1) brush twice day. 2)floss once a day. 3) scrap your tongue twice a day. 4)use deodorant twice (I prefer roll on deodrant) 5)use loofah while taking shower. 6) apply lotion to your body. 7) wash your hairs with shampoo in every 2-3 days. 8) apply perfume. (You can check brands like armaf, lattafa, rasasi, if you don't wanna break your bank).
This is the kind of content boys should start watching, it teaches us the importance of proper hygiene and self-care, simple things that are usually not taught and applied by many, awesome content dude!
i honestly forgot about this comment but i’m going to change it because a lot more people than i expected saw it. i don’t use antibacterial soap anymore; turns out doing so could be harmful in the long run since constant use of it will just create bacteria that are resistant to it. INSTEAD, exfoliate where you tend to get body odor. i use a sugar scrub for my armpits (dr. teals is really good and only like $10), and that gets rid of any odor there since it removes buildup of deodorant and sweat. there’s also exfoliating gloves and other alternatives for sugar scrubs if you don’t want that.
@@acewolf1 the skin across most of your body has good/healthy bacteria. a regular/mild soap or body wash should be enough to keep you sufficiently clean there. killing that harmless bacteria across most of your body is unnecessary. i recommend the antibacterial soap specifically for places that tend to smell worse if bacteria builds up there: armpits, feet, and the genital area. if you have body acne or you sweat lot of both, there are body washes specifically meant to help with body acne. if you just sweat a lot or live in a hot region, then you may just need to get a somewhat stronger soap, but antibacterial is probably overkill. maybe you just have dead skin buildup and need exfoliation? if you really can’t find anything else that works for what you need though, and you keep the antibacterial soap periodic like you said, then just try to moisturize after using it all over.
If you grapple like many Americans, then you'll want to use antibacterial/antimicrobial soap to get rid of staph bacteria and ring worm. Defense soap is a legit brand. Once you get it on yourself, apply an additional coat of lather with your favorite hydrating soap. Some soap that does hydrate well doesn't kill bacteria that causes skin infections
I'm semi-conflicted, I like to take showers daily but my family loves trying to make fun of me for taking showers daily so sometimes I'll wait a day or 2. I prolly should just ignore them and shower daily since that shouldnt even be a question, I do boxing and calisthenics so I get sweaty on a daily basis so I dont want to smell, its a no brainer for me to shower daily.
Bro no one should be making fun of you for showering daily, there’s nothing wrong with that. Maybe if you’re trying to go on like a ecological sense I could see why someone would have an issue, but taking care of yourself and your personal hygiene is completely okay bro 🤙
Pretty good guide. To take things a step further, I’d also like to recommend: - Always having a good mint, breath spray or gum on you at all times (Although constantly chewing gum isn’t the best thing for your teeth long-term) - A clean, masculine scented lotion that complements your scent profile (i.e. Bevel) - A high-quality body wash with a long lasting scent (I like Bevel and Old Spice Gentleman’s Blend) - Along with washing your hair semi-frequently, a nice-smelling leave in conditioner or hair spray never hurts - Don’t just wash your clothes with detergent, also use a scented fabric softener and add scented dryer sheets to your dryer load - Have an extra bottle of every-day cologne in your car or bag so that you can top-up throughout the day - Keep your body hair in check, stank lives in hair (especially under your pits) - Bonus: Crop Preserver Ball Deodorant by Manscaped to keep your huevos from getting sweaty and stankin’ Stay smooth, fellas. Let me know if I missed anything.
Everything you said was great, but just don't let your cologne sit in the car especially if it's hot outside. It will ruin it. Colognes are usually stored in cold places for example mini fridge to prevent it from heat. Good thing you shared all this tips for people who need it. Cheers!
Out of all the years I've been watching UA-cam videos, this is the FIRST video I've seen that gives great advice for personal hygiene. Loved this video, especially the fact that it's straightforward and doesn't try to use awkward terminology to get the point across. Great informative video.
Here's my few cents: Showering - Use a loofah, never EVER just use your hands. Trust me, it doesn't work as good, you will smell a lot cleaner & stay a lot cleaner for longer if you use a loofah, ESPECIALLY under your armpits. I've refused to use one all my life, until around 2 years ago. It changed everything. My back is finally free of any zits and everything, my skin is smooth and just perfect. Just don't use it in your face. Anywhere else is totally fine. I also recommend this one if you're a bit lazy - Throw a second loofah onto the ground, it's gonna be your feet-loofah. It'll make sure that your feet are clean clean, too. And keep it that way, don't use it for your body. Also you don't have to buy extremely expensive overpowering bodywashes like this dude. Get a rather neutral thing like Nivea with good cleaning abilities. Also WASH YOUR DAMN ASS AND LEGS AND BACK. Girls will thank you and stay with you. Same about feet. Colognes - You don't always have to buy the most expensive brands. Inform yourself, get into dupes, fragrance-clones, I own a few branded ones like Tom Ford or PdM, but I also own lots of "clones" that smell just like the real deal, sometimes even better. Trust me, don't waste money. Especially with basic designer fragrances like Sauvage, Azzaro line, that stuff. It's boring, everyone smells like it, you won't stand out. Get into the fragrance community and you'll find a whole new world. Make yourself special, stand out. Also, as he said, never use too much. Some colognes need more, some less. You WILL turn noseblind after a few minutes, your colonge will NEVER smell to you like it smells to others, because you're ALWAYS around it. Noseblindness is completely normal, just like you're used to your messy stinky room, you won't smell it. Others do. Trust me. It stinks BAD. Deodorant - Neutral. Never ever buy scented deodorant. It's the worst thing ever. Get a 72h deodorant, either spray or gel, I always recommend Nivea 72h. It's neutral, slightly floral, but you'll never ever smell like sweat again, and if you sweat, it won't smell too. Why? Because you don't have several nasty ass fragrances sitting between your arms, which will just WORSEN the smell big time. BUY NEUTRAL DEODORANTS! Clothes - Always remove your clothes out the washer as soon as they're done. Maximum 3 hours, not more, you should've taken them out by them. Otherwise they will start having a funky old closet smell. Hair - Conditioner. Conditioner, conditioner, conditioner. Just shampoo won't make your hair smell good, it may only smell good for an hour. Conditioner will keep your hair fresh for DAYS ( You should still wash them though). Privates - Get a good anti bacterial wash for your private parts. Something with tea tree oil. It'll keep you fresh and neat down there, you'll NEVER have to worry about smells again. Especially a huge tip for my foreskin-owners. You still have to keep your hygiene, but a good wash WITH TEA TREE OIL will remove any long lasting smells that may have bugged you. Just make sure it's a wash, and not straight up oil, because it'll harm you. These are a few of my tips. Depending on your skin I'd also maybe use lotion, but it's not important at all. Just follow these things, don't mix up tons of scented stuff, stay NEUTRAL with most of your stuff, just make sure it works. Your cologne should always be the scent of you, not your bodywash or deodorant, because that's what children do. With lots of regards, a dude who's 100% straight so you don't have to act like I'm some gay dude, which is absolutely stupid. I'd talk to some gay people if you have problems with your hygiene, because they will upgrade you to a different level. That's how I learned all of this, and trust me - It works. Gay dudes are angels and lifesavers, they want you to have game.
@@Lovestay822 I have neurodermatitis since childhood, extremely sensitive skin, and been using a loofah for several years now. Nothing has happened, my skin is fine, wonderful, and thriving. But yes, you have to try for yourself to see if your skin doesn't mind.
Working out and getting into shape and doing cardio I believe can help a lot with sweating, keeps your body fat low so you don’t sweat as much and allows you to walk further without smelling and doing other things, also staying hydrated can help too
@@jesusisking3814 no offense but no one is going to read all that, maybe another method of gospel would be more useful bc tbh spamming like that will just annoy others, at least they will ignore it and at worst they will fight although maybe that's what you are looking for.
As someone who has been called “obsessed with cleanliness” and “weird” for having a washing schedule for my pillows, and “taking forever brushing my teeth”, you’re 100% on point here. Pro-tip: use exfoliating washing gloves, you will scrape off dead skin cells DAILY for the evening shower, and your bed sheets will remain fresh for much longer; and the subsequent morning shower can be quick and STILL complete
@@kiktik2413 nah lol once a day, the morning shower is taken place without the scrubber or else, and you are correct, i WOULD def have skin problems I should have been specific in mentioning that the exfoliating gloves are only for the evening shower, hence the morning one is quicker
Please do not brush your teeth for more than 2 minutes, any more than 3 minutes will literally start scraping off your tooth enamel and even showering twice a day is really bad for your skin
Body odor really matters. I went to my friend’s house (he smokes quite a lot) and slept there for a only one night. It took me 3 days to get rid of that smell.
As a woman i recommend always remember to wash your hands properly at least every time after using the loo. I also believe that cheap cosmetics are not bad or even worse than some more expensive ones. It is worth paying attention to their composition, not the price. Shampoos for the scalp, not the hair. And change your sheets every week.
@@seekingdeen. I respect you a lot for that. In my country, there are still many people (most are educated and earn enough or a lot of money and they have money for water, soap) who do not wash their hands after the toilet or at all. In my opinion, practicing the basic principles of hygiene, i.e. washing yourself every day and washing your hands after using the toilet at least, makes people attractive. Take care 👋
@@bilaltariq2364 If I have access then yes. Otherwise (maybe not the best alternative, but in "emergency" situations, i.e. away from home, in a hotel) I use wet toilet paper. Or/and I just wash myself in the shower.
No, Creed is not known for producing long lasting scents. Just had to comment that to prevent the spread of misinformation. Creed within the fragrance community is the most overrated niche house and is notorious for producing overpriced scents that doesn't last.
@@sociopath2108 sure. Initio Side Effect. Xerjoff Naxos. Parfums de Marly Carlisle. Chanel Allure Homme Blanche. Xerjoff Torino21. Xerjoff Mefisto Gentiluomo. Maison Francis Kurkdjian Oud Satin Mood Extrait
@@sociopath2108 btw there’s many cheaper scents out there ( no super cheap, I’ll avoid those. I’m talking like $90-$140 range). Most important thing is to find something that you love and that is pretty versatile for your first scent as well as being decent lasting. Test scents before buying. Good luck🙌
I'm at a natural disadvantage in this respect, as I was born without a sense of smell. I brush twice a day, floss once a day, wear unscented antiperspirant, wash my hair 2-3x a week, shower daily, and that's about it. I go for a "smell like nothing" approach if at all possible, since I can't smell I can't judge if I think whatever scent I may have put on might not suit me.
@@fived9424 how would you describe smelling normally anyway? it'sn extremely difficult question to articulate for anyone, let alone someone who might not know wtf it means
Expensive doesn't always mean better. There are a lot of cheap/budget soaps and fragrances out there that do the trick. You don't have to wear Tom Ford or use the expensive body wash you recommend to smell good.
1. Brush your teeth at least twice a day. 2. Floss twice a day (either with dental floss or a waterpik). 3. Scrap your tongue twice a day. 4. Use mouthwash twice a day. 5. Shower at least once a day with a bodywash or a bar of soap. Make sure you clean your whole body, including your butt crack and between your toes (parts that a lot of people ignore). 6. Wash your hair at least every 2-3 days. If you style your hair with product daily then wash it every night. Sleeping with product still in your hair can damage it, makes it harder to get out the next morning, and can result in bad smells. 7. Keep your clothes clean, change them daily, wash them weekly. Use scent boosters and dryer sheets to make them smell better. 8. Use deodorant or antiperspirant, especially if you are active or work out. If you are prone to sweating, then you should check out sweat blockers (Certain Dri and Sweat Block wipes are two very effective options). 9. Keep your body hair trim (armpits, chest, pubes, etc). The hair follicles can trap moisture and smell. 10. Use cologne. Make sure it smells good and DON'T OVER APPLY. Too much cologne is worse than too little cologne. Apply a spray behind each ear and maybe on the back of your neck and you're good to go. Don't waste cologne on your wrists. If your cologne doesn't have much lasting power, layer it with lotion and it will last the whole day. 11. Ball deodorant. If you are getting a lot of action, the women will appreciate you having nice smelling junk. 12. Keep your shoes clean. Dirty shoes often smell bad, so clean them regularly. Also, try shoe deodorizing spray to keep them smelling nice, and if you don't want to shell out the money, a few dryer sheets or tea bags can work. 13. Change your sheets regularly. After a while the dead skin cells and bacteria built up and you end up rolling around in them in your sleep.
if bidet at home isn't available, I wonder how hard for some people to wash thoroughly 💩 in the shower? especially after taking a dump it is so convenient to hop on the shower.
I've been doing all of these things and I like to believe I usually smell good, but what messes everything up for me is external smells. Like when I go to a restaurant, when I or someone else is cooking etc, I feel like the smell really absorbs into my clothes and even my skin, even after only 5 minutes. Maybe I have a sensitive nose but it annoys the hell out of me and there's nothing I can do about it aside from wearing fresh clothes (which is usually not an option except at home) or spray more perfume which gets overpowering
Certain smells hang around you more than others because of their chemical makeup. Seafood is notorious for this, especially salmon. If you eat salmon your clothes WILL smell like it for the next couple days unless you wash them.
I don't think most guys realize how important smell is. In many cases, good face and bad smell is on level with bad face and good smell. It's your aroma: it immediately gives them an impression of your personality and habits.
one moment i appreciated the most, even at the time of being a cocky 15 year old was when i was at a birthday party, 7 or 8 people and one of my friends walk up to me once everyone was out of the room and said "hey bro, im not being mean or anything but you smell" then proceeded to give me deodorant and cologne never forgot that moment and always shower DIRECTLY before an event and always carry deodorant now
Watched this video and bought myself a Molton Brown body wash. To say it was life changing was an understatement, especially on days where I did not feel the need to put on any perfume, yet still wanting a light pleasant scent. In the bath, it lathers up well, opening up with it's scent, yet not too overpowering. It then lingers on the skin long enough to not be projecting, but instead be an intimate scent. Clean and luxurious. It definitely would leave an impression in much more intimate settings. Should it not be for it's steep price tag, definitely an easy reccomend for everyone.
I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I’ll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.
I had always problems with a bad smell even right after showering. I used every kind of product to get rid of that but nothing worked for me until I started working out regularly and changed my diet ;)
This is the kind of advice so many guys need! I add, wash hair and body with mild products but frequently, like every day. You won’t dry out your skin if the products are mild ( and you use cool/lukewarm water). Even if your skin in greasy don’t be tempted to use harsher products; this just encourages your skin/scalp to produce more oil. Let’s also not be coy here - make sure to wash thoroughly under your foreskin (if you are uncircumcised) every day! Same goes for your butt too! Man made fibres in clothes e.g. polyesters and nylons trap bacteria and will smell, so if you wear these be careful. Also if you go to the gym - USE THE SHOWER IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS! Much better to wash off sweat and grime straightaway. I find it incredible how many guys workout then spray on deodorant and put their clothes back on. Yeuch! You won’t know it (we don’t smell our own smells very well) but you will stink - either of sweat or too much deodorant. REALLY, shower at the gym! No excuses! Finally go easy with cologne, too much is terrible, and it should never be used to cover up other smells.
@@siegfriedu By "Foot Fungus" I think you mean Athlete's Foot (or tinea pedis) which is a fungal infection. Yes, it is possible to pick this up in gym showers but the solution is simple - dry your feet thoroughly. The fungus loves warm moist environment so drying properly (and adding a little anti-fungal talc) means you will be fine. I have never been troubled by this.
@@guacamolebolt A rinse is better than nothing, but use a mild shower gel to get properly clean. Key word here is MILD, your skin does not like harsh detergents or being stripped of all oil.
another huge thing about cologne is don’t just buy the one that’s “popular or reccomended” cologne’s scent will change based on how it interacts with the oils on your body. Try it out in person always before buying it or buy a sample selection of multiple different scents so you aren’t stuck with a 400 dollar bottle of cologne that doesn’t suit you etc
A tip I might add: I always spray cologne in my wardrobe/wherever I store my clothes. My clothes catch the scent when I want to put them on and it's amazing.
theres countless self-improvement tips about mindset, lifting, meditation, etc. but a noticeable lack of something so basic and important. hygiene. im glad that this video is here for young men. theres this weird dichotomy with men's hygiene. the clean men are the actually attractive men, even if their short, or not jacked or whatever other blackpilled trait you wanna mention. but for whatever reason, hygiene is seen as feminine and often stigmatized (usually by other men). and men have a stereotype of being dirty. which is a result, and a cause of this. this is a good video, I hope the guys who need it see it. because as a high school student. they REALLY, REALLY need it. 🤢
If I had to recommend 3 inexpensive colognes to start out with, I would say Drakkar Noir (work, gym, everyday), Nautica Voyage (summertime, aquatic), and Versace Eros EDP (date night, formal). Some might disagree with that list, but I personally really like those fragrances. My man kinda just skimmed over the cologne selection and said "Buy Tom Ford and Creed," which are great brands, but also some of the most expensive out there.
Versace Eros for a formal situation immediately showcases you dont know much about fragrances. This one is loud and intrusive, in an official setting you want to smell clean and subtle
@@johnfrazier5458 Don't get me wrong, Eros is a top notch fragrance and women will love it on you. I said that for a formal occasion, for example the office, you definitely shouldnt be wearing Eros.
@@broadcast3ful I understand. When I think of formal, I think of going to church or a wedding, but in a business setting I would agree that Eros is not the way to go. As a serious question though, what would you personally recommend is a good formal fragrance?
@@johnfrazier5458 If you go to a church with Eros..... Jesus, it can be like... well going to church with one million. That heavily depends on how you spray, most people underspray so no one smells them, but a beast like eros or 1 million, even 3 sprays can choke people out in close quarters. For formal fragrances, you usually want something that isnt too intrusive in terms of smell. Something that smells clean and doesnt project too much, and it doesnt have notes that can be easily disliked like leather and heavy ambroxan. Green irish tweed, Bvlgari man, prada lhomme, acqua di gio profumo (a bit more risky but can be pulled off), blue de channel etc
Another thing for underarm odor-if you have an acid for acne treatment like AHA or BHA, such as in Stridex wipes, you can wipe it under your pits before showering to help kill the stinky bacteria. Then soap under there, moisturize and apply deodorant. It's important to pay attention to parts that contribute to stink disproportionately. No nasty pits or swampass or grimy scalp
ik i dont smell bad as i get compliments lots saying i smell good and i really try to keep it that way cause for some reason its just the best compliment ever nothing compares tbh
If you die tonight, do you know where you're going? Did you know that Jesus Christ is THE Truth, the life and the only way to Heaven? Revelation 20:15 ''Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.'' Through Jesus Christ, God offers you a FREE gift - forgiveness. All you need to do is repent, turn away from your sins and evil ways, from now on put your faith completely in Jesus Christ and be obedient to Him. Biblical explanation of the Gospel: God doesn’t want anybody in hell, but you must understand why we deserve hell and why those who refuse to live under His authority will go there. He gave us the law (Ten Commandments) not to make us righteous, but rather to show us our sin (Romans 3:20). God gave us free will and since Adam sinned in the garden, sin is the nature of our flesh and we ALL have sinned. (Romans 3:23) The law demands death to those who sin (Romans 6:23). Since we have all sinned, we all deserve hell. Revelation 21:8 says that all liars will go to hell. Yes, even if you have lied once in your life, you are sentenced to hell - that's how high God's standards are of moral perfection because God is holy and righteous, there is not one sin in Him. For someone to be justified before holy God they have to be sinless, that's why everyone need Jesus Christ - for He lived a sinless life, died on the cross and rose from the dead on the third day. None of us are good in God’s eyes, because for God good means moral perfection. We all have broken God’s commandments, we all have sinned in our lives so none of us are good. ‘’For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.’’ (James 2:10). Our carnal mind is hostile to God; it does not submit to God's moral law and it never will (Romans 8:7). We hate the thought of God for the same reason a criminal hates a policeman - we know we have sinned against God and are guilty of it and we don't want to be damned. No good works will ever save you. You can't earn salvation by good works, because God will judge us for our sin. Good News is that Jesus Christ lived a perfect, holy, sinless life and He died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried and He was raised from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.’’ (John 3:16) We aren’t saved by our good works, but only by the grace of God through faith in Christ. ''For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Jesus said ‘’it is finished’’ (John 19:30) just before He died on the cross, which means He paid the fine for our sins (past, present, future) to be forgiven only IF we repent and trust in Him. This is how you can get saved from sin and hell - repent of your sins and trust in Jesus Christ. Get to know Him by reading God's Word. So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.” (Luke 11:13) ''What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!'' (Romans 6:15) ''Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out'' (Acts 3:19) Repentance is a turning away from sin and all evil works, and it always results in changed behavior (Luke 3:8). Biblically, a person who repents does not continue willfully in sin. While sorrow from sin is not equivalent to repentance, it is certainly an element of scriptural repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). Do not play a hypocrite. ''God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.'' (1 John 1:5-6) (John 3:3) Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again." If you have repented and have genuine faith in Jesus Christ then you will receive the gift of Holy Spirit and be born-again spiritually. When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession - to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:13-14) Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (John 3:36) ''You will know them by their fruits'' (Matthew 7) If you have been truly born-again with the Holy Spirit and He has regenerated your heart, you will desire righteousnes - to do what is good and righteous in God's eyes, to seek God everyday in His Word and prayer, to strengthen your relationship with God. You will no longer desire to willfully continue living in sin but will want to obey God out of your love for Him because of His amazing grace revealed to us through the death and resurrection of His Son. ''Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.'' (2 Corinthians 5:17) ''For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.'' (Eph 2:10) You will have a testimony - of what your life had been before and how has it changed now when you have surrendered it to Lord Jesus Christ. As a declaration and affirmation of your faith in Jesus Christ, get baptised in water because He commanded us to do so. In John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.'' ''Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit'' (Matthew 28:19) ''Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.'' (Acts 2:41) ''And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you also - not the removal of dirt from the body, but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God - through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,'' (1 Peter 3:21) ''We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.'' (Romans 6:4) ''Having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.'' (Colossians 2:12) Please get right with God and get to know Jesus Christ personally today before it’s too late, because there’s not much time left! "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.’’ (Mark 13:32) Get to know Christ through God's Word - Bible. At first I recommend reading Gospel of John and book of Romans. God bless you! Jeremiah 29:13 - ''You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.''
An alternative to Bidet is using Wet Wipes (Wet Ones here in North America). Get scented ones and you will be fresh as a baby - carry them around. For cologne, carry a perfume atomizer and fill it up with your favorite cologne.

To maintain personal hygiene, I have a few tips that might be helpful: - Consider using antibacterial body wash from reputable brands like Dettol to keep your skin clean and healthy. - Apply antiperspirant around your groin area to stay fresh and odor-free. - To keep your clothes smelling fresh, try soaking them in borax, vinegar, or baking soda before washing. - If you have a long day ahead and can't change your clothes, use body wipes and antiperspirant deodorant to stay fresh and clean throughout the day. - Keep a bottle of antibacterial fabric spray handy to use as a temporary fix if your clothes start to smell. - Maintaining good oral hygiene is also crucial, so be sure to gargle with mouthwash and visit the dentist regularly. - It's always helpful to have a friend or partner who can give you a heads up if you start to smell. - To avoid smelling bad, try to limit your intake of potent and spicy foods. - Don't forget to brush your teeth after every meal and chew gum occasionally to keep your breath fresh.
Just a bit of a correction, antibacterial soap should only be used in the places that stink a lot. I.e. armpits, toes, groin and between the cheeks. Antibacterial products can get really dehydrating for the skin, and no one wants to moisturize their whole body. So maybe just avoid that and use your antibacterial soap scarcely. What it actually does is eliminate the bad smelling bacteria, since sweat on its own doesn't smell, it's the bacteria that thrives in a warm, damp environment.
@@Kakashkai sorry my bad, I forgot to account for different skin conditions and other factors such as climate. Everyone, please DYOR before following any of the advise
If your armpits smell badly even after showering, you should try applying a small amount of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) while your armpits are still wet. I've been using this trick for months and some of my classmates started doing the same.

I have no idea why I have this issue, but oral hygiene is incredibly hard for me to keep consistent. I'll keep up brushing twice a day, flossing and mouth washing for maybe a week and then I'll just stop doing it for some reason for sometimes a fortnight at a time, its really bad. But I don't have this issue with any other daily routine: I shower once a day no matter what, deodorant, fragrance, gym, healthy eating, I keep a reed diffuser in my dorm room stocked up. Why can't my mind just recognize it as an important daily thing i need to do =(
If anything, caring for your teeth is the most important thing for self-hygiene because it's the only thing that if you neglect the effects will be permanent. It only takes like 5 minutes out of your day and you will thank yourself in the future if you stick to it.
You're missing alot. Always clip your nails once a week too. Oil your hair, a light scented oil. I use Vatika Black Seed. Clean your ears. Use good fabric conditioner. Change your socks and boxers daily, preferably your shirt too. Clothes that can go longer like Jeans, be careful with when you wear them so they don't pick up spills and smells. If they do, wash them. Keep your shoes clean, not just on the outside, but, inside too. Shave your balls and armpit hairs or at least trim them down and groom. Groom your hair and beard. Keep your car clean and smelling nice too. If you're in rain, don't just rely on drying your clothes, sometimes rain leaves an odour. Make sure you're not living in a damp place. And, don't mingle with dirty stuff unless you have your 'work clothes on'. Shower after hard labour and gym. Mouth wash after eating a meal.

Only reason of body odour is the use of detergents, soaps and disinfectants. If you have a covering of good bacteria, not only will it help with bas odour, but it will also give you better immunity. Curd or yoghurt or fermented foods are full of bacteria but rarely smell bad unlike trash cans.
Guys, just in case you miss this point of human relationships, when you like someone’s sweat odor, it’s the definitive turn on 😂. So being clean is important, and being conscious and considered with your armpits may be as well, but try to use neutral deodorant. I have had this happen to me twice, and let me tell you boys, if you like her smell (not her perfume, her true smell) then you like every single part of her (you know what i’m saying lol) and it’s the same for them too. Plus, it’s been studied that your brain predisposes to enjoy sex a lot more. So basically, let hormones do the job, just be clean. Best thing i’ve done to myself. Yes, sure, you maybe won’t be as “appealing” for a one night stand, but if a girl actually likes your body odor, that’s mind blowing out of the house sex almost guaranteed. That and mantak chia. @S I often go for a few days but then binge. I DON'T recommend smoking, however it is a part of my summer style and cigarettes go well with many outfits. I hate it in the winter because I look homeless smoking with my coat and hat on.
Most people don't know how to wash their mouth. It's their mouth, not just "their teeth". Most of the bad breath smell comes from an unclean tongue but surely enough, flossing is quite a plus. You don't need a tongue scraper, just your regular toothbrush and develop your own way of doing it (at first you will be too sensitive to it, but then you get used) and try to be thorough.
So true everything in here I’d also add that washing often doesn’t just mean showering, ppl don’t wash their hands enough. Washing hands isn’t just for getting rid of germs, because our hands pick up smells and oils from food, touching surfaces, and sweat. They can smell easily

i honestly forgot about this comment but i’m going to change it because a lot more people than i expected saw it. i don’t use antibacterial soap anymore; turns out doing so could be harmful in the long run since constant use of it will just create bacteria that are resistant to it.
Can I just use anti bacterial all over every 2-3 days?

I love how straight forward and on-point this guy is.
Pretty good guide. To take things a step further, I’d also like to recommend:
- Always having a good mint, breath spray or gum on you at all times (Although constantly chewing gum isn’t the best thing for your teeth long-term)
- A clean, masculine scented lotion that complements your scent profile (i.e. Bevel)
- A high-quality body wash with a long lasting scent (I like Bevel and Old Spice Gentleman’s Blend)
- Along with washing your hair semi-frequently, a nice-smelling leave in conditioner or hair spray never hurts
- Don’t just wash your clothes with detergent, also use a scented fabric softener and add scented dryer sheets to your dryer load
- Have an extra bottle of every-day cologne in your car or bag so that you can top-up throughout the day
- Keep your body hair in check, stank lives in hair (especially under your pits)
- Bonus: Crop Preserver Ball Deodorant by Manscaped to keep your huevos from getting sweaty and stankin’
Stay smooth, fellas. Let me know if I missed anything.
Everything you said was great, but just don't let your cologne sit in the car especially if it's hot outside. It will ruin it. Colognes are usually stored in cold places for example mini fridge to prevent it from heat. Good thing you shared all this tips for people who need it. Cheers!

Here's my few cents:
Showering - Use a loofah, never EVER just use your hands.
Thank you

Sorry, but " layer it with lotion"? I have never heard of this. How and with what lotion can you " layer it"

Great to see content that helps guys out without being toxic or depressing
I don't think most guys realize how important smell is. In many cases, good face and bad smell is on level with bad face and good smell. It's your aroma: it immediately gives them an impression of your personality and habits.
one moment i appreciated the most, even at the time of being a cocky 15 year old was when i was at a birthday party, 7 or 8 people and one of my friends walk up to me once everyone was out of the room and said "hey bro, im not being mean or anything but you smell" then proceeded to give me deodorant and cologne
never forgot that moment and always shower DIRECTLY before an event and always carry deodorant now
Watched this video and bought myself a Molton Brown body wash.
Thanks for the advice. I'll definitely try those, but for now I've got to return some video tapes.

Finally, no preaching or stupid sidestepping. Just pure instructions. Love it
I told my friend he smells and he got very offended. But did keep up on his hygiene after that.
No excuses!
Finally go easy with cologne, too much is terrible, and it should never be used to cover up other smells.
noob question, if you shower at the gym, arent you worried about getting foot fungus from the ground or do you carry a pair of slippers with you?
2:54 I’m so glad that you mention this. Some men might smell good but the moment you walk behind them it smells like… you know what.
Pete and Pedro the best, really recommend, it makes my hair really soft.
I've just voluntarily watched a 4½ minutes video of advertising
worked at a doughnut shop for 4 years. My friends said I always smelled good. lol
SO proud I do all these.
So glad I found such a in depth video keep it up
If I had to recommend 3 inexpensive colognes to start out with, I would say Drakkar Noir (work, gym, everyday), Nautica Voyage (summertime, aquatic), and Versace Eros EDP (date night, formal).
@@broadcast3ful I don't know a whole lot, but I like Eros. Personally I use Obsession For Men by Calvin Klein
How to prevent swampass😂
You earned my sub for sure, this is the kind of content that when applied will more than likely change your life and show results
Videos are straight to the point. Love it :)
ik i dont smell bad as i get compliments lots saying i smell good and i really try to keep it that way cause for some reason its just the best compliment ever nothing compares tbh
Best tip for sweaty/smelly armpits - get Eucerin Anti-Transpirant spray. Works great - it's not just a deodorant, but a pharma product.
Washing armpits with any benzoyl peroxide wash for a few minutes usually kills the bacteria that causes smells there for the rest of the day.
what about alcohol
As woman this is best advice for guys I have ever seen.
as a guy, i agree
If you die tonight, do you know where you're going? Did you know that Jesus Christ is THE Truth, the life and the only way to Heaven?
Revelation 20:15 ''Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.''
Through Jesus Christ, God offers you a FREE gift - forgiveness. All you need to do is repent, turn away from your sins and evil ways,
from now on put your faith completely in Jesus Christ and be obedient to Him.
Biblical explanation of the Gospel:
God doesn’t want anybody in hell, but you must understand why
we deserve hell and why those who refuse to live under His authority will go
there. He gave us the law (Ten Commandments) not to make us righteous, but
rather to show us our sin (Romans 3:20). God gave us free will and since Adam
sinned in the garden, sin is the nature of our flesh and we ALL have sinned. (Romans 3:23)
The law demands death to those who sin (Romans 6:23). Since we have all sinned, we all deserve hell.
Revelation 21:8 says that all liars will go to hell. Yes, even if you have lied once in your life, you are sentenced to hell - that's how
high God's standards are of moral perfection because God is holy and righteous, there is not one sin in Him.
For someone to be justified before holy God they have to be sinless, that's why everyone need Jesus Christ
- for He lived a sinless life, died on the cross and rose from the dead on the third day.
None of us are good in God’s eyes, because for God good means moral perfection. We all
have broken God’s commandments, we all have sinned in our lives so none of us
are good. ‘’For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is
guilty of breaking all of it.’’ (James 2:10). Our carnal mind is hostile to God; it does not submit
to God's moral law and it never will (Romans 8:7). We hate the thought of God for the same reason a criminal
hates a policeman - we know we have sinned against God and are guilty of it and we don't want to be damned.
No good works will ever save you. You can't earn salvation by good works, because God will judge us for our sin.
Good News is that Jesus Christ lived a perfect, holy, sinless life and He died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
He was buried and He was raised from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever
believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.’’ (John 3:16)
We aren’t saved by our good works, but only by the grace of God through faith in Christ.
''For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -
not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Jesus said ‘’it is finished’’ (John 19:30) just before He died on the cross, which means He paid the fine for our sins
(past, present, future) to be forgiven only IF we repent and trust in Him.
This is how you can get saved from sin and hell - repent of your sins and trust in Jesus Christ. Get to know Him
by reading God's Word.
So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.” (Luke 11:13)
''What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!'' (Romans 6:15)
''Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out'' (Acts 3:19)
Repentance is a turning away from sin and all evil works, and it always results in changed behavior (Luke 3:8).
Biblically, a person who repents does not continue willfully in sin.
While sorrow from sin is not equivalent to repentance, it is certainly an element of scriptural repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10).
Do not play a hypocrite. ''God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all.
If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.'' (1 John 1:5-6)
(John 3:3) Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again."
If you have repented and have genuine faith in Jesus Christ then you will receive the gift of Holy Spirit and be born-again spiritually.
When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance
until the redemption of those who are God’s possession - to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:13-14)
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (John 3:36)
''You will know them by their fruits'' (Matthew 7)
If you have been truly born-again with the Holy Spirit and He has regenerated your heart, you will desire righteousnes -
to do what is good and righteous in God's eyes, to seek God everyday in His Word and prayer, to strengthen your relationship with God.
You will no longer desire to willfully continue living in sin but will want to obey God out of your love for Him because of His amazing grace
revealed to us through the death and resurrection of His Son.
''Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.'' (2 Corinthians 5:17)
''For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.'' (Eph 2:10)
You will have a testimony - of what your life had been before and how has it changed now when you have surrendered it to Lord Jesus Christ.
As a declaration and affirmation of your faith in Jesus Christ, get baptised in water because He commanded us to do so.
In John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.''
''Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit'' (Matthew 28:19)
''Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.'' (Acts 2:41)
''And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you also - not the removal of dirt from the body,
but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God - through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,'' (1 Peter 3:21)
''We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that,
just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.'' (Romans 6:4)
''Having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God,
who raised him from the dead.'' (Colossians 2:12)
Please get right with God and get to know Jesus Christ personally today before it’s too late, because there’s not much time left!
"But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.’’ (Mark 13:32)
Get to know Christ through God's Word - Bible. At first I recommend reading Gospel of John and book of Romans. God bless you!

To maintain personal hygiene, I have a few tips that might be helpful:
- Consider using antibacterial body wash from reputable brands like Dettol to keep your skin clean and healthy.

Why can't my mind just recognize it as an important daily thing i need to do =(
Try writing a note and sticking it above your mirror in your bathroom, so eveytime you use it you'll be reminded.
If anything, caring for your teeth is the most important thing for self-hygiene because it's the only thing that if you neglect the effects will be permanent. It only takes like 5 minutes out of your day and you will thank yourself in the future if you stick to it.

So true everything in here
I’d also add that washing often doesn’t just mean showering, ppl don’t wash their hands enough. Washing hands isn’t just for getting rid of germs, because our hands pick up smells and oils from food, touching surfaces, and sweat. They can smell easily
