Have same bike - favourite I’ve owned . Motor is a gem so versatile . I’ve wrote this so many times now hahah but try the black throttle cam to slow down the response a little for the slower tight stuff works well in the white map yet plenty in the green map for open riding / dunes
TX fam. I found the suspension to be washy, too. I tried something weird, courtesy of Rich Larson: cranked compression down (counter-clock) a few clicks, and slowed rebound down (adding 1 click at a time to experiment, clockwise). I usually synchronize clicks but this was oddly a fix to the mid-stroke. For context: mostly desert riding & rocky single tracks. Did both front and back this way.
Thanks for the info! So far I'm loving the suspension so I'm not messing with it at all yet haha. Mostly mt single track. I love rich Larsen hea awesome!
I'm absolutely blown away! Just did my 2nd ride on it and I felt like I was one with the bike! Went faster than ever and was able to things I haven't been able in the past! This bike is extremely good!!!
So I thought you were all in on the FX350 now... ? FYI, I had a '23 FX350 which I converted to spring forks and traded it for the new '24 TX300 but I think I kinda prefer the 350.. We'll see, next spring I may jump on a '25 350 XCF if they are cutting prices again.. BTW, you should try swapping that 14 tooth front sprocket to a 13 tooth really helped on my bike in the technical stuff. I also just added a RKTek high comp head which I also strongly recommend
So did I haha! However every time I ride I'm with my buddy that has the fx350 and we always swap while we ride. So I figured I'll get the 300 that way we have the best of both worlds! I also sold my yz to my other riding buddy so I still get to ride that haha. Ultimately I couldn't pass up 3k off on the 300! I loved my 300xc and I love the new suspension on the 2024s!
I don't do super long rides because of work and I had a baby so we usually only do 25 mile loops so we can get back home. But it doesn't even use half a tank for 25 miles. Not even close. So I'd guess you can go pretty dang far.
Hahahaha! I love the yz! I just couldn't pass up the discount on the tx! And the good news is my buddy bought my yz so I'll still ne able to ride it every weekend!
@@utmx I feel you. $9k OTD right now here in CO for the husky. I just love my yz250x so much but the tx300 is so temping with the price. My yz has the HITLIS, apex head, lectron and rekluse. Just runs so dang good for the Colorado gnar. Looking forward to the comparison vid though.

Yeah man I think this is the best bike I've ever owned!!
Such a good bike! Husky knows how to design some graphics too!

Is this the husky version of the ktm xc300? and the te300 is like the 300 xcw?
You nailed it! However the husky te300 has 1 difference from the xcw. The rear suspension on the te30p is linkage while on the xcw it is pds
What kind of range are you getting?

Did fifty on some tight single track , Had 2/3rds of a tank left.
