Just got mine and have put a few hours on it. Funnest bike I’ve ever ridden! I’ve been hesitant to switch to a 300 from my YZ250X cause every time I’ve hopped on somebody’s 300 it just hasn’t had that snappy power to it like the YZ. I rode my brother in laws 2023 TX300 and instantly knew I needed one. Can’t believe the snappy power and it just keeps PULLING! So stoked for this year! ✊🏼
You my friend, are a madman. Wicked fast riding. I'm in similar Idaho terrain, so I pucker watching your speed knowing how quickly the trail can go from chill to gnar. Great review! Love my 22, want a 24 but your brembo comments make me lean KTM.
My TX also has Braktec and felt just like yours. Bleeding didn’t seem to help. Try pulling the caliper and spreading the pads all the way. Mine felt much better after doing this a couple times.
Ya I’ve been to multiple dealers and never felt a braktec brake that was consistent with the next one. The manufacturer needs to find some quality control on it. Some of them feel better than brembos, some don’t even work.
I disagree with this statement slightly sure TBIs might have their place but so do TPIs. TPIs and TBIs are both good bikes and TPIs should stick around.
great bike reveiw but man u are a good rider, some of them corners you can up to with speed i would of panicked and locked up the brakes and target fixated. Good Job.
I’ve got a 23 TX 300 with Braktek brakes and my front brake is nothing like yours. I’ve had to turned the adjuster in a little to give it a little more modulation. It’s every bit as responsive as the Brembos on my Sherco. Maybe you need to bleed yours?
Interesting! I bled the brakes twice, next video about it. I don’t know if my master cylinder was messed up or what but I sold the bike because of it. I’m gonna find one with brembos. I’m glad that this isn’t the case for other buyers but even at the dealer the braktecs all felt mushy so I gave up on it.
Um you sold the 2023tx300 over that ? Why didn't you just buy a brembo set and fix the breaks that way? And I have a 2019 tx300 and I am happy with it and it has magura over the brembos and they feel great I don't know anything on the braktek.
@@gordonstimmel4590 because the 23 TX is a hot item right now and it didn’t cost me anything to sell it. So instead of spending $1000 on a mismatched brake, I sold the bike and will find one with brembos or an XC for around $500 loss out of my pocket. Brakes are the most important part of a bike for me, I loved maguras. Braktec are terrible
Another fun vid thanks! At least with tx you get protaper Evo bar right?! So assuming you have ridden that area most of your life, for a guy retiring out that way and looking cedar city, grand junction/montrose, which spot and why?
Thank you. The handlebar is nice. Montrose 100%! Cedar area is fine but not much riding, St. George is amazing desert. For retirement I would pick Colorado, montrose and junction are soooo good for riding. Close to Moab, Ouray, Gunnison. I love that area and I haven’t found a place better for dirt biking yet!
No, it should be fine. The new TBI motor is pretty powerful but should be good for most any rider! The TPI motors are even more tame which make them more beginner friendly. If you are worried about power, try the 250 model!
I’d refer you to a 250 motor just so there isn’t so much punch! Like a 23 KTM XC250 would be perfect. The 2 strokes are great for learning because they are easy to not stall and light/maneuverable!
I got a 23 250XC, and while I like it, I'm starting to feel like I should have went with a 300. I'm missing that grunt at low RPM that makes up for my lack of skill.
Hmm. As much as I enjoy the 300 I think I’d like the more linear 250 in the TBI but haven’t gotten the chance to ride one yet. That 250 might help you grow clutch skills having to ask for that grunt tho!
@@XploreEnduro Interesting. The 250 isn't super linear either; the transition in to the mid range is kind of abrupt, and has caught me off guard in the gnarly stuff. Hopefully, It's something that won't bother me any more after more seat time.
That long high speed wheeli was great! My 23 TX300 only has a quick break in ride on it, 0.7 hours, my Trail Tech said max speed was 64 mph. Never had it WFO. This is what the last decade of KTM, Husky, GG should have been!!!
Hey Brad, I sold the 300 because the front brake was terrible and I got offered what I paid for it. I would probably prefer the 300 TBI over the 350 but both are great bikes! I actually sold the 350 as well so now I’m waiting for a new 300 to show up! 💪🏼
@@XploreEnduro ya thats what i'm battling now. i cant decide what i like better. had a 2020 350, now a 22 TX300, but now i have an itch for another 350. but also wonder if i should just buy a 23 300
@@brad_ryan8738 I don’t think it’s a bad idea to swap back and forth between the 350 and 300! Whenever I’ve got a 4 stroke I want a 2 stroke and vice versa 🤣 so it helps me to swap every couple years!
@@XploreEnduro so you would take 300 over 350? Watching your 350vs300 video you both seemed to like the 350 better and say that the 300 had to much power to hook up? This is exactly whats kept me on the 250's. Have a 22 250sx and cant live with less snappy lol
That sixth gear wheely says a lot rite there. Awesome test. Nice ripping. Most reviewers putt it around too much
I agree! Super impressive power

Was thinking the same thing with the speed lol. Although I've never had a bike to compare with husky quality
I have a 24 tx300 and it has brembos all around and spring forks. The 24 is definitely worth it
BEST RIDE VIDEO IV EVER SEEN ,CONGRATS
Hell yea I just got mine also and it is bad ass I love it please keep the reviews coming .
Beautiful riding 🤙🏽
Congrats on the new ride
Thank you 🙌
Perfect real world review! Great riding on fantastic terrain! Way to go! Thanks!

What do you suspect thats accomplishing?
Awesome riding! This sure looks like Nevada!
Close! Utah tho
My front brake came setup just right. A little amount of play then bites. Must depend on the shop that puts it together. Great video.

You review bikes properly and the way people ride. I hate watching others putting around talking about lack of engine power lol
Seems like these TBI bikes are everything the TPI bikes were supposed to be. A step in the right direction for sure.
Definitely!! Big step, I’m super stoked on the bikes to come in the next few years out of this.

Great review brother. Keep up the trail riding:)
So the Erzberge Rodeo Edition would be route, think I'm fairly close to "ready" for the _13k by the tbi ER edition hopefully by fall 23'
They must have listened lol. Brembo brakes now the way it should. ALSO Im curious if your 24 model is just as fast?
I dig it! What premix are you using with this tbi motor?
Maxima K2!

Is this bike shorter than the ktm? I’ve read that the moto husky models are shorter than the ktms
Yes and even tho it’s a tiny difference it feels like 2 inches!
I personally prefer the husky rear end way more.
@@XploreEnduro good to know. What is your height? I’m 5’10” ish. Deciding if the husky will feel too short
