Simple GPS and WiFi Antenna Installation You don't need to install the GPS and WiFi antennas in a complicated and time-consuming way (like in this video). I tried installing the two antennas right below the subwoofer, and it has been working fine since July 2023 until today (February 2024). It's as simple as removing the adhesive backing and sticking it right below the subwoofer.
Did it end up getting good signal for both the Screen nav apps (like Google maps and waze) and for the wifi signal for wireless android auto/apple car play? It does seem to be much easier the wat you mentioned.
@@hjuninhoh Yes, it's very simple to set up. You just need to remove the subwoofer grille, underneath which there are two flat surfaces parallel to the windshield of the car. You stick two WiFi and GPS antennas there, then put the grille back on, and you're done. Use some apps like FAST Speed Test and GPS Test to check the signal strength again.
@@hjuninhoh no, just turning off the engine is enough. To make sure nothing unexpected can happen, it is best to touch a certain area in the engine compartment, the unpainted metal part to eliminate static electricity.
Hi great video really well explained I got everything in and done my original ntg menu was working then randomly when I click it it’s just a black screen
Several questions...those yellow and red USB plugs on the passenger side...what do you do with those? And the Antenna on the driver's side...what do you do with that? And do you have to have the antenna on the outside of the plastic trim? Can you stick it to the inside of the plastic trim to hide it? Also, I have the AMG. Will the AMG logo still display on the screen on startup? And, does the screen have a night-mode to dim the screen at night like the original?
The best explained Video on UA-cam. Thanks! Everything works except when I talk to one person on the phone, the other person hears an echo. What could be the problem?
Really great video! Follow each step and all the installation goes flawlessly. Can you help with the sync between video and music? Tried some videos and the video has almost 2 seconds delay from the sound….. really need help here….
Very nice, I want to buy the product. I read all the comments here. Everyone mentioned that there was a delay in the sound. Is there a fix for this? I also have a question. After the installation is done smoothly, does it go directly to Carplay when you get in the car? Or do I need to start carplay from the menu every time? Thank you very much in advance for your answer.
The most important questions on the video don’t haven an answer that put me off straight away about this system unfortunately I think looks great but with technology is very difficult as phones gets updated all the time and eventually the screen may won’t work correctly so I prefer keep my c63s original . 👍
When you put the car in reverse the rear view camera commands the display. Your radio still operates but the display changes to the rear view camera video. Once you put the car back in drive your screen automatically comes back.
Hi. What setting do I need to change to enable the factrory speakers on my GLC43 AMG? When I place a call, the person can hear me, but I can't hear them. I did not install the optional speaker.
I am looking at buying GLC 2017, Benzine version. 1: is it a good car in general with 125k KMs and 2: Does this mean that I can replace the current screen on it with something like this? 3: USB placement is the worst in MB, can they be replaced from the armrest to the "ashtray" area?
So, you leave us hanging on some cables. We run cables out the side of the console that have usb connections and then run them up to the head unit, but never tell us what the usb end is to be connected to. Then at the head unit you have us run a blue connection we removed from the original display along with another cable that we ran up to the opening that we were told to run through the hole on the left of the bracket that holds the head unit, but never told us what to connect those cables to, so I’ve got 4 connections I was told to run, but have nothing to connect them to.
Could anyone please share what is the back bracket (as shown at 21:47 in this video) product # or name as mine broke (dumb me, it cracked during installation) :(? Need to buy that separately. Also the power cable harness - where do I find that? It's now cut. ;(

This screen is fully compatible with your car, and after installation, it will provide two options: Android Auto and CarPlay, both of which are wireless (using Wi-Fi from the second connection onwards). This screen is available for purchase online, and installation is also very straightforward. However, when placing an order, you should provide the seller with information about the SIM card model from your local service provider, as it may vary by region and state. The price ranges from $630 to $800, depending on the screen size and internal memory capacity.
@@Son-m4a thank you for getting back to me , one more question? What’s the name of the company I can purchase the Android Auto kit from any links ?? Thanks
This is incorrect. The system upgrade will not damage/intervene with any original features or functions. All functions/features/vehicle information will continue to operate just as expected. Not electrical components will be affected during or after the installation. The system can be reverted back to stock at anytime, without any coding or special wiring.

@AlCabanas...hii!! I am also facing the same issue..did u manage to resolve it???If yes please share with me...thanks buddy!!
@@gauravrohatgi446 I think the problem is this box, Jack-USB converter. It's analog to digital sound converter. I don't think it is possible to resolve. I didn't try yet but we can try connect this unit with stock radio by bluetooth.
Great video, I’m based in the USA ,I have a 2015 C300 W205 sport package …, 1/ would your Apple CarPlay kit work on my car with it being a USA spec model? . 2/ would I be able to purchase this kit online ? 3/ How much ? I’m very interested. Please let me know. Many thanks . AJ
Thanks
Link in the description, you can purchase the complete kit there@@antonwill1656
Is there anyone NOT having audio lag with videos and calls? This is keeping me from purchasing any android screen.
Same to me
who in brisbane installs these?
Dont do this to your car, it will mess up many electrical components.
This is incorrect. The system upgrade will not damage/intervene with any original features or functions. All functions/features/vehicle information will continue to operate just as expected. Not electrical components will be affected during or after the installation. The system can be reverted back to stock at anytime, without any coding or special wiring.
