This worker a treat for me. Android 13 upgraded display on my W176 model, Mercedes A45. Reverse camera wasn’t engaging when using Apple Car Play (had to manually switch to the original system for it to work) - used the factory settings and changed the Can Protocol from 5.0C to 5.0A. All sorted and works as it should now.

Hello My friend, I have a problem with the rear camera, maybe somebody can help me. When Im using the ¨android¨ mode and I put reverse gear it doesnt switch in automatic the rear camera but if I´m in the NTG menu the camera works perfectly . I don't know if this is normal on all Android screens or it just happens to me and I have to change some settings.
Does the system have to be restarted after changing the CAN protocol? My original camera doesn't want to show anything or switch. The camera shows in the original menu

Mine started to switch screens, ill change it to reverse and the camera will show up and function but just switches back to the previous screen, if i stop and put it in park and switch to reverse it does the same thing, sometimes the switch is instant, never had this issue
I have the same problem. Hope someone can help with that issue.
@@LJ-oq8dc mine seems to fix now and then. I think its the wiring or the battery as an issue because my passenger seats wouldn't heat and the connection to the chair adjustment wasnt working but then after driving and charging the battery it was ok. I'm guessing it might be a battery issue and its not pushing enough voltage to the passenger area/camera. That or the fuses need replacing
i have a 4.5NTG and the NTG version in can protocoll is right but the backup camera still doesn't pop up

I have an issue about the ‘no signal’ and i use oem back up camera and everytime it comes on i have to reset my android screen couple of times for it to work again. also, while it happen n i try to go back my car oem infortainment it also say ‘no signal’ is there anyway to fix this?
Is this issue happening with the original screen? I’d recommend plugging it in to diagnose if the problem is coming from the original radio or the android screen.
We’d need to see the issue in person or video call to fully understand. Could be a variety of things. Call us for more info

I have problem on this radio i can’t connect bluetooth anymore on the app “telephone” it says connect time run out? It worked for 4 months. Now for some reason it doesn’t work any more. I tried reseting the whole system but still doesnt work any help?
how did you reset the whole system if I may ask?

Hello, got same device, but rear camera always NO SIGNAL, connection is good, and all so where should be problem? Mrcedes CLA C117,2013 without OEM camera
connect your 12v red wire to stereo Android wire called camera 12v. DO NOT connect it to reverse lamp (bulb 12v). same was to me until i tried this way and it worked. take 12v signal from android stereo, not from the reverse lamp.
i have another thing: on min 00:20 can somebody tell me how i deactivate that car picture with sensors grill? it is so anoying and eating half of my screen for nothing.
