"You're going the wrong wayy. Hell is this way!" Legends inner skaven is making yet another appearance.
Hellebron's response is to quote Caesar: "Apes strong together!"
From the back, all you can see of Vlad is long white hair, pallid pointy ears, and blade-themed armor, so the Dark Elves were all just thinking "who's this jerk out of formation? Hellebron's gonna be pissed".
"Enemy captured 553". I imagine one boi walking with his 553 wounded POWs behind him.
In ww2 the was an american solider that captured an entire squad of nazi because the commander was scared by the shooting tecnique of the american and ordered at all soldier to surrender
@@alessandronoe3768 ah you mean the famous story of americans shooting grenades outta air straight back into the german ranks.... my grandpa told me it's a true story and many died to an american "hobby".
realistically, probably a good day for the planet but really sad for my ancestors.
To quote Hellsing Abridged, Vlad went for an enthusiastic walk.
Vlad upon seeing these three armies.
"When hope is gone, undo this lock, and send me forth, on a moonlit walk!"
Does that make Morathi or Hellebron the Police Girl? Isabella/Integra won't be happy!
@@NexusNoxCS Maybe Manfred is Police Girl, he just crossdresses on weekends and moonlights as a spunky british cop in Altdorf xD
Vlad 'the Dad' von Chadstein driving Morathi, Rakarth, and Hellebron to school in his Black Coach.

Legend: "don't move, that's not fair!"

hope vlad gets a future update to make him be able to take over the empire and be able to do empire stuff
It's a shame Vlad was FLC because it meant that he was not going to have a lot of new mechanics added to his faction. If he was a full fledged DLC faction then I could see him having a human/undead hybrid roster. But as things stand now, I doubt CA is going to revisit him
@@ZoMbi5lAy3r Most of the FLCs in WH2 brought unique mechanics; Alith Anar with his Skaven-like playstyle, Imrik with his unique dragons, Rakarth's beasts, etc. There's a chance that Vlad (and Isabella) will get updates
@@ZoMbi5lAy3r would have been better if he was the race leader instead of mannfred
You know Vlad is the *Daddy* of Warhammer Fantasy when even the degenerate Dark Elves run the moment they see who they're supposed to fight.
I can just imagine it:
Rakarth, Morathi and Hellebron: He's 1 guy and we have like 3 whole armies, what could possibly go wrong.
*30 minutes later*
Papa Vlad (after smacking their bare arses over his knee): I don't want to have this discussion ever again. You're all grounded.
It's kind of a shame that such a good lord as Vlad had to fall as low as using the sword of Khaine
That hellebron army is just sad
I once fought a Malekith army that was all Dark Riders. It was so sad to auto resolve and lose next to no soldiers.

One of my most memorable campains i was with Vlad, was about level 20 or so. And i was caught out by the empire with my army.
My main force against 4 Empire armies (and im not that great a player). I was fighting for an eternity, doing the absolute best i could...
But all i could see was my army slowly shrinking, even though i defeated endless hordes of the empire... it seemed like there was no end in sight...
And then we stood there... on the top of a hill, Vlad von Carstein a banshee and a wight king.
As endless swarms of forces charged into us we stood and fight...
And then i saw it, a glimmer of hope.
For neither of my 3 remaining units seemed to care about the endless legions of men.
And in the end, right after my banshee perished... i saw the cowards... flee!!
Unable to cull their numbers with just Vlad and the Wight King, i had to accept my "Phyrric" Victory.
Then i just instantly revived my entire army from the massive corpsepile that battle made and steamrolled the remaining of the empire.
Good times :)
This is why the counts are my favorite race. Vladdy and Izzy are SO DAMN FUN!
same, by far my most played campaign but i really love magic soo, yea ofc i paly vc ^^
Isn't that just Vlad according to the lore? :)
Lore accurate would be watching him get impaled, laugh it off, and then go into monolog. He's truly undying from his ring and somewhere in the ballpark of a slann in magical potential, being able to single handedly raise entire armies on his own, control them, and still not be hindered enough to distract him from his ego fueled rage. Took bad writing and a thief that stole said ring for them to even have a chance to permanently kill him.
@@Rafael_Fuchs Vlad also took a canon ball to the face and came back like nothing happened....
2:36 "This is madness!" Even the dark elf units know what they face
Vlad is the best legendary lord for me. Not only by power, but by fun of playing for.
They need to do something about him spending do much time on his back though
It's dumb they put a trait cap. Like, lets cut fun just for no reason.
Let's nerf campaign to please 5% of players
"if Vlad wouldn't spend so much time on his belly" nice nickname for Isabella
@@Louiseholm bruh Vlad killed himself Form Here hows that mysoginy
At a guess, I think that early Hellebron damage was mostly her chariot collision damage automatically hitting. Her melee attack was only 60 and even with 15% bonus for VH difficulty, that's still only 70. Add base of 35 and subtract Vlads melee defense of 100 and her chance to hit is awful, so it would be weird if she could actually dish out that much in regular attacks.
She also kept knocking him over, so he couldn't hit her back. I think that was a big part as well. Rakarth didn't seem to knock him over as much, so he was able to kill Rakarth so much faster.
hmm you seem to be missing her charge bonus in your calculations, which is 65. so on the charge her melee attack would be 59 + 65 = 124 and thats without the difficulty modifier. so even without the difficulty modifier she would be at around 60% hit rate on the charge
@@Glo0ze True. And I missed that she got in a second charge with witchbrew (+24 MA and +50% damage) as well, after punting Vlad once her first charge ran out.
Still, she seemed to do about 1000 damage through some 80-90% magic resistance. That's more than I would have expected through her regular attacks.
Vlad always was the original one man doomstack - the last man standing clutching out battles
I'm honestly waiting till someone sends him Morghur with SoK, lmao
It's pretty fun! Grabbing a tainted Elven artifact with the essence of Chaos himself and then annihilating all Elves was an enjoyable campaign.
And then he dies and a skarsnick appears as a reinforcement just to laugh at him
I'm half expecting Vlad to yell out "SANDVICH!" and that kind of Heavy stuff.
Vlad is such a legend, too bad his faction always get fucked by the AI
His settlemente should really begin with walls
Yep, trying to farm or let alone get Isabella's trait a single time is next to impossible depending on your starting location, the faction simply dies so fast. Sometimes the AI also outright refuses to recruit Isabella as long as they have one of the Blood Kiss LL in their pool.
In all of my games of WH2 so far, the Vampire Counts always do well and I always see Isabella out and about
Not enough quickly and not enough swiftly.
11:41 "that's why it doesn't pay to be big"
Yeah tell that to Ron Jeremy 😏
would have made a nice army of two with isabella
Best lord for the best faction
Vladdy the Daddy and Manny the Whiny.
I think a pile of Karybdis or Hydras would have been problematic. Keep his little infantry butt knocked over and poisoned.
Helibrones death sword and cursed blade debuff was on you.
And just to be even more badass he decided to take on the Dark elves during a sunny day at the beach xD
Now, all we need to see is Settra and then we'll have seen all the One Man Doom Stacks that matter
crown of command could have helped (as weird as that is to say) as it could stop summons from crumbling
Vlad the Chad is here
I see Vladdy the Daddy. I click.
nice one. gonna try that in my current vampire campaign. thanks legend
\qwq\ I love you, Vlad von Carstein.
Crone Hellebron with Staunch Line of Spears ! love that lore-accurate army !
This is absolutely amazing.
Other Trickster's Shard would have been great for debuffing magic resistance (instead of potion of toughness).
Isn't this a pointless one-man doomstack, though? Like, skeletons are free? Just have some skeletons?
I feel like it would be better to have half a stack of chaff just to make them blob up and not ran around
that's what legend usually does with VC, using a blob of skeletons (as skeletons are free)
He could've just summed a lot of zombies throughout the battle to draw them in
@@baudsp yeah for VC sure nothing changes there with one man doomstack but for other races i feel chaff is fine. May be not full stack but just 5 units or spearman so something
@@Prophetofcthulhu Yeah, the thing is with skeletons being free and being very useful to blob the enemy there's really no reason to take a 1 man doomstack. It's just for the memes really. I don't think there's anything wrong with having some chaff in other factions too, however in most battles the chaff will all die, and you might not want to wait to recruit them again.
@@Prophetofcthulhu in reality though, it's more for the memes for all the factions. Any of the 1 man doomstacks that weren't mages sent in, could've really used a mage on a flying mount casting spells around them.
This battle makes me glad I installed that fast vampires mod. Base speed 70 Vlad is a thing to behold.
Finally someone did it!!!!
Was waiting so long for this one 😍
I'm just glad no one made it before I had time to finish mine, (this is my save file.)
A ghorst one man army would be epic
lmao the feels when the ai tries to doomstack you and comes at you with a dreadspear doomstack. fear the dreadspears
Vlad is amazing
I had several battles where his and isabella's armies fought toghether and the only survivors were one vampire hero and vlad
One of the "One man Doomstack" I kind of expected from the very beginning, and quite oddly still has not been seen yet is Luthor Harkon.
Even with his standard game play, he act kind of a one man army, supported by artillery.
He has both ranged and melee attacks, he is an excellent duelist with crazy already built in magic resistance. He has access to magic (with his united mind) as well as some crazy personnal buffs.
He can regen, he can have a terrorgheist that can also regen (double regen!), he can defeat a bunch a bunch of LL to boost his stats even further beyond! (as well as triple regen? with sweet Isabella?)
His spell from the lore of depth have some great nuking potential, similar to the wind of death.
He inflict terror, and does not flee from battle (but might crumble without Gotrek...)
Aaaand, him too can equip the sword of Khaine...
need both vlad and isabella to take to field on their own and see how they do together, they get buffs if on the same field together.
vladdy bringing the trash out
Its like Dynasty Warriors playing as Lu Bu lmao
Vlad being like 1000 stat man from butterlord
I have found out last week that if you are somewhere in lustria and have a rebellion, nakai can come back. It didn't appear to be a set number of turns, they summoned straight at the frontline (in motathis province, while alith anar and I were constantly plundering settlements. I don't know what the rebellion chance is, but having the possibility is still better than what I've been told until now.
Vlad The Chad
I see Helebrond is trying the VC strat.
I feel like CA watches your videos. Very likely they changed the unit pathing once you lay down the spell cast recently, my spells never hit like they used to lol
Getting unbreakable on Vlad is pretty funny.
Legend could you make a video teaching the best way to use Vlad s magic ? thanks
Lol one man vampire armies when skeletons are literally free...
Theres a reason I use the "Vlad the Chad" mod. This. This is the reason
Bugs...But CA only really seem to fix them when they are in our benefit.
"It doesn't pay to be big"
This is how I always play Vladdy the Daddy!
*Hellebron's army entering the battlefield*
Vlad: buenos dias, motherfuckers
A dual Battle with Vlad and Isabella against the World would be cool.
This way isabella would ganz a new mount option as well...😅
There's an arcane item that vamps can get with another 5% phys res, so I guess 85% is max
Playing with a mod that lets you get lords to level 70. A small enemy army of a few units and a level 70 Vlad took on tier 5 fort garrison near couronne single handedly just could not kill him. None of the rest of the army made it to the walls.
Loaded the save and the next time I tried he fell off a ladder and died instantly 🤣
Could he get a banner with ward save or more physical resistance to get 90% cap? But yeah this is 10/10
if only vlad had a mount, even a small goat so he could be sortoff mobile
9:31 "And Also Rakarth will be hitting a lot harder". Proceeds to look at Vlad's health...
The Other Trickster Shard would've been an alright choice instead of the potion, considering the aura assists his magical melee attacks.
Isn't Archaon a 10/10 too ? Can you evaluate it based on the battle you did witht he exalted heroes doomstack where you just put them away because you didn't wanted to use them ?
madness of khaine on dark elf units...
the irony...
Wait a minute, if curse of the sword of khaine is a trait, does that mean if you pick it up after you're max on traits the curse doesn't apply?
This is my campaign, I maxed out of traits much earlier in the campaign, even before I picked up the SoK, when I killed Throgg and didn't get his trait. However I was then still able to later get Bloody/Gore-Drenched, which I didn't think I was going to be able to get. And then obviously I got the curse much later once I had the SoK, so I don't really know how it works.
Maybe, But there seem to be some traits which ignore this cap. IIRC i had a maxed out on traits lord get the insane trait even tho he was at the cap, but im not 100% sure. might be the same for this trait?
The chad Vlad vs the virgin Mannfred
The staff of damnation gives 5% physical resistance
Vlad the Steamroller, lmao.
With footman lord knockback and falling is a thing but for example AI steam tank can push the lord around the whole map in an endless pushing loop. Can we do something to prevent these? Strider? Something?
Wind of death go brrr
Vlady dady
"what should they have recruited more of do do a better job"
Easy: lots and lots of scurcerunner charriots he cant realy kill them with magic but is to slow to catch them
I like how his sword is green although it should be red :D
Lore accurate vlad
Imagine if someone made a one man doomstack out of Azrik the Maze Keeper if it's even possible just to troll Legend considering how much he hates him
I'm surprised there isn't an ikit claw one
Anyone else think it's kind of strange that the vampire count hero "vampire" doesn't have access to the lore of vampires 🤔
Did Vlad have campaigner for the perfect vigour? Makes a huge difference.
quack
The max cap on traits really makes me sad :(
Vlad after someone insulted Isabella:
Vlady Daddy is a hungry boi 😫
Vlad is a chad, but god dang, I hate fighting him.
Holek and Tyrion will be?
Malekith has good magic too
I do like Blood drinker on Vlad, together with the Vampire regen in melee it's giving him a huge boost in regen when fighting...until regen cap is reached. But of course his damage output is hugely better with the SoK.
How can he be so op? Idk how to make such a Monster
I believe there's a separate trait cap for LL defeat traits. I couldn't get more than around 20, despite still being able to gain other types of traits. So the trait for defeating DE multiple times will not necessarily take up a LL defeat trait slot
That actually makes a lot of sense
I did not know that, that's insightful
There is a mod called "Cpecific's Trait Manager" that can disable traits again, very useful to remove bad traits. Without it, defeating certain legendary lords is actually very 'expensive', coming at the cost of a permanently locked trait slot.
Does it really work like that? I'm not sure. It always felt like it only happened to DE legendary lords that I don't get their trait and I've not necessarily beaten many other LL's? Tends to mostly happen with Malu's trait, not sure though, could be that there's a cap as you said^^
It most likely does not work like that.
Some moders have tested it extensively, and from their experiences, there is a limit to the number of trait a lord can potentially get.
While most valuable traits (usually the ones from defeated legendary lords) get acquiered instantly, some other traits gets more time and or action to get.
As an example, (I don't remember the max number of traits available, let's say it's 30 traits max) if you find yourself locked at 29 traits, when you should have 30 (and you just defeated a LL for your 30th trait, but you did not get it) it is most likely because you have an "hidden" trait in progress. Like "Gore drenched". You lost a significant portion of your army during a battle, but not significant enough, or enough time to unlock the 1rst tier of gore drenched, yet, you still started to make progress toward the trait, starting to acquire it without having the effect yet.
But then again, maybe there are 2 separated list for normal and LL traits, because one odd thing is, when you force the game to add a trait beyond your lord's cap (cheat), the game nukes out every LL traits your lord has, but not the others...
