- The Doobie Brothers - Live at The Greek Theatre Dated 1982. That Was The Last Show Before The Band's Split.
In Fact, it Was The End of an Era with McDonald.
The Band Started A 2nd Round In 1987 and Still Around Today.
I Keep Forgettin' -
Michael Recorded The Song with His Sister Maureen For His "If That's What It Takes" LP, Released In August 1982.
Could never understand why Michael McDonald hasn’t been recognised as one of the best vocalists from the 80’s.
Who's listening 2019/2020? Congrats, you have good taste and/or still alive.
When musicians had real talent, could sing, play instruments, write and produce their own music, singers are a joke now
Who’s here in 2024 , blessings and may all your dreams come true 🎉
Just hit the Eastside of the LBC
I don't know how but Michael McDonald's voice is somehow both high pitched and husky at the same time.
Here in 2024. This tune never gets old.
Blue eyed soul!!!
Grizzly Bears and male Lions all wish they had hair like MM. Impressive even amongst all Earths species. Then MM opens his mouth.
Michael has a soulful voice.
40 years ago and it still sounds absolutely current. Quality never ages.
Loved how the band supported his solo music and all performed together rather than the usual story of “head gets to big and abruptly leaves group for solo career.” This is when live music sounded good. Good ol days
Michael McDonald is one musical genius....I get goosebumps when he sings this song... is one of my favorites!!
The vocals are amazing but the fact that those instruments are having a full conversation though. This is magical.
Michael McDonald is such a singular force of nature, he improved and elevates every project he's a part of, from Christopher Cross, to Steely Dan, to the Doobie Brothers. Timeless!!
When are the Kennedy Center Honors happening for Michael McDonald? Doobie Bros. too, please. It's just time to recognize an incredible body of work over a lifetime. The same goes for the Doobie Brothers, and they are amazing musicians all. They are all still putting incredible music out. National treasures.
40 yrs later I still have good taste
Michael is one of the greatest soulful singers to ever do it!!!
The quality of sound is incredible for a live performance. It sounds like a well-produced album. The band is incredibly tight
Michael McDonald is a straight bad ass, one of the best voices ever!
