Welp... I tried. I thought my Pumpkin-head mask from last year could use some sprucing up and a new time period, and I think I was somewhat successful on one of those accounts?

I second everyone who's saying that this is firmly in the not-creepy camp. It feels like it's exactly what it's supposed to be, having come from the coziest little glen in the Uncanny Valley. Though Rachel truly is a master of horror: showing the step-by-step process of condemning pumpkin head lady to eternal silence by slowly sealing over her mouth.
I think she turned out adorable and that skirt is lovely!
Never related to anything more in my life than "Autumn is a state of mind." and Rachel squinting at her creation asking "Are you ugly?"
Rachel she is NOT nightmare fuel she is absolutely adorable and I love her freckles and her little smile! So serene and joyful, just going about her pumpkin-lady business <3
the lumpiness is honestly pretty accurate to real pumpkins when they get really big. also side note that hat looks sooo pretty
She is simultaneously the cutest and most terrifying thing, and I really wanted to see some footage of you startling passers-by. And tbh Tim Burton continuously makes both cute and terrifying things so like... I love it?

I love her ! She’s extremely cute and only kinda uncanny! Which I think fits NOT JUST the vibe of that specific over the garden wall ep. but also Halloween in general! I think shes a success!
The first version is like a teenage pumpkin girl, worried that her lumps won’t go away when she’s older, and this one is when she’s out of that awkward growing phase and becomes a lady... and comes to terms with the lumps.

I think she’s absolutely adorable! She feels like the stern older pumpkin woman with a heart of gold who lives alone in a big old mansion after her partner died and the neighbors often have dinner with her so she doesn’t feel lonely
Suddenly I understand why all those vintage Victorian costumes are nightmare fuel. They weren't trying to make them scary, there's just no way to make them cute.
