It has?!? Dangit... and I got mentioned for it and all too... =( But ya, I used it in my High-INT build back in the day to absolutely pants Astel and the Ancestor spirits. =p Oh, also with the tip for the walking mausoleums... I tend to use a bow to take any of them out. Completely removes the risk of being squashed. Also, honestly guys... as a long-time Souls player (started with the OG Demon's Souls), a Bow is an extremely effective tool that all players should carry. In later games, a crossbow is also as effective depending on your build, but to grab aggro on an enemy, apply some status effects or just pick of an annoying enemy, the bow is invaluable. The only exception is, of course Bloodborne, but that's where the Pebble comes in =p
@@chuckchan4127 Yup it still extends the range with the talisman. The change is thag having the staff on the left hand is now the same as having it on the right.
I used a nearby Spirit Spring to jump on the Mausoleum's back. Took a few tries but you can try again a lot faster than climbing back up to that ledge.
Another cool thing I didn't know recently - if you summon a NPC to help with a boss fight, you can actually have them as a companion to help you clear other areas if you walk away from the boss fight. A good example of this is if you summon Nephali for Godrick's boss fight. You can walk away from the fog gate then have her accompany you throughout the castle and she can help you clear the courtyard (near the painting). I'm not sure the limitations nor how far she can follow you, but is is extremely cool!

2 things about the mausoleums. 1. In the late night hour time frame all but one of them in late game fall asleep. 2. The particular one you can bow at there is also a spirit spring nearby you can use to jump to it.
Greyoll's Roar, if used on a Mad Pumpkinhead with a flaming weapon, will extenguish said flame and make it all they can't hit you with their weapon anymore. It just passes right through you. They can still punch and headbutt though
Have you talked about Margit’s shackle hitting flame pillars at extreme range and toggling them, making it really easy to pop them to kill chariots or burial watchdogs?
Abt the 1 tip. Spinning strikes is the weapon art of the Splitleaf halberd in Dark souls 3 and it also does the projectile reflection there. Also, Storm caller/Thunderstorm ash of war also reflects projectile like Godrick does when he does it
Using the swarm of flies spell 3 to 4 times on the Abductor Virgin will cause it to be stunned, leaving an opening to the chest, and will give you a little bit of time to hit its weakness
Im using that combo on the cross naginata currently to great effect, bloodflame blade on a weapon with preexisting bleed is a ridiculous combo in general
For the very last part, the nearby spirit spring lets you just jump to the walking colosseum. Its what I did on my first playthrough and everyone since. I had no idea people struggled with this one.
For that walking mausoleum I didn't jump from a tombstone but instead used one of those air jetstream things. There's one right next to it that is supposed to be used to get to the top of the cliff from the water. They negate your fall damage so you can try multiple times per life and can even double jump while falling, although I didn't need to.
1.Arrows reach talisman also let's you zoom in further with binoculars! 2.Mausoleum sleep during morning times if you pass time to morning you can see they don't move! 3. Crystal darts confuse gargoyles and the big statue enemies
I don't know if this will get seen, or if it has been covered; but when going up the ramp to fight Moongrim(?) before Rennalla, you can completely avoid the giant rolling ball by hugging the right side when it first starts to roll, then after it rolls past, you can move to the left side to avoid it the second time.
Don't sleep on the candle stick hammer. The explosion can knock back groups and can catch people in pvp. The fire shooting everywhere helps keep people at distance too.
I wonder if all the spinning and deflecting ashes can be used against those stationary ballista or flamethrower things, the dude with the gun-shield, or the golems with the bows. It wouldn’t hurt them as shown here but it would be nice to know if its possible.
Not sure if it has come up before, but I was collecting the Erdtree Favour +2 talisman, while wearing the Black Knife Assassin armour and it seemed like the Ulcerated Tree spirits had no idea I was there. Are they blind and they couldn’t hear me either?
So I was just messing around gathering weapons and I notice that when the falling star beast is charging you, if your able to damage it you can cancel it's charge, I don't know the extent of what can accomplish this but black flame ritual stops it and knocks it away
There is better way to get on top of the walking mausoleum!! There is an airstream on the ground for a high torrent jump literaly next to it. Use that to jump on top of the mausoleum! Just run and jump and time the mid air jump right. You're welcome.
Off hand is the main hand for staffs in my opinion. Use staff off hand with the jellyfish shield or a weapon in the main hand. That's what's almost all mages do... Unless you double staff wield
Nobody seems to realize how to deal with that walking mausoleum. All you have to do is kill some of the soldiers patrolling near it that the mausoleum will get closer to the cliff edge. You don’t have to kill all the soldiers but 2 or 3 squads seems to bring the thing close to the cliff edge. I’m honestly surprised how so many people still struggle to get this guy.
Well sir at the walking colloseum you have to kill the soldiers down there and he will flee faster to the wall, than run to the spirit jump location and jump up and jump on him...^^
I have two more tips Shooting arrows straight down, a tactic i've been using since demons souls If there is an enemy right below you which you cannot seem to aim at or target it, it becomes 'impossible' to bow and arrow it but in later games people bypassed this issue by dropping roped firebombs But there's actually a way to do it (how long has demons souls been out for? i can't be the only one who knows about this right? XD) 1. turn camera around so the enemy can be targetted by the targetting system 2. You have less than 1 second now to fire an arrow as the game will deselect your target 3. repeat (turn camera, target, fire) easy :D I know you can use mists now to slowly damage your target too but if you want to stay low level and cheese stuff, this is the way to go XD Though if the possibility presents itself to lure an enemy off of a cliff that's always a better way Vyke took me like 200 arrows at level 10 to kill when i could have just have him jump off the cliff XD If you use both the assassins approach incantation and the assassins gambit ash of war you can stand next to most enemies and cast spells etc, they won't see you but if you as much as lick their tip of their weapon they will spot you, but only that one will activate as long as you don't attack back Easy kills on those wraiths, just run up to it and throw an emergency heal (at lv 16 fth without buffs i did 80% dmg on the ones in castle sol) Beware that some enemies can smell you, like dogs, fallingstar beasts, etc... (but not those nasty basilisks) I did siofria river at level 10 without having a single enemy enemy see me, only the mini boss smelled my presence when i came close (they still cannot see you)
@@shadechylde3790 yeah i got some low level twinks, it's the reason i play these games to annoy or help other people, i got some videos on an old channel of mine but they suck so i gave up on recording them
You'll have to try this out but sometimes maybe if you cast it with your left hand meteorites of astels middle meteor actually has tracking also use it against the fire giant and they will actually go upwards towards him obvs not seen much since people usually double staff it and cast it with their right hand
if the dolls of selevius are NPCs that are immune to damage and the ''devourer's scepter'' heals even if it does not deal damage , it can heal the player if we use it on selevius puppet!!!
Did you know that Loretta's Royal Knight Armor actually INCREASES Poise by 4 points AFTER you alter it. I suppose that's what we get for the ugliest armor in Elden Ring....lol Also the Lord of Blood's Robe increases Holy Damage Negation by 0.1 after it's altered... Maybe there's a reason for these increases but I have no idea
Unsure if this is me simply not remembering this when I did my first few runs, but after coming back to elden ring I noticed when I got to isolated divine tower, you can see faraam azula in the distance, this seems to be the only place you can see it as I remember never being able to see it, sorry if this is already known or me not remembering it correctly
On the mausoleum tip, you can just jump down from the cliff onto the spirit spring. Doesn't matter how high you are. Anywhere in Elden Ring. As long as you can see wind around you, you will land safe. Much safer and faster then trying to skip your way down on ledges.
Oh. I try not to double jump. I save the double jump only if I don't see wind circling me. You don't have to land center of spirit springs as long as you see the wind circling you.
There's a spirit-jump near the mausoleum just run over it and double jump, after you aggro the mausoleum to the right position! Another one is in the deeproot depths...
One of the puppest that murder an npc had glowing eyes in a no attack zone. It was also the middle one and I was so scared they would just jump me too.
I usually use the spiritspring jump to get to that mausoleum and it does work you just gotta time your jump it's way easier and your not going to die by doing it
You DO realize that there is an air spring for torrent that launches you right onto that masoleum right? it's to the right of where you dropped it against the cliffside...
There is at least one more way to make the mausoleum jump! When u kill all its guardians beneath it, it will go to the jumping platform and stay there. Than u just need to make ur way up and make an easy jump!
Has anyone ever notice how weird it is that Morgott never talks about Mohg but sort of trusted him to guard the shrine of the frenzied flame. Not to mention how would of it played out if Mohg had succeeded in his plan with miquella and backstabbed Morgott for the title of elden lord. I bet the battle would've been epic
I think the brothers understood each other and would not have stepped on each other's toes. They were both fanatics in their own ways, after all. The real tragedy of Morgott is he is not as delusional as Mohg and as such could appreciate how futile his devotion was. If it came down to those two I think one would bow out to the other. A bit of common courtesy to the victor.
At the 9th MT Gilmir campsite site of grace, i call torrent and he doesnt come, (its a bug) i need to rest at the camp and whistle again and it works after, it happened 2-3 times so far

That last tip on the walking museum I swear I’ve never seen that one! Looks like it’s around lunaria lakes? Can anyone give me a pointer as to where abouts it is 93hours in and that’s new to me 👍
There is a spirit spring right near the grace behind the warp gate in the area where that walking mausoleum is. And if you wait long enough the thing comes all the way right up next to you. Y’all using the wrong platform lol. So be patient and it will come up close enough and far down enough that you can even just regular jump on it without dying then u can just melee the skulls or if your impatient just use the spirit spring when it’s close enough either way you it’s going to take a min. I’m gonna go check to see if it’s there maybe I’m mistaken. But I was flabbergasted to find the thing comes up to you in multiple places. I just have to be patient. He is a very nice walking decapitaded demigod corpse castle. 😹

You don't have to jump on the Mausoleum's back. You can ride down there and do what we always do. Remove the Deathflame Frost from the Feet and it comes crumbling down. But a bunch of Mausoleum Guards and some Knights will spawn

Tip use a bow to shoot the flame traps in catacombs so you dont have to worry about dodging it
Margits shackle
The first one is the Splitleaf Greatsword from DS3, same mechanic of reflecting and all
I just used the spirit spring near that mausoleum to get up on top of it. It's a little finicky but it's safe and easy.
Well sir at the walking colloseum you have to kill the soldiers down there and he will flee faster to the wall, than run to the spirit jump location and jump up and jump on him...^^
I have two more tips
Shooting arrows straight down, a tactic i've been using since demons souls
If there is an enemy right below you which you cannot seem to aim at or target it, it becomes 'impossible' to bow and arrow it but in later games people bypassed this issue by dropping roped firebombs
But there's actually a way to do it (how long has demons souls been out for? i can't be the only one who knows about this right? XD)
1. turn camera around so the enemy can be targetted by the targetting system
2. You have less than 1 second now to fire an arrow as the game will deselect your target
3. repeat (turn camera, target, fire)
easy :D
I know you can use mists now to slowly damage your target too but if you want to stay low level and cheese stuff, this is the way to go XD
Though if the possibility presents itself to lure an enemy off of a cliff that's always a better way
Vyke took me like 200 arrows at level 10 to kill when i could have just have him jump off the cliff XD
If you use both the assassins approach incantation and the assassins gambit ash of war you can stand next to most enemies and cast spells etc, they won't see you
but if you as much as lick their tip of their weapon they will spot you, but only that one will activate as long as you don't attack back
Easy kills on those wraiths, just run up to it and throw an emergency heal (at lv 16 fth without buffs i did 80% dmg on the ones in castle sol)
Beware that some enemies can smell you, like dogs, fallingstar beasts, etc... (but not those nasty basilisks)
I did siofria river at level 10 without having a single enemy enemy see me, only the mini boss smelled my presence when i came close (they still cannot see you)
You seem to spend a lotta time at lvl 10...
12:45 Really? Never knew this was a "secret". I have always used a bow since since my very 1st playthrough lol.
"They just forgot to take out the code for the glowing eyes?"
Rule 1 of coding: If it works, don't touch it ever again unless specified otherwise.
if the dolls of selevius are NPCs that are immune to damage and the ''devourer's scepter'' heals even if it does not deal damage , it can heal the player if we use it on selevius puppet!!!
Did you know that Loretta's Royal Knight Armor actually INCREASES Poise by 4 points AFTER you alter it.
I suppose that's what we get for the ugliest armor in Elden Ring....lol
Also the Lord of Blood's Robe increases Holy Damage Negation by 0.1 after it's altered...
Maybe there's a reason for these increases but I have no idea
Whenever someone makes a, “10 tiny details you didn’t know about _____” no matter what, there’s going to be a lot
I’ve got the glowing eyes puppet before it was pretty cool
Unsure if this is me simply not remembering this when I did my first few runs, but after coming back to elden ring I noticed when I got to isolated divine tower, you can see faraam azula in the distance, this seems to be the only place you can see it as I remember never being able to see it, sorry if this is already known or me not remembering it correctly
There is a torrent jump on the ground near the walking maseleum you can use to jump on it
On the mausoleum tip, you can just jump down from the cliff onto the spirit spring.
I never knew that you could jump on that Mausoleum, I always just shot at it with my explosive greatbolts
If you time it right the moonveil ash of war can stop the Imps throwing knives
One of the puppest that murder an npc had glowing eyes in a no attack zone. It was also the middle one and I was so scared they would just jump me too.
Also if you lock on after the rock sling it will go to the target. I killed the Giant that throws the rock on top the hill with that lol😅
I wonder if spinning weapon with staves and such will also deflect like spinning slash
I’ve seen an ulcerated tree spirit in the haligtree with glowing eyes
Can you reflect spells ect with that ash of war?
I usually use the spiritspring jump to get to that mausoleum and it does work you just gotta time your jump it's way easier and your not going to die by doing it
Sounds like the devourer's Septer heal is like Melania's. With her even if you 100% block her she heals.
12:50
Or ya know..just use the jump pad with Torrent that’s to your right..pretty simple ngl
Now I'm not usually that guy but when you say reflection did you mean deflection?
i just saw this on a zuli the witch video but sanguine nobles don't have heads inside there hoods it's just the horns.
I do remember seeing the glowing eye puppets once or twice in game.
You DO realize that there is an air spring for torrent that launches you right onto that masoleum right? it's to the right of where you dropped it against the cliffside...
I saw a headless giant in raya lucaria, but it had floating, glowing eyes
There is at least one more way to make the mausoleum jump!
When u kill all its guardians beneath it, it will go to the jumping platform and stay there.
Than u just need to make ur way up and make an easy jump!
Ive always used the air gueyser near it to jump on that mosoleum. If u miss the jump u still dont die because u used the gueyser
the tower thingy at the end. you can also with luck use that jump pad. thats how i do it
Yay, more secrets.
The masuleum moves when you kill the guards
I saw an Erdtree Avatar with Golden Eyes once
What armor is that? It looks pretty cool
There's the mausoleum under leyndell that you need jump on to get to sit also
You can also use the air super jump on torrent to just jump on
The bolt of gransax can stagger lock rennala. She straight up can't attack.
At the 9th MT Gilmir campsite site of grace, i call torrent and he doesnt come, (its a bug) i need to rest at the camp and whistle again and it works after, it happened 2-3 times so far
Sp I managed to jump on that mosuleam and I was just standing there attacking the skulls and all of a sudden it dropped and threw me off scared the sh** out of me
Oh they are skulls! I thought it was ice.
For that mausoleum I just waited for it to be in range and blasted it with meteorite of astel took a few flask but did happen
Is the outro a song? And can i get the name
That last tip on the walking museum I swear I’ve never seen that one! Looks like it’s around lunaria lakes? Can anyone give me a pointer as to where abouts it is 93hours in and that’s new to me 👍
It's in the little bay near the high bridge leading out of the Academy (northeast).
Bro the beginning is the Spinning Leaf glave from Dark Souls 3
You can also use the sending spring near by to get on the mausoleum. That way you won’t die if you miss.
13 k to go. Pump those numbers up!!
concealing veil works better with lantern off. 😂😂❤
Radon is Marika but FIA is FortIssAx ? Lifeless body killed by D but it had no soul we kill her soul in dragon form leaving godwyn "companion" the same
its is odd to see ppl didn't know they can use bows on that , the first time i saw it there i told myself (will u cant reach there so try shooting at it)😂
Why not wait for the mausoleums to go to sleep and use a bow
isnt it better to shoot it with the canon?
dude its been 7 months since elden rings release. how are you still making videos on it
GTA V has been out 9 years and people still make new videos. Poobarama a recent new channel.
You don't have to jump on the Mausoleum's back.
You can ride down there and do what we always do. Remove the Deathflame Frost from the Feet and it comes crumbling down. But a bunch of Mausoleum Guards and some Knights will spawn
This one doesn't have any on its feet. But it does have a spirit spring nearby to launch you onto its back.
@@GreatBeanicus I always did it like that without a Problem, strange
