NO SOUND Checking list:
(1) Check if you have moved the optical fiber cable correctly.
(notice the direction of optical cable, and you should plug to right spot)
(2) Check if you have connected the "USB/AUX "Audio box
(3) Check if you have set the "AUX position" correctly.
(4) When your phone connected to Apple Carplay (or Android Auto), it not allow to connect to OEM Bluetooth, if not, it also have sound problem. - Авто та транспорт

Thanks for your sharing the knowledge. I have very limited knowledge about the wiring but with your advise, I could make it happened. Some important point is the AUX position number. Watch it carefully otherwise, sound would not come out as you wish. Thumb up and please keep on doing good things

I have just found out another point, if you start up the engine while the android was at the same stage befor you killed the engine, android sound would not work. You will need to go to original mb Radio and then, choose Media to start up android again, then you will get the sound.

Hi there. I have all cables connected including the usb in the armrest. I have no sound coming from the unit itself when playing UA-cam. CarPlay only works on Bluetooth.

1- 1ST AUXILIARY POSITION IS 3 ON MY CAR BUT WHAT IS THE 2ND?
2- In the Aux box, there is a button, what is that used for?

The NTG 5.0 , the sound work for USB, this video have told how to set it , also , I don’t clear “ button “ you mentioned.

Also i haven't connected fiber cable because i can't find it. Difficult to see in video, can you send picture of fiber cable please.

Thanks for the tutorials. They helped me a lot with the android screen setup. But... I'm getting some anomalies. Sometimes when starting the car, the screen is set to OEM and sometimes to Android, so when it is on OEM it is sometimes on the radio, sometimes on navigation or on media. Also, my iPhone sometimes connects to the phone and sometimes to car play. In short, I never know what will appear on the android screen when I start the car. do you know why
In the factory setting , it have a option to set it , you car set to OEM or Android home page or “ last mode” ,
Hi Paul thanks for this.... Any ideas why my same screen is showing a narrow grey bar at the bottom with climate controls which are flickering... I cant press any buttons behind this grey bar and nor can i remove.this grey bar... Is this a settings issue on unit defective?

@@HifimaxOfficial all workingnow .. changed protocol and now all working good... I was using hardrive in armrest with NTG... Can i use hardrive with the 2 x usbs from the android unit? How does one activate/ play from hardrive onto android screen?

My car doesn’t have the fiber optic cables. It’s a 2016 glc300. Will I need to use the auxiliary cable into the USB port in the armrest box?
The car with or without fiber optic cable, they are ok to install this android , and android screen, the sound go through AUX , so, if has nothing to do with the optical fiber cable.

thank you for the video, my is connected, it worked for few days and now it says device not supported when I plug in my USB. Can you help?

@@HifimaxOfficial I checked the settings as in your video, I even tried it with a new Android head unit, the USB ports ( two of them) will play music files from the USB drive but keep saying" the connected device is not supported". Sometimes it shows the Android interface as iPod. It worked once but now it does not work. Any help will be appreciated

@HifimaxOfficial so when you listen to the radio left side is oem right side is the blue speedometer. It's 260km or 280km and it doesn't move

I have a problem with turning on the left or light blinking light then on my screen it's showing up the original menu after I turn the Light of its getting back to android screen what's the problem maybe I have switch something?
