Jasper -- I'm an amateur cyclist who's never raced a day in his life. I've watched hundreds of hours of racing and race analysis by the top names in the sport. Your series taught me more about bike racing than all of that combined. Even more amazing is that you filmed it while racing to a top 5 finish. What amazing storytelling, images and performance. Congratulations!
Great series! But I do have to say it, since no one else has... The tactics on stage 7 of having your local friend(who is not part of the event) come drag you around and set a pace, is absolutely well across the line of fair sportsmanship, and if I were a "competitor" I'd be less than thrilled with this...👍

Jasper, man .. I raced with you this HR Alpes. What an extremely hot but an insane adventure it was! As I turned out 41st in the GC I was always behind the top 25 riders and we did not meet. However, it amazed me to see you sometimes looking that fresh 1 hour after the finish .. How you make the vlogs straight after the race really and find energy to do all of that. Crazy! The content you make as a racer is second to none and different from other documentaries that focus on IV's and filming others only. It is a motivation to become better every year but also to enjoy the race we have accomplished. Keep racing and keep bringing this content into the Cycling community. cheers

I thoroughly enjoyed the series and I was rooting for you from the first minute, your struggles with sleeping, fever, altitude, etc. made the whole thing feel so real. Huge congrats to the amazing results but especially to giving 110% each day for seven days in a row which is by itself a statement, regardless of your final GC position. Thank you for bringing us all along the route. You are one of the best (if not the best) cycling UA-camr and it is a joy to watch your videos so please keep them coming. I enjoyed your older crit racing videos too, but these documentary-type multi-day events are just on another level in every regard. I simply found fascinating your adventure and spent this evening following the last stages of the Haute Route Alps on your videos, sharing your passion and your sensations throughout the days you spent there. As a "cycling fanatic" I remembered my times over some of the climbs but that was nothing compared to the speed you were able to climb with and the results you have been able to achieve. You have improved massively from what I can see and I am happy about what you have been able to achieve. We crossed our path a few times back when you were spending time in LA but unfortunately never had the chance to cycle together. Maybe one day. Till then thanks for your fantastic videos and to the motivation you bring to all the ones who spend time watching your stories.

Im an amateur cyclist and just from watching your videos I was motivated to train more and more and more just to get to my best shape to get started at racing. This is the best cycling series/documentary I've seen. It had me pinned to the screen. Stellar job Jasper on what it took to get this to us and a big congrads on your performance. For a guy who says he likes big power and smaller hills, even as a bigger guy I think you should give yourself a pat on the back and start considering yourself a good climber !
Man, 7days 18,000m and 735km! Don't know how you do it. Especially considering your health issues just a few months out. Super good performance over the whole week, and great result on the last stage! 5w/kg for any amateur is pretty impressive. Not many can sustain that for 20/30mins. I tried to get to 5w/kg but 4.8 is the best I ever got. More like 4.3 atm. Anyway congrats on a top 5! Well done!

I can say it clearly, that this is the best documentary ever done about cycling. Im an amateur cyclist and just from watching your videos I was motivated to train more and more and more just to get to my best shape to get started at racing.

Man, 7days 18,000m and 735km! Don't know how you do it. Especially considering your health issues just a few months out. Super good performance over the whole week, and great result on the last stage! 5w/kg for any amateur is pretty impressive. Not many can sustain that for 20/30mins. I tried to get to 5w/kg but 4.8 is the best I ever got. More like 4.3 atm. Anyway congrats on a top 5! Well done!
