Just FYI Dermalect skincare is having 25% off sitewide with code SPARKS (plus free shipping over $25). shop-links.co/cj35D6WEtug in case you're interested in the sleep serum I talked about in today's video. 🥰🥰
Three Things: 1. You look gorgeous in lavender! 2. I NEED that Viseart palette -you're right no one else is talking about it. 3. Dermalect is a fantastic skincare brand. I tried the Beauty Sleep serum after Penn Smith talked about it and WOW it changed my skin overnight. Since then I've been planning to try more from the brand and I think I want to test the Empower moisturizer you mentioned it has great ingredients. Also maybe the lip line smoother. You're the best!
I bought the Moira powder foundation after seeing your video using your code. I haven’t worn a powder foundation for years but this one makes my dry skin look flawless. It’s so nice to know I can always trust your recommendations.
The Ulta Healthy Hydration Milky Toner is a total dupe for the Laneige milky toner. I’m on my 3rd bottle. I use it twice a day. It’s FANTASTIC for dry, dehydrated skin!!!!
A lot of people don’t have any happy weekdays or weekends at all , I don’t get why people feel the need to always be wishing people a happy this or happy that. If you really want to wish someone a good day or brighten up their day , go visit an elderly at a nursing home or someone else who spends virtually all of their time alone . Words and well wishes are cheap , requires no effort at all. You are of course entitled to say the things you said and so am I. But I wish people would stop posting worthless well wishes to complete strangers online.
Hi Jen!! Can I just say again how much I appreciate you mentioning comments that are good for dry skin? Especially skincare. I have been through so many moisturizers over the past few years, I can open up my own store. You're the best ❤❤ PS..I'm currently obsessed with purple blushes too. Maybelline has a plum shade you should try
I also purchase the Moira powder foundation in 225N which is just a smidge too light but wow--I have never used such a pore blurring powder. It really makes my 65+ skin look flawless. And it doesn't sink into lines/wrinkles. Love it and glad I saw you first use it.
Jen, I bought the same Viseart palette the very second it dropped. As in, Viseart sent out the announcement, and I clicked purchase 5 minutes later. They shipped it out quickly too so i got to use it throughout (edit) May. After giving Viseart a second chance this year, I went from my previous stance of "Why do people rave about their formula?" to realizing it had been user error. I had grown accustomed to the much more emollient and immediately pigmented matte formulae that has become popular in recent years. I learned how to work with Viseart 's drier and more buildable matte formula and now highly appreciate them! I hope they stick around.
I can honestly say that the Moira powder foundation is the 1st powder foundation that I've ever liked. It is so smooth and I love that it doesn't make my skin look old and powdery as that is the last thing a woman of my age needs. Thanks so much for the recommendation!
Jen, I love your videos, and the way you are so honest about the products! I have lived make up since I was about 12!! Really! I have done stage make up for about 20 or more years and loved every second of it! I am 85 years old and still love putting on my face …… just very natural now, that’s your look to me, natural and why I love your videos. Thank you for being down to earth and honest!! Ps. You are so pretty and natural looking, unlike a lot of the influencers who are so made up and fake looking.
Jen, you are a genius!! I have searched high and low for a serum like Dermalect to no avail. As soon as you described it, I had that Lucy Van Pelt (Peanuts) moment--"THAT'S IT!!!" So many serums I've tried just sit there, not sinking in (at least not completely) and I feel like I've just covered face in grease. And forget the moisturizer afterward--it just sits on top of the serum! I've never heard of this brand, but I clicked on your link and immediately purchased the serum. I'll also follow your advice on using it only a couple times a week to start. 😉 Thank you sooo much!
Love your honesty. Keep it coming. I’m 53 and also have oily skin. It’s so hard to find a foundation. I really appreciate your reviews. Thank you so much.
I have cool toned skin also and find so much make up turns orange, especially on the lips. I think I have a Clinique blush pop in those deep Berry shades, it might be their black honey blush. I'll have to check. I'm going to check out that serum and see if I can get it here.
😂😂😂😂 your hilarious...u said it smell like kinda a scent of a little rose and a litte CRAYONS 😂😂😂😂👏👏 that was hilarious Jen...i just wasnt expecting it
Aw thank you! I didn't even plan to wear this shirt, it was just something casual I had on and once I did my eye makeup, I realized they went together so I left it on. :)
I have the same issue with pink blushes looking peach on my skin tone so I tend towards Berry/purple toned blushes (Nars Sin), so would love to try the Dior and L’Oréal blushes. Love the Viseart pallette 😍
I brought the ultra matte version of the Colourpop one, and it's amazing as well. It's very long lasting, feels very light and it doesn't have a dry feel on my lips.
I too have dry skin and have found that "sandwiching" my water based serums between layers of essences/toners works a treat. Applying a serum on a wet face increases the absorption, so I'm really getting the full benefit of my serums and the serums are pushing the hydrating essences/toners deeper into my skin 😉🤟. I juch prefer essences as they're loaded with beautiful ingredients, especially the South Korean. I really ought to get that elf primer - I keep forgetting 🤦♀️ Love you, 💗💜💗💜💗
moira’s also having a huge sale right now as well. i’ve been OBSESSED with the summer fridays lip balms since they came out and the two deeper tinted ones are my absolute favorites. i bought one of the kosas wet sticks and OMG, i loveeee it, and i actually went back and ordered two more shades. i’m definitely going to try the hair proud spray for my blue hair. thank you so much for your videos!!! i enjoy them soooo much!!! 💜💜💜
Hi Jen I've used a ton of K beauty over the last several years and I have severely dry, rosacea and eczema prone fully menopausal skin - dry dry dry lol. A new absolute favourite is the Jin jung sung soothing essence - it's sooo hydrating and my skin feels so much plumper. It has a high percentage of glycerine and I think that's why it's so deeply hydrating. Most Asian essences are a thinner texture, but this one is kind of gloopy and it's that thicker gel like texture that packs in the hydration. Unlike many products my hypersensitive skin is not unhappy with the formulation and it's been really working for me this Summer. I normally use a lot of layers of toner and essence and serum etc with a rich/buttery cream, but Summer I have to go lighter in the moisture department - my rich creams won't sink in. I always normally feel quite parched in Summer no matter how many fluids I consume orally, but this has made a significant difference. It's not in any way heavy/greasy and isn't moisturising from an oil standpoint, it's just incredibly hydrating in a way that's difficult to find. It's not overly expensive at around $25 for 150mls and is worth trying for those with dry skin. Best wishes.
I have the exact same problem with blushes turning orange on me. Try the Essence baked blush in Goldy Cassis. It looks purple but ends up like a cool pink on me. Your skin is amazing btw!!!
I had the same problem when burgundy blush was the thing in the 80s. I bought a pure purple blush from Fashion Fair and it was the perfect burgundy on my skin!
Hi Jen, it’s Jennie. You were right about the Malani mascara the tubing one I let it sit for a month and now it works great. Have a great day. Love, Jennie.
💖💖🤩 I have always worn purple blushes! Pinks have always pulled peachy on me, same with eyeshadows! I used to get a purple blush from Avon years ago..lol. I have some favorites! Lorac Ultraviolet and the CoverFX Sweet Mulberry are nice. That Viseart palette is gorgeous!😮 LYSM!
I know u mostly do drugstore videos but i enjoy the videos that include high end. I usually buy high end and as a result, i have a small collection of makeup. I trust your opinion and we have similar skin type as u so thats a plus for me. Thanks for the videos.
Jen, you always bring the best to our attention! That Dermalect serum sounds amazing! I absolutely love simplifying my routine. And to your point on the price, just add up what a glycolic acid toner/serum, a salicylic acid toner/serum, and a vitamin c serum would cost you individually and you're basically covering the cost of that 3-in-1 serum. (You can also factor is what you value the time you'll be saving by turning 3 steps into 1.) Definitely going to be checking out the new Colourpop Glossy Lips as well. I have and love the Hair Proud Glass Hair for the exact reasons you mentioned! I, too, have fine hair that I highlight and have trouble finding products that don't weigh down my hair. You also cannot beat the price! I will be checking out that Body Proud Serum as well! I've been looking into creating a body skincare routine so that will definitely be a consideration. I wish I could afford that Viseart palette because it is everything I have been looking for...may have to splurge...
Oooohhhhhh, Jen, I dream of Viseart!!! I'm waiting for a moment when I've had way too much to drink then I'm going to jump on the website and buy one of those $80 pallets! 😂
So fun! The palette is so cute. The moira compact looks amazing. I've been loving avene's spf compact I got for $28 from wg. Thank you for being with us !
Hey Jen, let’s be clear I saw your skin cancer video and heard all about some of the negative feedback and karma sent your way. All I can add to that conversation is that you are still one of the best make up UA-camrs and that we sincerely love you. All the other naysayers need to take a step back. Keep up the great work. I’m 100% behind you!
Many YTers resort to superlatives, but Viseart, IMO, has the best formula, no hyperbole. I love to wear French makeup because it makes me feel so ...French! Did you see that Temptalia gave the Dior blushes all Ds and Fs? (Rosy Glow got an F). Sounds like she got hard pan too.
Yes, they really do have the best formula! :) Also my Dior Rosy Glow blush got hard pan but then I heard Morgan Turner say that these new ones seemed to have a different formula and so far I haven't gotten hard pan...hopefully it stays that way!
Jen! LOVE the cool toned Viseart, right up my alley❣️ Looks great on you, and love the particular placement of your blush today, higher up and closer under your eyes… great look on you!!
I actually just finished watching your reviews. One thing about your channel , your looks and reviews are for everyone. I definitely make purchases off your suggestions. Like Summer Friday. definitely getting that.
This is one of your best videos because I want everything, lol. The Viseart palette, jelly much shadows, Summer Fridays lip balm, Moira foundation…🤪. And I’m going to try that body exfoliant too. I have KP on my thighs also. I currently use Eucerin with urea but not seeing results 😢
Hi Jen, I was happy to see you review the Dermalect products. I was hooked on Paula's Choice but even discounted its expensive and effective and then found Dermalect. i love the products and the retinal serum I am using. Amalactin is my go too for my skin,. The smell is temporary from the lactic acid but I just purchased scented oils from Amazon and put it in the bottle and it smells great. Also, Cerave` SA is great too and I will add a few drops of scented oil. I need to find a good eye serum, still on the hunt for that. Thanks again for another great video. 😊🥰
I love the cerave hydrating toner so much!!!! I have repurchased it more than any other toner I’ve used!! I have super sensitive oily skin but also struggle with dryness and this is just an amazing toner.
That purple blush looks so pretty! I would never think to try it if I hadn't seen your swatches. I can't afford the pricier one so I will try the drugstore brand! Great product reviews! 🌞
I recently saw one of Leah Janae's video about her Sephora haul and she bought a Gxve Beauty purple blush. It was so pretty on her so I bought it during the VIB sale. I was skeptical but boy is it pretty. It does have a fragrance but that doesn't bother me. I tend to wear cool toned eyeshadows and this purple blush pairs so well with these looks.
That Viseart palette is darling and pretty! I know what you mean about pink turning orange. Very interested in what the Dermelect upper lip stuff does. I wasn't impressed with the Elf putty primer in the jar- just couldn't figure out what people saw in it. Funny you should mention the Colour Pop gloss- have one in my shopping cart right now. Will get that jelly much shadow, too! I got that other "Proud" product you mentioned- the oil with Vit. C. Just used that today and will check out the hair proud product. Thanks for another great video!
Hi Jen, so glad you tried the Viseart. I love viseart and no one talks about them, I’m worried they will disappear. I think they are nicer to use than some of the Natasha and Pat. Can please do a viseart collection video?
Good idea for a video. Yes, I started using Viseart last year and didn't get on with their formula so I got frustrated at the money I spent. A year later I tried again after hearing more in depth discussion of their blending capabilities, which primers to try, etc. I am so glad to have them another chance! They are unique in the current market, and I have a high bar for "unique." Now I own many of their products.
In one of your last videos you mentioned layering your toner and I immediately had an ah ha moment. I started layering my Cosrx snail mucin. Three layers and it has been a game changer! I also could not figure out why my skin still felt so dry even after using FAB Ultra Repair Cream as my moisturizer. Within 2 days my skin felt so soft and smooth. Thank you so much for the tip!!!! ❤
Love yr videos! These r such great recommendations! I’m going to get that Cerave Toner! Ty so much! Loving all the products u recommended! I also have dry skin & color treated hair. Very long hair like yours! Going to check out what u recommended! Thank you so much! ❤❤TFS!
Have you ever tried the Jane Iredale powder foundation? If not, make sure you try it with their setting spray that makes it mold into the skin unlike any other powder I’ve ever used. If so, how would you compare it to the Moira one you mentioned.
Since I've been following you, I've been obsessed with plum blush, so those are so pretty to me. I really wanted that lottie black one but it is completely unfindable :( I hardly buy new makeup or makeup recs, but I do from you. Only a few things but I haven't been disappointed.
Wonderful review of some great products. Going to try those one and done Color Pop shadows. They look so pretty and offer many colors. Those lipsticks! I love the Kosas….. Yes, the products by Dermalect seem to be getting a lot of attention. Penn Smith went into deep explanations about this product and the ingredients. Since they are now on sale I am going to order some. Thanks for another great update on Beauty 🥰🥰🥰🥰
It cracks me up the phrase “botox in a bottle” has just taken off, where did that come from, since botox literally comes in a bottle! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Another great video Jen, I don’t know where you find the inspiration but I love it.
I agree that the Jelly Much shadows from CP are sooo pretty! But I’ve tried them several times and they always dry up SO fast. Do you have any tips for making them last longer, or rehydrating them when they get too dry?
I've had mine for several months and they haven't dried out on me. When I got them they said they had recently changed the packaging so they wouldn't dry out as quickly. So far it's been great! I make sure to keep the inner plastic lid and don't keep them open too long.
I so wish you supplied Amazon links where possible. I have to check in on Ulta with every product and I don’t like doing that. Many of these are found on Amazon! Which I use all the time. Thanks for all of your hard work.
Best review on these ever. I have watched multiple reviews on these, and they always compare them to the Charlotte Tilbury as a dupe. You reviewed them as their own product which I really appreciate. You're also gave lots of options on how to use them that I haven't seen from anyone else. Some of the reviews have been less than stellar because they were comparing to another product and I have to admit I was reluctant to purchase even though they were cheap. Now I am very excited to own most of these. Thank you so much for the fantastic review. Also, I love how your reviews are always Quick to get to the point!
Hi Jen! I was wondering if you were planning to review the new Bareminerals Gen Nude Highlighting Blushes?! I am very curious to hear your thoughts on them and if they are a similar formula to the Pink/Copper/Rose Kiss blonzers! :)
OK I've been influenced LOL, I just bought the Moira powder foundation. They are having a 35% off sale so I got some good deals! Thank you for the tips about the toner I'm going to try the layering technique
Hi Jen! I've been searching through your videos and shorts looking for the lash serum without prostaglandins you recently recommended. Can you please remind me? Thanks!
Hi Jen, you are so very right about the Moira powder. It is great. I just ordered the Colourpop glossy lips, got them in a bundle and they are having a great sale right now. I just ordered yesterday. Thanks for a great video Jen and all you do to bring us great price friendly products. Usually I wait until I've seen your video before shopping wish I had this time too. Thank you so much Jen.❤💓💯🌸🌺💐💐
I have noticed that cosmetics described as pink or rose are actually peach & terracotta. Even some mauves are more of a warm, muted brick shade. I don't like cool pinks on my complexion so it is nice to be able to buy blushes & nude lipcolors without having to worry about them being too blue/lavendar toned.
Hey Jen! I love the berry blushes, my rosacea is such that I can't win when I try to camouflage it, so...Just wondering how the Dior and new L'Oreal berry colors compare to the Essence Goldy Cassis blush. You look so good in the lavender side of the spectrum, I can't believe you don't have more of it in your collection. I've got a couple I could lend you if you like! Have a safe and happy holiday! And thanks for the video - I'm going to watch it again!
They're a little darker and more berry than the Goldie Cassis color. That one is more lavender and it also has a little bit of glow, while the Dior and Loreal are matte. :)
Do you have Clinique Pansy Pop or Pat McGrath Venusian Sunrise? If so, how does the purple blush in Fleurette Amour compare to those purple blushes? Thanks!
Hey Jen. I have been using the Dermalect products for about a year now. I love so many of them including the serum you showed. It’s really good! I always buy it in the kit with the neck cream. And always order when they have a discount code which is very frequently. Definitely recommend
For the blush : i have the Maybelline master blush pallet and it has the same plum shade and am fair as well, i dip my brush once in the blush and once in my fair setting powder or any WHITE powder and i get the most flattering purple cheeks
Thank you for finding great products. Really liked the loreal blush. Actually liked it better than Dior. Plus, want to try the other products you mentioned. Love your channel;).😊❤
Jen, thank you for reviewing the Dermalect products!!! I use their Smoothing Nail Ridge Filler and it has done wonders for my dry, brittle nails!!! If you use the "Makeover" color, swipe 2 coats and top with a shiny top coat, and you will be on trend with the "milky" nail look!!! I've been meaning to try their serums and lip treatment, but haven't seen any reviews by the amazing peeps I follow - you being one of them!!!
Oh oh, now I want that Viseart pallet. Those Loreal blushes are so pigmented, I bought the coral one and it’s pretty but be careful cause you only need a little bit.❤
Hello Jen, the palette of eyeshadows is so and so adorable 🥰😊. I need this video 😊❤. I'm very happy, where I discovery your channel on UA-cam. You are very sweetie and you have positive vibe. Have a nice day/night. Love from Greece ❤️🙂🥰. I don't know if there is a serum with hyaluronic acid from Thank you farmer in America. It's korean product and it's so amazing. I have dry skin. If you can try it.

Can we get your discount, on top of the websites 25 percent off code for the fourth?!
Can you keep us updated on the product for upper lip lines? Thanks. Your eyes look great today!
Used your link and this discount code, which actually paid for the shipping to the UK 😊💙

I have to give that Cerave toner a try!! Also that body exfoliation, because the KP struggle is real! ❤
Five-star review. Lots of great things. Thank, Jen. Blessings!
Jen! LOVE the cool toned Viseart, right up my alley❣️ Looks great on you, and love the particular placement of your blush today, higher up and closer under your eyes… great look on you!!
I want the new e.l.f. primer!
Thanks for sharing these great products! I am definitely getting the body exfoliating serum!
I actually just finished watching your reviews. One thing about your channel , your looks and reviews are for everyone. I definitely make purchases off your suggestions. Like Summer Friday. definitely getting that.
Aw thank you so much! 🥰🥰
Vise art is great! Love those colors. That L’Oréal looks good, need to try it. Need to try Moira.
Viseart is so good. I wish it got more recognition. They often have good website sales.
that visiart pallet looks really nice easy to store a well xx
I love my Elemis Ginseng hydrating toner. Really does improve my skin moisture retention.
Yay! I'm so glad it worked for you!!
Love yr videos! These r such great recommendations! I’m going to get that Cerave Toner! Ty so much! Loving all the products u recommended! I also have dry skin & color treated hair. Very long hair like yours! Going to check out what u recommended! Thank you so much! ❤❤TFS!
So happy to be seeing Dermelect! Their products are the truth!
I would love to see you use MORE Viseart palettes because we rarely ever hear about that particular brand and I have a few of my own.
Thanks Jen. I shipped using your link for the face serum🎉
I will be grabbing some of those colourpop lips!!
Have you ever tried the Jane Iredale powder foundation? If not, make sure you try it with their setting spray that makes it mold into the skin unlike any other powder I’ve ever used.
If so, how would you compare it to the Moira one you mentioned.
No I haven't tried it yet but I LOVE their blushes...one of the silkiest formulas ever. I definitely want to try their powder foundation now. :)
Thanks for all the great info.
Since I've been following you, I've been obsessed with plum blush, so those are so pretty to me. I really wanted that lottie black one but it is completely unfindable :(
I hardly buy new makeup or makeup recs, but I do from you.
Another great video Jen, I don’t know where you find the inspiration but I love it.
Haha so true! I guess maybe people think of it as a needle? But it does come in a bottle from what I've seen. 😂😂
Love that Viseart palette too and the other version! Been using them all the time! Just ordered backups.
Thanks Jen love the colour of the blushes the L’Oréal one looks so pretty must get one see you soon ❤
Thanks!
Sure! It's the Ordinary Lash & Brow serum. :) It's $14 at Sephora
@@JenPhelps Thanks!
I use that serum after Jen told us about it, I don’t use it on my lashes but on my brows and it works.
Jen have you tried the Naturiim day glow sunscreen in spf 50? It's great for dry skin
Jet another wonderful video. Thank you! I wish I could get the try the Moira Powder Foundation. Their shipping is too expensive for me.
Thank you for an interesting and informative video 😊
Hi Jen, how do you know if your cool or warm for blushes or eye colors if that applies to warm or cool colors?
Thank you in advance!!
Loving this Best New Makeup video Jen! You look amazing as usual! A true natural beauty!!
I just picked up the L'oreal blush in Rosewood. I can't wait to try it!!
Do you have Clinique Pansy Pop or Pat McGrath Venusian Sunrise? If so, how does the purple blush in Fleurette Amour compare to those purple blushes? Thanks!
Rose and crayon…yum 😝
Hey Jen. I have been using the Dermalect products for about a year now. I love so many of them including the serum you showed. It’s really good! I always buy it in the kit with the neck cream. And always order when they have a discount code which is very frequently. Definitely recommend
I'm so glad to hear that! I'm so impressed with the serum and was hoping the other products will be good too. :)
For the blush : i have the Maybelline master blush pallet and it has the same plum shade and am fair as well, i dip my brush once in the blush and once in my fair setting powder or any WHITE powder and i get the most flattering purple cheeks
Fantastic video Jen 🎉🎉
Thank you for finding great products. Really liked the loreal blush. Actually liked it better than Dior. Plus, want to try the other products you mentioned. Love your channel;).😊❤
What color of polish are you wearing? Pretty.
Best reviews and swatches! ❤
The Moira powder looks amazing. Is it only sold online? Would love to see in person to match shade. Thank you
Yes, it's only sold online right now. :)
I honestly get so excited to see that u uploaded a video!!
Aw thank you! That makes ME so excited to hear that! 🥰
Oh oh, now I want that Viseart pallet. Those Loreal blushes are so pigmented, I bought the coral one and it’s pretty but be careful cause you only need a little bit.❤
Hi Jen; amazing recommendations. I need to make a list and save the video for reference. Thanks for all your work!
