You pretty much covered everything that I let my team know! Thank you so much for this video, and keep em coming! I love seeing is represented in this space!
Can I add one thing to the first point about meta decks? I do agree there is something about playing and knowing the meta, but there is also playing with the deck you know and having the most reps in. For instance, I don't generally play a meta deck. I'm known really for playing ruby/amber Mufasa, I did well with it, got my mat and cards in Ursula's Return Set Champs and Shimmering Skies. I then tried to change deck to a 'meta deck' for this Set Champs and it just didn't feel the same and I didn't do well. So I think having the reps in is a huge factor. I know people will look at my deck and think it isn't great, but knowing it inside and out, rather than picking up a meta deck the day before (or even a week before) helps. Didn't mean for this to be a rant and that wasn't nothing against that point - just from someone who plays a traditionally off-meta deck! 😊
@@charliefen you are 1000% correct! It’s way better to play a deck that you are most comfortable with but if you know what the meta will be you can tech that deck to have better matchups against the field!
@ thank you! The comment turned out a lot longer than I planned and wasn't a criticism at all, just more my experience! I completely agree with the points you made, I've been to so many Set Championships now, as well as a Challenge event, and I'm still working on these (the talking one is my worst!).
Going onto the thought of projecting tilt.. sometimes ill project tilt internally.. for instance i have the prep but they are not going wide. Play a rabbit get tilted pass... They then go wide. And i prep. Ggs
honestly I wouldnt even try to bluff. Just give no reaction and if they can read you good for them if they cant you might be able to crawl out of a bad spot
To be honest I don't talk at all when I play 😂
Can confirm he doesn’t. He just stares into your soul
