Interesting video but I feel these figures are regional as the bars and clubs I have worked at over the past 5 years have offer more! Club wise though I have done a fair few deals where I took the door revenue and put the event on 😎🎧👍🏻

Yeah usually when you are promoter you will take the door money. You‘ve done well to get more- this is what most national big brand chain venues pay.

I’m not too familiar with Birmingham but there are lots of bars and clubs so plenty of people to network with! Best of luck!
A lot of club DJ's I knew used to not get paid for DJing, they got paid for how many people they sold tickets to.
Still happens in many venues if you work under certain promoters.
