Probably your best review yet! I can see what Rashad is saying about the music but like you I have a nostalgic taste for the music in here! It definitely would have been interesting to see what the movie when have been like with a bit more “gritty” score!

Personally, I've always loved the Phil Collins music in this movie, but I do understand where Rashad is coming from and he's not the only one who thinks that way. I've always been a fan of Tarzan since I was a kid and it's one of my favorite Disney movies of the Renaissance era (easily Top 5 for me). Great review!

Excellent 90’s Disney animation. The Phil Collins score really elevates this movie. Also there are some great animation scenes like when Tarzan is swinging and running in the trees.
Still watch this all the time! I absolutely love the soundtrack! Nice review! ♥️

I''m right there with you, this is not just one of my favorite Disney films but one of my favorite animated films ever too! (Maybe my favorite of the Disney Renaissance as well if it wasn't for Lion King)

I know this wasnt the best with critics but Tarzan is one of my favorite disney animated movies of all time , definitely top 10 and also love animated anthony and rashad XD

I saw this movie in theaters at 5 and had toys from mcdonalds and watched it again in 1st grade like every other day while doing work and it was a point where I got tired of watching it lol but I still enjoy this movie like the music like it puts me in a different place I always get hyped when Tarzan changes from kid to adult with Son of Man song playing my favorite scene is when Jane is teaching Tarzan her name

The mix of 2D and 3D is amazing in this, I definitely think kids would be interested in that today, I hope Disney ends up making more of it with Disney Plus. Also, I think musical numbers work better when there’s a flow of 2D animation. I love Moana and Frozen but the pacing of the computer animation always looks a bit boring during the music numbers. 2d allows to make scenes really expressive, especially in this, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas and Lion King

I thought this was okay but I do like the music by Phil Collins. Also I kinda wished Sabor (the leopard) was the main villain of the movie instead of Clayton but keep the death.
That would’ve been cool to have Sabor as the villain, for sure. Thanks for watching!
Sounds very odd to say this but when I was a little boy Kerchak used to scare the pants off of me. I mean now as a grown up I can understand he was a protective parent silver back mountain gorilla but then again it was a strange time for me as a little kid. I was the kind of boy who was scared of everyone and everything. Now I am pretty fearless. To a point at least.
