The premise of the conversation was to discuss the current copper market and China's involvement with the spot price. Well, if I take the timing with a grain of salt, what is left there to take seriously, that the market will crash some day? Do we need someone to tell us that? Why don’t I go out and say it will crash in Q3 of 2025 and call myself an expert, if it does not happen, nobody cares and I will keep predicting, if it does, I am the Messi of experts. In what other industry can you be so wrong and continue to tell people what will happen?
@@alimaninny5343 I agree, but market timers are a dime a dozen and most are wrong. I would never bet the farm on any one call. Simon could be 100% wrong, but if he is, then just do the opposite and you'll be 100% right :).

@@martenmuylaert2664 he is probably correct. Putin is ready for a war with NATO. Ukraine is a skirmish. Only 300k troops committed. He has 1m in reserve! 40k Russians joining army every month. NATO and the USA will lose of course

This was a very important video, because it revealed that you are not a reliable information source. You are not able to interrogate claims made by an interviewee, challenge, fact-check, or even reflect upon their plausibility in real time. This man should not be given an airing. He is a noxious Putin-apologist who himself is incapable of judging the reliability of the information upon which he is building his view of the world. There was no NATO bunker destroyed by a Russian missile in late March: that is prima facie highly questionable (you fell down here) and easily fact-checked to be transparent nonsense. Even more imbecilic (and reprehensibly so) is he statement as established fact that the US, UK and Ukraine committed the terrorist attack in Moscow. No aspect of that claim stands up to plausibility: it is mere Putin apoligism and occidental self-flagellation. You might argue that it is not your remit to challenge people who are generous enough to come on your channel, and I agree-- that is precisely why UA-cam is incapable of functioning as a substitute for professional media.
