I was looking at this bag a few months ago. It looks nice but it's just too expensive imo. I bought the Carhartt Trade Series 2-in-1 Duffel for 58 euros instead. It's like a black hole without the organization of the Bellroy but the materials and build quality are very solid and it packs super well with packing cubes👌
At $200, definitely would go for the Evergoods TD35 anyday - balanced balistic nylon over polyester, better organization options, and the padded dedicated laptop space if required.
It’s interesting you say you’re a backpack guy when travelling, I use a full suite 😂 I have my big suitcases, a duffel as my carry on (currently looking for a new one) and then my backpack I try for long periods, lots of camera gear and bring a lot of stuff back so I think it depends how you travel (light v heavy)
@@Nomads.Nationcan I get your opinion of which bag is better, the Aer travel weekender or the pakt one? Narrowed my duffel search down to these two and would love your thoughts :)
I think the duffle niche can be a little more palatable if it also is a *garment* duffle. To that end, we would love to see a review of Halfday's Garment duffle line (compact/standard/premium), though IIRC you're not a big suit guy
What is a Vegan Non Animal leather.? Besides Pablo Escobar & Muffin Break, the other party who measures in grams Goldfinger. The duffle is great for coach & train travel even in the back of the truck when running contrabands but that diagonal shoulder straps...just not balancing the mass when fully packed. We never carries a duffel more than 100 metres. Unless heading to the gym, we don't put accessories into the quick access. It's an Aussie Weekender, besides necessities, it will be filled up with beers.!

I've read about 5-10 bad things about their customer support, but for a brand that sells millions worth of products every year I think that's a pretty good %
Not a fan of this bag, but I am curious if you're going to continue the tomtok reviews and if you ordered the bag I recommended to you some time ago. The PGYTEK onemo and I'd also recommend their PGYTEK techsack. I've used a lot of techbags and theirs is among my favorite all round.
@@Nomads.Nation I don't work for them, but I have been interested in the backpack after using the tech sack. Struggling with the idea of dropping nearly $400 on the backpack and tend to wait on your videos to make decisions lol. Heck, i'd rock yours if I could get it sooner. :D
Duffels aren’t the best for flying, but they are great for road trips. Not convinced by this one looks-wise, I think the Peak Design duffels look better.
Wow. Barely has any features or technology - doesn't even have padding on the main handles, like a 20 euros duffel bag. Meanwhile the Peak Designed one with much better features and build is way cheaper.

Hey Aaron have you travel with a duffel by flight and what was your experience with it?
never have, don't think I will, usually when I see people traveling with duffels they look in pain lol
Duffels are THE BEST for car trips. No logical reason, but it feels right
100% agree with you

agreed, super pricey for the value imo
I am not much of a duffle bag guy, but I might see this and the alternatives mention as a nice weekend getaway bag for road trips.
for sure!

love the TD35, only issue is not everyone will get value out of how structured it is (as opposed to this duffel which is much drapey-er

Do you see Evergoods' Transit Duffel ghost in this Bellroy bag? I kind of do. And my god, I love TD35.
I do not, very very different duffels imo
Hi bro love your videos!
can't wait to see you reviewing the goruck kit bag 32L
thanks so much!

Is the review for the Bellroy Venture Travel pack coming?
Seriously. You posted about it like a month ago.
not for a while, hopefully a month or two

well said! 🍻
I am totally not a duffel person, but if I was, I'd probably get the 35L version of this.

As someone who can be quite overwhelmed with all the political craziness happening, this comment means a lot to me!!!
Would be interesting to hear a review of Black Ember's Dex duffel/travel backpack.
hopefully we can get our hands on that one soon!
where’s the Bellroy Venture Crossbody review? 😫😫😫
Seriously. Seems odd that none of the main bag UA-camrs have a review of the venture travel line.
its shot - should be live in a week or two
Most non-english speakers measure in grams and kg 😉 What drives me nuts is oz....
kg I'm cool with, but grams seems a bit extra lol
Goruck Kit Bag 2.0 next, Aaron!
on it 🫡
