on his trailer now that's his car and nobody better mess with it. I respect that.
Great deal on cabover.. worth a restoration with the trailer...I was praying for the person using the chainsaw..he's not afraid of anything. I'm Canadian and love your channel
The wheels on the rear of trailer look like a split rim, NOT a split ring, many people confuse these. These things are dangerous, don't even try to put air in them, they can blow apart and kill you. They are known as Firestone RH - 5 wheels, 'Widowmakers'. Firestone was sued over these years ago. Throw them in the junkpile.
Had a '49 Ford F-6 with that kind of rim, and I couldn't find a truck tire dealer that would touch them. Never knew about them until after the fact...and I was trying to put air in them!!! Guess I'm pretty lucky! Thanks for warning them, we don't need to lose somebody.
That was tough! But, you made it! Anxious now for a will it run video. Oh, and how about that gorgeous studebaker Avanti on your shop? I’d love to see more about it too. Have an amazing weekend!
I love watching these rescues. You are right. It is fun. It’s not work. Being out in nature, reclaiming something from the grave. You and the family put out great content. Thank you.
GREAT!!! VIDEO!- AND ! MAN , WHAT A POWERFUL BIGFOOT DIESEL ENGINE CAR! IT PULL LIKE A TANK!- IT MADE A TIRE WHEEL HOLE- ABOUT SIX INCH DEEP 😮😮😮 WHAT A POWER HOUSE!!😮 NO DOUBT IN MY MIND!- WHITE BIGFOOT WAS THE STAR OF THAT - DAY!!👍👍 / I MUST SAY!, THAT I LIKE YOUR AUTOMOBILE RESCUE JUST AS MUCH,AS WILL IT RUN VIDEOS!😊
This is going to be a cool project. Can't wait till y'all're digging into it and hopefully get it running for the first time. It reminds me a lot of that phone company rig, except we know this truck/trailer were a working set before.
That is a real sweet truck at a reasonable price IMHO. It is going to be awesome once you get it up and running. Can't wait to see the next few videos when you do!
All the hard work the better the reward 🙏🍀what a great truck trailer combo from back in the day it's going to make a sweet patina hauling show machine if you can match a period correct car to put on the back...hot rod dreams 🤩
Another great video. I loved seeing that old truck and trailer combo. As an old truck driver, I can't wait to see you get into this one. Stay safe, and God bless you'll. ✝️Dan🇺🇲
Well, that was a lot of rust to be turned, but it turned in the end. :) (I felt a bit sorry for the young one who had to do the most heavy work...) lifting the wheels out of their holes would have been among the first things I did, including the trailers' end. :) anyway, you all look like you know what you're doing, so there. :) these COEs are fascinating. you guys had them when here in europe we had only long-nosed trucks, the longer the better. and it has the correct trailer, too! it's like for us model car collectors, finding a rare rig at the flea market or garage sale, complete but needing repaint... feels like xmas. ^^
Love these old trucks . Remember when I was a kid I've seen a lot of these attached to box trucks in my home town of Indio , CA . They were dark green cabs with aluminum box .
That's such an epic classic tractor-trailer setup. Get her going, re-deck the trailer, and maybe add some ramps, and you'd have an awesome car hauling rig for shows that'd be probably the most unique thing on the block! Also a great rig for just general hauling of stuff, like she was built to do.
nice of y'all to plow the man's field for him, though I think dragging a car through it is probably the most unique piece of farming equipment I've seen.
Excellent Video Turnin Rust Wyatt :) , Lance :) also buddy help out get that old 1951 Chevrolet COE truck and looking forward more this truck too see running! Also if Christina doing Video nice see help boys too !
Well is it Runnin' yet ? Its been out o the woods 4 DAYS already !!! 🤪 Seriously, I hope to see that COE running again. As I recall, they had some SERIOUS pulling power.

hi man
I love the line, “I do one diesel conversion and now I’m an expert.”
After reading your comment I was waiting for that line. It was funny.

@michaelb.42112 Cadillac? You mean Mercury Grand Marquis like it says right on the trunk lid @53:14???
Finding a complete, rebuildable COE is pretty cool, but having a matching trailer is an amazing find.
I agree!
Holy moly! Dude's diesel was a beast. He was digging up serious earth at idle ❤

I wanna put a file to that chain…drives me nuts
Two saws, one with a dull chain, no proper gear. Amateurs.
Me to. Break my heart @@spencerrobinson2719

This cabover is amazing. It deserves more than just a patina restoration.

Unbelieveable! Turnin Rust wins again! What a challenge that was, good job!
That big white diesel car is something special it sounds very powerful.
My back hurts from just watching the video… I can’t believe you guys actually were able to pull it out,
hello man
TR. I can't believe how strong a pull that car has! That is one very powerful beast! Another near miracle rescue by the TR team! Congrats!

Love these old trucks . Remember when I was a kid I've seen a lot of these attached to box trucks in my home town of Indio , CA . They were dark green cabs with aluminum box .
Call truck those older trucks just had characters
This particular truck is what commonly referred to as a cannonball for obvious reasons . Sweet trucks

Amazing Men Lance and Wyatt you keep finding the hardest to get out of any with trees and trailer. Seasons Greetings 💯👊👍🌲 Thank you.

I love watching these recoveries but I’m dying to see them getting restored!
Great video guys and deal😀👏
Great rescue gentleman!
hello man
I remember seeing that one on Marketplace. Good Luck with it. I've owned thirty of those 47-54 GM COE's the last 40 years.
It's very satisfying to watch all the arborist work being done to expose the rusted beauty underneath it all😊😊❤
Resgate fantástico! Quero ver a continuidade!
Always love your teamwork efforts, it's like I'm there with y'all all from my recliner ...lol. Love the videos, keep em coming!
Sure was fun to watch; wrenching on old GM trucks for years. Look forward to seeing it run!
This is going to make a great project 👍👍

Guys this was a great video loved the intro one of the best it's only second to the old chevrolet bel air episode that was for your uncle, Frankie.
Awesome recovery gentlemen and lady.
Awesome video. Look forward to future videos on the revival of this COE.
Watching y'all cut out that cedar tree, I can smell that just from memories of going Christmas tree hunting as a kid.
I will take that back. That car does pull pretty good.
Love your work 👍🇦🇺
I would love to own such a rig! even to find one! man is that thing Cool!
