    That's what I liked about the Jerry Cantrell wah, you had a knob on the side to adjust the sweep without having to unscrew the bottom plate. I wish I hadn't sold it, great wah and the copper color was amazing

    Yessir..The Teeth Count is Where You'll Find it... It Takes a Bit of Trial and Error But You Can Find Something That'll Make You a Lil More Happier Then How There Shipped (Sans Mods of Course)

    is there a way to make your rotator/potentiometer stay in the place you left it? like if i take my foot off.. gravity takes it to the bottom..

    Marco you should retitled this with VOX in the title and you might get more views. KOOL video but I don't have a traditional WAH I have one built into my HELIX

    I'm having trouble with the volume of the petal when I click it on no matter how loud I have the amp.

      Mhhh. Im not an expert unfortunately. Maybe you need to bring it to a tech. Maybe a cold solder point.

    • @jfmax2000
      @jfmax2000 8 місяців тому

      He is Correct.. Cold Solder Sounds Like a Good Culprit, Corrosion on a Wire Could Be The Cause Also or The Wah's Output Resistor (In a VOX V847 (80's) it's R4 470k Ohm) it May Have Gone Bad or Drifted or it May Have Possibly Been Damaged if You Were Running Your Gear on Opposing AC Outlets From The Buildings Breaker Box (And Possibly Other Components Such as a Transistor) It's Very Rare But it Can Happen.. I'm an Electrical Engineer and Service Tech So Trust Me I've Seen it All (Always Remember... Each Side of a Buildings AC Breaker Box Represents One Half of The Buildings 220/240 VAC (US).. So...If Any 2 or More of Your Units Has Any Potential to Both 110/120 VAC Feeds You Can Pretty Much Assume The Rest... And Like I Stated It's Very Rare But it Can and Does Happen... So.. Examine All The Wires in Your Unit Closely for Any Corrosion, Then Get a DMV and Check All Resistor Values in The Wah Against The Color Code Bands on Each Resistor and Check All Wires for Zero Resistance and Those Would Be a Good Places to Start)

    What kind of grease can you use on the pedal?

    • @Gaslight.Guitar
      @Gaslight.Guitar  2 роки тому +1

      I use WD40. You can also use bike chain grease. Maybe Google for more types you can use ;)

      White lithium grease

      @@joey-mp3qc I would use a dielectric silicone grease, even if it drops onto your electric components it won't conduct electricity and it wont damage rubber or plastics.
