nice honest review! i can imagine that this was a bit weird for you but that felt like a normal bag review, if i wouldnt know better i would think its just a random bag and not yours hahha. It is not the bag for me cause for me its to big, but cant wait for a fyro sling ;)

I'll be honest Aaron, for the longest time I didn't like the the look of the Fyro bag. But somehow, its growing on me now. 😅 Congrats man! 🔥

From the outside it looks like Thule Lithos (if I'm not mistaken for the spelling) but this backpack is different from the inside & has extra features that Thule don't have. Be ready to be amazed.

At first I didn’t like the water bottle holder not being permanently attached. Once you pointed out the replacement ability when the mesh deteriorates, I am on board.

So wonderful to see this come to fruition, Aaron. I've been following your videos for a bit over a year now, and it's really great to see a bag designed, built, sold, and funded by enthusiasts of the hobby. I know some will say that the look of the bag is a dealbreaker for them--personally I think the look is one of the reasons I like the bag. It's unique. No other bag out there looks like the T22. I'm happy to support the Kickstarter, and I look forward to using it in person!

Seeing you review your own bag was hilarious but also really helpful to get to see in depth the features of the bag. I love that you made it under seat size and expandable. It's the gussets that are making me waffle back and forth on ordering. Really cool bag, regardless. I'd love to see dimensions on the hatch.

hell, the price is the same as peak design, but without all the solutions they use that increase the price, such as metal clasps, magnets on the arms, or handles that can be hidden and allow you to attach things to the front. Nice idea, but it looks like a laptop backpack that can be bought in stores specializing in laptops.

Best bag for a traveling surfer who might have to carry wet gear?

Too expensive ! My son will probably destroy this within a semester… I’ll pay $70… doesn’t boundary supply have a light weight line! I do believe their prices are more reasonable and they have more heft… that’s a no for me… I can’t edit to receive my fyro for Christmas or New Year…I’ll go with BS in this case eventhou I’m team belroy mostly

My gosh this is so cool! I have been looking for the perfect backpack for four years now and religiously watched your videos to see if I could find it. I just ordered mine and am so excited. I don’t care about a backpack being clamshell personally so the gussets don’t bother me. If the gussets could be separated in half by zipper, Velcro, or buttons then people could have their clamshell backpack. You are so inspiring Aaron!🎉

This magnet hardware is far from secure = the major flaw of the sling actually… ((( In my experience, some accidental bumps while you're wearing your sling loaded with some valuable stuff in the crowd rush could lead to unlocking magnet hardware and the bag fall down = hapenbed at least twice with me already, could not trust it afterwards!!!! ((( To give you more details - when somebody in the crowd not intentionally bump on rhe magnet area to the direction where you unlock it intentionally - it will unlock!!! And these kicks and bumps are possible in the crowdy surroundung...

Congrats on the Fyro T22 launch! Backed it on KS and excited to see it come to life. Would be curious to see how this compares against the Evergoods CPL24, since this provides the flexibility between 22 and 26. Seems like a good option for people who wants a smaller CPL24 but enjoy the flexibility of larger size from time to time.

hey Aaron, let me compliment you on making a nearly perfect bag. I have watched the video, read the whole kickstarter page, and it seems to me like you did everything right and made what maybe will come to be the most functional and useful bag there is. That being said, I am choosing not to support it on kickstarter, i.e. buy one, because to me, it's not perfection that makes you love a bag, it's the imperfections. You will like a good, functional bag, but won't love it. I think what is missing is a bit of character: it's the rough edges, the imperfections, that give something, whether it is backpack or something else, character. And I think the Fyro bag, as perfect as it may be, lacks that. I don't mean this as criticism - it's just my point of view. My Errant Pro, for example, is not a perfect bag, but I love it anyways. Is that something you can understand?

Congratulation on the success, you are so deserve it, very dedicate and enthusiastic energy from you in Fyro. Kudo to the way you did for communication and update the progress since day one.

I pledged on kickstarter as soon as I got the calendar notification. Great review! You have me sold on the hatch. On my bags (Able Carry Thirteen, Black Ember Shadow 26) I can never get use of the front pockets. When I pack out the bag it is very difficult to access the front pockets, so they become useless. I don’t think this will be a problem with your bag. I’m looking forward to the day I get my hands on it!

Backer #99 reporting in. The amount of thought and customisation that’s gone into this bag is simply unreal! I’m happy with my aer flight pack 3 backpack but had to support this cause. I’m way too invested 😅

It has been amazing watching your ideas taking shape and coming to life, and finally making it to Kickstarter. Your attention to detail is spectacular, and this bag will be very sought after. Very brave and honest of you to review your own creation! I would love to see a review of the Fyro done by your sister, as long as this doesn't cause issues between you! With some exceptions most things (not just backpacks) are designed for men, so to have a female perspective on the bag would be interesting. I am looking forward to my Fyro when it comes, the only thing I'm not looking forward to is battling with that sternum strap attachment, I have wrestled with this design on another bag and it did not end well. Perhaps something to consider in a future version. Thanks again for keeping your community informed and up to date and wishing you and your team every success

I absolutely love how you reviewed this bag. Honestly, I can't tell you designed it given how thoroughly you reviewed it. No bias at all. I even feel you went harder at it than some others. The flap for the hatch is making me doubt the design slightly. I'm super torn. I also really don't need another bag in this size and functionality. But you really made a super nice bag. The flap for the hatch aside, the functionality this bag brings is amazing. Functionality wise there is nothing to critique. Nicely done!!! My wife will kill me if I get another bag as well. Hmm Also cool to see you got the 16" mbp mold :).

So bad to know that delivery to UAE is not available. Much frustrated
