Hello, great video... I also have a device like this that is stuck in the Android boot. I definitely don't have an RST button in the device. Do you know how to get to the factory reset? Hope you can help me with an issue I am having with the display. I had it installed by your Canadian counterpart. ( INAV at 4x4 shop) The issue is the screen in daylight / time is not in full brightness it sims as if it's in night mode. When I turn my high beams on the screen goes to full brightness, ( kind of reverse of what it should do 😢) any idea if some wires are crossed or some settings need to be changed

Great video do you know how to make UA-cam work (also while driving) for me it just plays the audio! Also the sound of my front parking sensors is not working since I have installed the system. Any ideas. Thanks a lot
UA-cam needs to be played direct from the screen by downloading the app on the Google play store. You cannot mirror it from your phone. Sensors may be a setting change you need to make depending on your system version. Contact your retailer for more on that.
Is there a way to get the Android Auto phone to work? In my GLK when a make or take a call, the "Telephone" app takes over which stops Google Maps and Android Auto.
I dont have a DMP Screen as I'm in the UK but got a 12.3" android screen. All features are identical. I've got the OEM split screen up but the large speedo is not showing. Instead there's a tiny white speedo about 2cm in size that shows me a speed so its working but is pretty pointless and looks terrible. Any idea how to fix that pls?

My NTG stopped showing up after months of working fine. It now shows "no signal" AFTER the mercedes boot up logo and the "do not get distracted" warning messages have briefly appeared. Any ideas please?

Yes count down your list and it’ll be that number for example music video aux down that list it’ll be number 3

Gr8 video! I had android 11 installed and running for 3 months now all of a sudden the oem reversing camera doesn’t work and the dashboard feature on the app doesn’t work either. Would you know what could be the issue? Update required maybe?
When you say dashboard feature, are you referring to the NTG original Mercedes menu?

Im trying to plug an aftermarket reverse camera (license plate one) and Im struggling to plug it to what cable ? I only have blue CCD 12v and a pink cable LVDS 12V.

CCD will work as video input. You need to wire the rear of the camera wiring into the positive of the reverse light wire in the boot/trunk that's the trigger to tell the screen to switch even in reverse. Earth to body in car boot.
Do we need hook up lg and gps antenna in order to work Carplay? Because there is no sound coming out after after the screen shows Carplay?I see it plays but no sound
CarPlay does not use the GPS antenna or 4G. The sound issue has another cause. We have a video to diagnose it. Check our channel or call us (786) 242-5400

My bluetooth is displaying not activated! Usually is displaying not connected. I restarted the whole thing with factory reset but still doesn't work. When I try to connect it connects displays timed out connection and disconnects????

You need to disconnect the OEM Bluetooth and use andoind Bluetooth only

Hi, I am having several issues but let's start with the screen resolution, I have a 2012 w212 with NTG 4.0 I have set the can protocol to NTG 4.0 but cannot get screen resolution above 400x240. when I do when I open NTG menu on the main screen It either goes blank and after a few seconds reverts back to the main screen or I get green vertical lines on the screen and have to tap screen to return. Any help is greatly appreciated
Try NTG 4.5 settings not NTG 4.0

I got rid of mine by playing around with the Car Display field in the Factory Settings. You probably have it set to half screen. If you switch it to something that doesn't say half screen it will keep the NTG only. One thing to note is that it will stretch your NTG display to fit the screen so it will look a little strange.

Bought a similiar screen for my CLA NTG 5.0, everything works fine until now haven't fully tested everything yet. Once issue i found when hitting it on Reverse camera wouldnt switch to OEM. Needed to change protocol.
But now got a strange issue regarding the sound. Sound works fine, even with Carplay. But the moment i get a phone call or try to call someone, there is no sound. The person hears me, it picks the OEM microphone but no sound.
Any help? Perhaps somebody faced the same issue?

Has anyone experienced the issue where no low end frequencies ( bass) is playing from the headunit? This is happening when using carplay or connected directly to the unit via Bluetooth. Ive tried playing music directly connected to the aux which causes an echo and also tested the speakers with a cd to make sure it wasn't my own system. any ideas?

Found the solution for this. There’s a small chip that comes with the kit. It has to be replaced with the one currently connected to the harness

since a few days my phone isn’t connecting anymore with the Bluetooth so no music calls car play of any kind works now and don’t know how to fix it
but at Bluetooth it now says not activated i think there’s something wrong with that.
also in the android Bluetooth setting it shows nothing really weird and it worked before so something must be not right

How to adjust the volume I have to turn it all the way up just to get sound to be little bit loud
In the settings you should be able to increase the sound. I had the same problem and toggling that audio setting to 100 fixed it.

@@nikoserna79 theirs a box you have to buy and have installed. I was told it will fix issue
that box is called dsp and only the screen seller can give you the right one for your screen. if you use vlc player you can adjust sound and watch films fine
My unit does continue playing music.. I have to manually press play again after I turn the car off then back on. 🤦🏽🤷🏽♂️

Please clarify what you mean by android mode. When you put your vehicle in reverse, the screen should automatically go into the reverse camera
@@accessoriesinternationalin6358 I figured that one out but that’s anyway, I’m having another issue when listening to music in aux mode I get a buzzing sound when the engine is running if I push on the gas the buzz gets louder seems like it’s only in aux mode I think it needs something like a filter or something for noise or is there a setting somewhere?

Is there a setting for the command knob , mines isn't working
You can access some command knob settings in the factory settings menu. I would also make sure all the wiring is properly connected if this doesn’t solve the issue.
