Look at that brave Daemon Slave defending the Northern Provinces all on his own, what a good guy.
Still more loyal than lu bu
It seems pretty canon.
I think you meant loyal intern 😂
Belekor "intern screaming"
Community service.
Be'lakor: I am bad, but that is good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There is noone id rather be, than me.
Best comment.
Mioa Ying (probably): You are bad guy. But this does not mean you are bad guy.
The reward should have been a Be’lakor campaign. I hope he has his own in time for Immortal Empire
They have a secret character too, so it only makes sense to have more fun unlockabke characters.
This will definitely be a mod if CA doesn’t make one
Honestly the reward shouldve been the advisor as a hero, and just give him access to all the lores of magic
Ooohh yea win a campaign with all the Chaos Faces and unlock an Undivided campaign... I might turn to the darkside for that!
I'm really hoping they give him a campaign as a DLC.
I think it makes sense for Be'lakor to be a reward for the chaos factions and the Ogre Kingdoms....N'Kari for example is probably arrogant enough to believe that having the first Daemon Prince around as his servant is a good idea, and Ogres are Ogres, I don't think they care. They just love gold, food, the Fire Mouth, and the Great Maw, simple as. Who cares if this Bellykor guy smells funny and looks a bit odd?
But it is frankly baffling to be playing as Katarin or Kostaltyn and then have a literal daemon leading one of your armies. And not JUST a daemon, the guy who imprisoned your god. That is just beyond heretical. Same thing goes for Cathay. I don't think ordertide factions should get Be'lakor, it doesn't make any sense.
Also, I agree that his skill tree is abysmal in how dull it is.
True. After they announced Boris Ursun and Be'lakor, I was sure Cathay would receive Shen-Zoo, this way, all base game faction would have an additional, unlockable Legendary Lord. The skill tree is also super lazy, because CA could've just added skill that serves any unit. Like a skill that raises weapon strength for Be'lakor's army. He could have one for melee attack, melee defence, missile damage and so on.
@@TheSeventySin7 that or just make bel'akor have a special recuit pool of demons he can nab from other demons
I said this befor, but they culd have given yiu a bigger elemental bear lord as kislev (ursun incarnet)
And a white-silver dragon for cathey
Katarin returns from the chaos expedition with Be'lakor in tow, met at the gate by Kostaltyn:
"What is THAT?"
"Err... A smoothie?"
"BLASPHEMER!!"
*Campaign lost!*
I saw a comment on a video a few days ago that said roughly:
Cathay's Imperial Dragons would likely be arrogant enough to take Be'lakor as a servant. They see themselves as above the gods, so a Daemon Prince should be far below them and easily subjugated.
I could kinda see that, personally. I don't think it's too far-fetched for Cathay to attempt to control Be'lakor.
Kislev doing that, on the other hand, is absolutely insane. That is so absurdly lore-breaking that I hate it, even as someone who isn't particularly invested in the lore.
Thanks for rating my one demon doomstack Legend!
One fun fact i'd like to share, since all Cathay wizards get mastery of elemental winds, Be'Lakor gets it as well (Even if it's not displayed).
I actually had him run around with a bunch of wizards with the stalk item so he had 200% spell potency, but of course, he's not a "one demon" doomstack at that point if the other wizards are boosting him
How did you get the bejeweled dagger? I’m 200 turns into a Zhao Ming campaign and I have crafted hundreds of items and haven’t gotten it

Wait, so the skill ‘Lord of Torment’ gives the ability ‘Blade of Shadows’, and the skill ‘Whispers in the Darkness’ gives the ability ‘Lord of Torment’? Come on, man
CA just keeps fucking shit up when it comes to skills and research in this one. The amount of skills that grant already unbreakable units unbreakable is just fucking stupid.
feeling the torment yet?
That's what happens when you deal with chaos, very lore accurate.
QA was non-existant for this launch.
That is what caos is all about
The amount of oversights by CA convinced me that they don't even play test their game or read any feedback from content creators prior to the official release.
Be'lakor would be a great starting LL to have in later runs, cos he does seem very fun and strong, but getting him post game is... mediocre
MEDIOCRE!
In old video games you usually got unlimited ammo, health cheats, Op characthers or skills after the main game ends, to give it a porpuse of challange first and fun seccond after youbfinished that challange, i actually like post game rewards like this and it is not hard to unlock him
He should have been the leader of Chaos Undivided instead of the Daemon Prince, and he as well as his faction should have been the reward for finishing the campaign, similar to Boris.
should be unlocked like boris as a lord for the legions of chaos
@@lordmaur180 Yehhh doesn't work here depending how one plays. In multiple of my campaign I've legit conquered majority of the map.... already by the time I've unlocked him. So.... there isn't much point left to "Have Fun" with.
Would of been better if they gave him as a unlocked starting lord for beating the game, and allowed the player essentially to be the endgame boss of the campaign. Where the end goal is to not lose your capital, and to eliminate all other major factions.
Cathay getting a demon as a reward and accepting it is so weird haha
same with kislev, but here we are
It is dumb but i reckon that Kostaltyn accepting Belakor as a general is even dumber :p
I suspect the reason he doesn't have a trait is because when CA inevitably give him his own faction, they'll want to give him a faction-specific trait at that point.
Of course, that doesn't have to stop them from giving him a different trait now and just changing it later, but if the faction-specific trait ends up being worse than whatever generic trait they gave him now, I'd guess that some people would complain about that, and they've decided for whatever reason that they'd rather hear complaints now about him having no trait than hear complaints in future about his trait being nerfed.
In Warhammer 40K I'll always be loyal to our sacred God-Emperor but man the Chaos factions and Skavens in Warhammer Fantasy look so fucking fun!
I hope he'll be properly implemented into Immortal Empires as a starting lord rather than a Trophy, and If he's to be a trophy then I hope we would be able to get him early.
It´s so ridiculus that Be´lakor doesn´t get a red skill line! At this point, being a legendary hero would suit him much better
And it wuld even make sense, since he wuldnt have any command rights in world, since no one trust him
Pendulum would be cheaper, if you know, he had access to making his magic cheaper, like any generic caster lord...
Or hear me out; Give him the trait "Prince of Shadows" shadow magic -25% WoM cost, -10% cooldown for shadow magic spells.
Yeah, you should think that Belakor THE SHADOW is what Gelt is for the Lore of Metal
@@fuchsmichael93 Exactly! Wtf!
He's gonna get an upgrade, I'm sure of it. Especially if he has his own faction in (im)mortal empires
8:23: N'Kari overthinking all of his life decisions haha
I feel like Belakor deserves a unique animation and not just a mix of the Exalted Bloodthirster and Daemon Prince animations.
I can see Belakor being thrown into the same faction that archeon will be in when we finally get the edgy endtimes boy back. Both Be'lakor and the Everchosen can play the same role of bringing the end times. Slightly different from the God-slayer as he seems to have his own agenda and the chaos gods are just throwing him toys because it's funny yo see what he does with them.
I mean, if WoC gets buffed, who has any reason to play as Be'lakor? Archon himself actually as a decent skill tree.
@@khosrowzare8301 would still love for Archaon to get 3headed dragon ... even if its Age of Sigmar upgrade for his trusty Horsie. That way he would be... trully insanely powerful.
5:50 is awesome how Belakor turns and slashes at the soulgrinder behind him
Thanks Legen
Even Alberic of Bordelaux, who doesnt have unique voice lines (generic bret lord lines) has a good trait. . .
OK but his trait is dogwater so idk if that counts
Be'lakor is a great Australian melodic death metal band!
Of Breath and Bone is a classic album!
Having a daemon fight for the order-factions is just.. illogical, immersion-breaking and comes off as a hasty solution
ill rather have plus 5% charge on a ice witch as win reward than him as Kislev. So fucking stupid. Hopefully mod will get better rewards lol
I did think fantasy needed an equivalent to 40k's daemonhost, but you are right, this doesn't make sense.
It's the Chaos Gods giving a middle-finger to Be'lakor and the Order factions
@@christiandauz3742 Lore wise Order factions would never accept Be'lakor or use him. I doubt even the neutral Ogre faction would take him as an LL lore wise. They would eat him. No question. And if they couldnt eat him, which is highly unlikely, they'd probably throw him into the Great Maw just to see what happens.

This video might actually be what makes me interested in this game again. After all if this nonsense, I almost burned my laptop in the backyard, so thanks!
One of the tricks I did with Pit of Shades when I had multiple shadow magic casters in an army is to time it so 1 pit of shades comes down just as another wears off. This does even more damage on a group of units if you managed to hit some you really wanted to hit. And keeps them trapped.
you do something wrong then - overcasted or base full 200% spell mastery Pit or Infernal Gateway (same damage) kill everything inside except for single entity (obviously) - I know I tested it. So if you cast another pit ... then if all is dead there ... and why keep them trapped if they dead.
Also you can't trap horsies or idk Stonehorns.
TLDR you kill infantry anyway in 1 shoot.
So thats the Chaos Demon who tried to destroy the world and later imprisoned and killed the god of Kislev during an attempt to become a god himself.
And Kislev, after defeating him, puts him in command of their armies?
Is that, Daniel?
Yep lol. I knew he was a reward and I was still pissed I got him as Kislev. I wanted to kill him not work with him. Classic CA move of doing something that makes no fucking sense at all.
@@mandu6665 They couldn't give different factions different endings. That takes actual effort.
@@bethbearmacethatguy Imagine giving the factions of order a faction wide buff for KILLING Be'lakor but then having Be'lakor as an unlockable character for chaos factions, at least that would make more sense?
I think part of the reason they made Shadow magic so powerful is because Be'lakor uses it
Lord of torment skill: you get blade of shadow ability.
Whispers in the darkness skill: you get the lord of torment ability
Amazing skill and ability naming there CA
CA: here's my new magic system
95% player base: Uh... ok.. how do we improve it in the campaign?
CA: You don't, I control it.
95% player base: That's lame

I love how N'Kari decided to take a break halfway through the battle.
My first Be'lakor campaign, I pretty much ignored Norsca and went straight to the elves. I took the sword of Khaine and just kept walking in circles around Ulthuan until they lost the battle of attrition. I ended the elves with JUST Be'lakor's army. He really is a one man doomstack. He was level 50 pretty damn early.
That blurry trash blob in the middle of the screen is really impressive...so great too..."see" I guess.
Be’Lakor seems like a really cool lord, but as you said he has no trait and he doesn’t even have a red skill line. On top of that it’s just a bad reward for completing the campaign, not just because it’s the same for every faction
Actually the reward regardless of faction is the rifts going away :D
Until some other faction decides that they want to all 4 souls too in the endgame so you are forced to spawn multiple Hero's to close them all☹️
I was expecting this to happen, but after I won a campaign as Kislev, 15 turns later, rifts spawned again. That was my "fuck it, I will mod this shit out" moment. It might be bugged.
@@vitezslavslavik6662 Well I'm currently in a playthrough as Khorne on normal difficulty as it's my first ever playthrough, I completed main story, got Be'lakor but now the Ogre Kingdoms want the souls even though I already won lol. This caused all the rifts to open up again ffs.
Be'lakor recording the most hardcore STD prevention PSA ever.
Even though I know Be'lakor is available for all factions, my brain still bugged when I saw humans being summoned to help him. ^^'
I did not notice the lord select screen at the top left corner. Neat.
The current state of Be'Lakor is SO OBVIOUSLY a placeholder for future content that I ain't even mad. Personally, I think he should've been an unlockable LL for Daemons Undivided (like Boris) and his faction mechanic would give him a unique building tree that recruits Chaos Warriors, which he'd buff with skills similar to Aranessa and Sartosan units.
Be'lakor: exists
Legend: I hate you so goddamn much.
11:30 Any time I see a blob like that: "WH-WHERES MY DOOM ROCKET?"
I have successfully channeled magic once. Ever.
Would have been cooler if defeating Bela’kor unlocked a new Demon faction with a unique role in the Realms of Chaos campaign. They’ll probably make him an separate faction in Immortal Empires.
If 10/10 means unstoppable, I think both Be'lakor and Zhao Ming deserve it, even if one is slightly better. I can't see any current AI army beating one of them.
Be’lakor”I am surrounded by fear and deadmen.”
Well looking forward to doing this in probably my second playthrough. Think ima run with Khorne my first go
Both Penumbral Pendulum and Pit of shades are some of the best sounding spells in the game. I'm talking about their actual audio effects, their names are fine I guess.
For anyone that is unaware, Penumbral Pendulum is currently bugged as before in warhammer 2, the pendulum did less damage closer to the edges of its indicator. Currently the spell does it's full damage the entire width of the spell making the damage numbers much higher than they should be.
N'Kari is my fav lord in the game. Not for a 1MD obviously but just for running around the battlefield at 130 speed slaughtering enemies.
> runs into a blob of enemies
> fights them for a bit and deboofs them
> waits until they get stuck in
> casts "Slicing Shards"
> doesn't elaborate
> leaves and runs away at full health
This is just how Be'lakor is in lore.
Definitely agree that the end game reward kinda blows. XD Belakor would of been a nice special starting Lord that was unlocked by beating game.
Where you essentially are ignoring the race for the rifts and only focused on dominating the other major factions. Though are stationed within the Forge of Souls as your Capital.
Maybe Be'lakor will be introduced in ME as part of the Chaos Invasion, idk.
it'd probably be best if they allowed him to be playable for Immortal Empires.
if they feel the need to restrict him in some way they could just make it a requirement that you first unlock him in a Realms of Chaos playthrough (that's already the condition for unlocking him in custom battles)
I meant that they could allow him to be recruited in ME if you defeat the Chaos Invasion.
That looks lore accurate. :)
TFW when each of your prolog trash kossars had higher boosted stats that one of the strongest one man doomstacks.
The AI moving around aimlessly while he's murdering the soul grinders is painful to watch. It hasn't improved much through the years.
The AI just isn't built to deal with one man armies, it's not really something you can properly code for.
What you’re looking for is in multiplayer
My theory on their coding is that since the balance of power was so (incorrectly) skewed in their favor, the AI just rushed in the single target they had thinking it would be over soon.
You can play head to head campaigns.
It is a lot more difficult if any of your generic battles could have a human deciding to manually control your opponents army. Even the very first campaign battle can wipe out a good chunk of your army.
Forget about these outmatched heroic victories from cheesing with a flying caster lord, while your army is hidden in a small forrest.
7:58
"of course when mortal empires comes around we can get Isabella's trait"
😞
you actually can, its just not easy. you have to wipe out vlad and then revive him. he comes back with vlad and isabella as legendary lords. you can then get the trait
@LegendofTotalWar I was not aware of that. I figured the only way to get it was from the vampire endgame crisis. I'll have to remember that for my next OMD playthrough.
The one thing that seemingly makes one man doomstacks more "viable" in this game is the AI. In TWW2, if you brought a one-man doomstack (or maybe a two-man doomstack, like Kholek and an Infernal Dominance Fire wizard on a manticore for bombarding), the AI would send it units out to comb the map because it expects that you do have an army, but they are just hidden somewhere. Here, the AI just sends all their units into one giant mosh-pit, putting them within convenient reach.
Not sure if you're watching comments or not Legend, but you are correct about the Winds Gamble being bugged. It was bugged in Warhammer 2 for a very long time, they only fixed it about 2/3 of the way through the game's lifespan, and it was depressing to see the bug return right out the gate in Warhammer 3. No matter whether the game says it was a good or bad gamble, your winds will remain at the same amount they started with and all you get out of it is depleted reserves.
Personally, I think he should be like Boris, but for the Chaos Undivided faction. Beat the campaign then he unlocks as a playable LL to go through the campaign where you are also apart of the race or some other mechanic. Personally just having him as a lord you get for beating the narrative is lack luster. Especially for players like myself - who don't care to continue playing a campaign once you obtain victory conditions.
Flying units alone cannot hold the ground!
The Channel Winds of Magic: It might be more common on the seeds, because I haven't got an increase in immediate Winds for +120hours now.
good thumbnail, great video
While Be'lakor isn't implemented that well, he makes up for it with having the edgiest dialogue.
Today I learned where my favorite metal band's name came from...
Be'lakor if he actually achieved godhood.
Thanks for the rating, hope you are enjoying Skyrim Legend.
Channel magic works for me.
I think adding him in for warriors of chaos/legion of chaos would be pretty cool. give him a dedicated red line and some skills to make him the THE best shadow caster, similar to how gelt is the best metal caster and you'd have a solid lord
I noticed they haven't fixed the flying units getting the losing ground penalty even when landed, good thing he was unbreakable.
They don't get it if they are in melee anyway
@@JustSome462 They do, you can literally see the notification throughout the video. Go into a custom battle and play as the daemon prince V Skarbrand, land or go into melee and his leadership will start to plummet.

"There is no point of using this, this doesn't do a thing" *uses it*
Belakor is designed like he should be a hero.
See this is why demon prince is actually an amazing post campaign 😍
Belakor: I could do this all day
One thing I'd love to see, is what you'd have to deploy in order to actually take down a one-man doomstack this powerful...
Clan Skrye weapons team Doomstack. Lots of Ratling guns to suppress him and chip away at his health with endless ammo.
Or use a Hand of the Shadow Crown assassin. Still the easiest way to defeat Chaos and stop the End Times.
Getting Be'lakor as Ogres is great, since you have no other flying units in your roster
Tzeentch did participate - he organised the 3 other demons to attack at once.
I think Be'lakor needs his own faction, he needs a red skill line that gives basic generalized bonuses (like you know +10 melee attack for army, +10% weapon strength, melee defense, missile damage, leadership, magic attacks for the army at rank 7 or something), anything to actually make getting him feel worth the trouble. But even accounting for that, it'd be better if he was the LL for Chaos Undivided. Sure the custom daemon prince is nice as an idea, I like the fact you can basically make him be what you want. But I think he needs better army bonuses, and that his glory bonuses for the faction need to be a little stronger to make up for the fact he doesn't have the greater mechanics of the monogod factions. Be'lakor is strong, but that's it, he doesn't do a lot beyond that. I hope in mortal empires they give him more to work with and his own faction. Cause right now I'm just thinking OvN did a much better job with him, which sure mods will fix him, but I think it's sad that mods would need to do something for what's supposed to be one of the most important characters in lore.
Hell even Archaon needs a buff, the man is riding a shape-shifting daemon, choked a bloodthirster to death without a weapon, and passed so many grueling trials that you'd think he was unstoppable. Now granted Archaon is a very strong character for total war, minus the fact he gets stun-locked more easily due to lower mass. But that's mostly when you have all his items, and give him Sword of Khaine, increasing his mass a bit would help, and maybe a small buff to other stats. Beyond that, Be'lakor is in need of more help then Archaon, Be'lakor just needs work. I'm just rambling at this point, just give him his own faction, he needs it, and gives us a better reward that doesn't break lore for some factions, Cathay and Kislev shouldn't be getting access to the first daemon prince, the hell is wrong with you CA.
Wait what? *Every* faction gets Be'lakor as the reward? I finished just he legions of Chaos so I thought that was them only since it fits so well thematically, maybe other demons too.
Yeah, it's dumb.
imagine giving him the sword of khaine of top of all that
Ok. I have to say. Not fighting tzentch is the most tzentch thing I have every heard of from Tzentch...
After you beat the campaign imo you should be able to have bel'akor as a legion of chaos LL.
4:97 "l feel it is either bugged or rigged" - l say that chaos if fickle.
Be'Lakor will eventually be (fully) playable in Mortal Empires.
Now that's a melee!
Please leave the pleasure palace alone!!!! It's a safe place to tortu........I mean to harbor individuals to safety. Us Slaaneshi care about stuff like that.
They really did Be'lakor dirty in this game...
When Be'lakor will be realesed as faction leader, he should be LL for WoC with ability to recruit some demon units, just like Arkhan can recruit VC units.
They really should have saved be'lakor for a LL later on. He probably will become a more fleshed out LL with his own campaign but i would've preferred just a permanent campaign buff over a lore of shadow caster with a cool model.
Be'lakor is also a Australian Melo-death band
Yeh, im really eager to see Be"lakor introduced as a LL when mortal empire is released. I cant, i refuse to think CA created a modele, created a "skill tree" make amazing voice line by an amazing actor to just give him to the player when he 99% of the time just stop playing because the campaign is over.
CA will and have to release him as a LL for a free LC
Hes so far Into game and I still see the warband threat
My first time seeing Be'lakor! He looks pretty cool, but definitely not as sexy as Kugath lol! It'd be nice to see CA get some quest rewards like some of the modding community has. The ESO mod for medi 2 I got a Lore specific general (Orgnum the Eternal) with a whole army of his personal warriors as reward for a specific construction chain, would love to see something like that implemented in this :)
If you have to go through all that effort to play Belakor, I feel he should be deliberately over powered/broke. Having to play through hundreds of turns to get him to his max potential, after the main factions you'll be fighting are dead, not worth the effort.
Agreed. He should be OP just based on his lore. He should be a terrifying one man doomstack in the final battle with loads of unparalleled summons abilities with no range limit. Like you have to multistack and/or doomstack to even have a chance at taking him out.
“When immortal empires comes around we can just get Isabella’s trait”
Well shit…..
For a moment I thought Lord of Torment in his new skill tree was regen for him and not for his units...
I have gained power from channeling... But it seems to cost wind's if you fail.
Seems to make less of a difference in 3 thou, given your magic replen is a fixed amount and don't go down as you cast.
The Demon Prince of chaos undivided should be what Be'lakor is if you built him straight Nurgle, a tanky S.O.B. with a bunch of damaging spells. Please CA just let us equip items on him in addition to a buff to what are SUPPOSED to be upgraded body parts..
Every time I get Be'lakor I just run him off somewhere, get him killed and never use him again.
Pretty sure that still costs a supply line because of the bug :(
Is it not better to do it on Belakor cuz that way Miao Ying can have a boosted army via red line stuff where as Belakor cant do that?
My ancillaries don’t seem to be working. I have the great celestial dragon banner and the banner of swiftness on Zhao, and neither seem to be applying. It’s like he’s not even wearing them. At the very least, it’s not showing on his speed stat, or his ward save. Anyone have any ideas?
Be'lakor looks like he's always out of breath. Too much smoke inhalation in the Khorne realm maybe.
4:55 it even says Arcane Conduit for some reason
