- This video will show you how to disable the embedded vga port on a Poweredge R640 to allow you to use an add-on graphics card as the primary video output device.
The same concept and terminology also applies to older Poweredge Servers.

Thanks for the video. Was able to get it working with a T1000. You might remind everyone that the PCI additional slot also needs to be enabled in bios.
Hello
This procedure for disabling default video cards also worked successfully for me. I installed a ZOTAC GeForce GT 710, 2GB DDR3, 64-bit video card on a poweredge R 610 that works flawlessly on Windows server 2019. Try it too
Thank You!
make a video on how to fit an aftermarket cooler into a Precision T5810 as stock one doesnt seem to cut it for cooling
Here is a quick question.
I use PowerEdge R610, and would like to get a basic gpu to use it as the main one instead of the crappy integrated one. Is that even possible?
Yes, it's the same process as shown in this video.
hi dear, thank you for your hard work, and your great content. could you please kindly tell me why your website is not accessible from Belgium? and how I can solve this issue without using a VPN? merry xmass
We haven't been able to comply with the GDPR. Unfortunately we are a very small operation that makes little to no money. Hopefully we'll have the funds in the future to be able to set up the proper compliance to open up to the European countries. At the moment, using a VPN is the best way to get to the site. Thank you for your understanding.
I tried this on my dell poweredge t410 using a gigabyte gv-n210d3-1gi card. slot on machine is a pcie x8 slot. disabled onboard, rebooted, no video.
Make sure you saved the changes in the bios.
What "low power" card did you stuff in there?
Nvidia GT710
