This was so fun! I couldn't tell which side was what. I love that you're always unsponsered. When others do sponsered content, you can really tell a difference in their demeanor. Her reviews just work better for me. But her skin color and undertone are pretty close to mine. The only thing is I really love Natasha Denona and she’s not a fan of how pigmented the shadows are. There is a Moira powder she recommended years ago and that is still my favorite.

When you asked us to guess which side was high end vs affordable, I stopped the video, enlarged the screen and zoomed in super close. Your skin looks flawless, the shades from complexion to eyes seem identical. The lip on your left seemed a bit more pigmented, but not sure that speaks to quality. Bottom line, I cannot tell the difference between either side. Amazing. Excited to watch the rest of the video!

I was watching a content creator review top three favorite makeup items in every category. I enjoy this person’s video’s. I was, though, VERY disappointed that there were only about three or four affordable items out of a few dozen! Favorites are favorites. I promise that I understand that, and I would strongly advocate for any one expressing their preferences. I love that I chose the affordable side as my favorite. I've been building my affordable collection for several years now. When I leave the house with makeup on, I know that no one would guess I'm not wearing any high end products!!! These are some wonderful products!!!

Hi Jen! I did guess wrong but I think the eyeshadow look a bit better on the drugstore side and for the high end side I do like the glow more. Anyway I think the difference is so minimal! great video
I also noticed that your high-end side was patchy so I thought the other side was the high-end side and I also like the drugstore side better. The milani color looks better than the fenty. Would not spend on the PT palette. Already have those colors. Final: your complexion is beautiful!

I never thought about the Gone Matte pallet being a dupe for the Patrick Ta pallet! I wanted the new Patrick Ta pallet so bad but this one is a way better deal!
You certainly get a lot more colors in the Gone Matte for half the money. Also, to me, since I'm pale, the Patrick Ta palette had a lot of darker colors. Maybe it's geared toward darker skin tones.
Great comaparison's! I love the matte Colourpop palette, the Essence blush and the Maybelline mascara. I have gone through a few tubes of the masacara and really love it. I always buy the waterproof one and as long as I work from the root and up, it only takes one coat and curls well. Thanks, Jen💚

Really enjoyed this video. I’ve been considering the Patrick palette but didn’t even know that colour pop palette existed! I am similar skin tone to you and personally would use the second shade in the palette as my transition. I don’t like going too dark and it lends to patchiness. Most palettes don’t have enough light mattes imo. Just wanted to say I really enjoy your content and something about your voice and style is just uplifting and trustworthy. Thanks!

I’ve heard less than great comments about the Haus Labs concealer the longer it’s on your skin. I feel that comparing items needs to incorporate long-term wear results, rather than what it looks/feels like right after application.

I have to agree with so many other comments. This video was fantastic! You always show us a similar alternative, which is often better. I am going to get that foundation by Heimish (probably spelled it incorrectly), and a few other products you mentioned. I am also disappointed that Sephora discontinued their eyeshadow sticks. I remembered you told us Milani’s sticks were real good for the shiny ones, and Sephora for the Matt. I took your advice and bought these! Fantastic! I will never buy the expensive ones again. I am so happy with ALL your recommendations 🩵🩵🩵. You are the best🥲🌸
On the 1st product, I think that keeping the products separate works better at least for me. Trying to combine skincare and makeup in one is pointless and doesn't work well. The reason being is that the company doesn't give 100% on the formula to the foundation and 100% to the formula of the skincare. They have to formulate both to work well together so they have to cut corners. I hope I am making myself clear and understandable lol!

The essence blush makes your cheek look more natural, the benifit mascara is darker than the maybelline but the fullness of the maybelline after the second coat looks great loved the colour of the sigma lip cream suited you more and looked fuller. Thanks for the wear test! Most of the similar videos don’t make any sense because of the lack of one. Because, I mean, you can make anything work, but the difference is how it looks after a couple of hours))) I liked both sides this time, the high-end a bit more thought in terms of freshness. Also the “drugstore” concealer showed more blue under eye spots, than the Houslabs one, tbh.

Had to come back and let you know that I bought that Maybelline Volum' Express Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara, tried it out for he first time today, wow it made my lashes look so full and long and curled them and the curl lasted all day, I did use 2 coats. I like it way better than that new benefit one. I always have problems with the curl lasting, you never disappoint me with your recommendations.❤❤❤

Agree with you. I love both Benefit and Maybelline mascaras. The only dud for me was Maybelline's Skyhigh. For whatever reason it smudged and flaked...and the remainder was almost impossible to remove at the end of the day. Considering how many they have one dud's no big deal 😂.
Hi Jen, I see no glow with the Huda powder but the right side looks smoother. I have the Patrick Ta #3 too and as cheap as I am, I got it for my birthday. I have all three of those palettes. I love Colourpop palettes and I have that palette too. I have more of their palettes than any other brand I think. You did a great job making the shadow sticks look the same on your lids. I've used Maybelline masaca for a long time. I like the drugstore makeup because it looks just as good as the high end makeup. Thanks for a wonderful video Jen. The Moira foundation is actually an older formula that's been out for a while, I believe they just added some new shades which is why it's on their "new" page. The Flower beauty side was definitely brighter at the check in. It looked flawless. Must try and buy some of that. 🙂 I loved the eye crayons too, I’ll take a look at the Milani ones. The blushers, I did prefer the Essence one, I liked the colour better and the less intensity of the glow that the Bare Minerals has. The Moira’s lip gloss I love. i can’t believe that sephora discontinued the eyeshadow sticks, and i’m soooo happy that i picked up the last ones that i saw of them while they were on sale. i loveeee the heimish glow base and now i’ve seen that they made a tinted version. i definitely plan on trying the bb cream you used in the video!!! i loveeee the milani eyeshadow sticks as well, and the only shade that i’m interested in the fenty sticks is the taupe shade you used. i’ve been hearing soooo many mixed reviews about the huda powder, so i’ll just stick to the k beauty one i already own. the sigma glosses look gorgeous but they all look soooo similar. i wish they would’ve played with the shade range a bit. you know i LOVEEEE moira, and i’m very happy with every lip formula i’ve tried from the brand. i’m usually not one for expensive eyeshadow palettes, but i reallllly want the ND i need a nude palette!!! have you tried the tower 28 concealer??? it’s reallllly amazing if you like serum concealers. thank you so much for making this video!!! 🧡🧡🧡

Thanks for reminding me I don’t need that Patrick Ta palette bc I already have the CP gone matte. Also, the bare minerals blush looks exactly like a CP super shock blush I have called Voile. So that might be another budget option.

Also the “drugstore” concealer showed more blue under eye spots, than the Houslabs one, tbh.

Had to come back and let you know that I bought that Maybelline Volum' Express Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara, tried it out for he first time today, wow it made my lashes look so full and long and curled them and the curl lasted all day, I did use 2 coats. I like it way better than that new benefit one. I always have problems with the curl lasting, you never disappoint me with your recommendations.❤❤❤

Colourpop palette blew Patrick Ta out of the water with smoothness. Love the Essence Blush. It looks amazing on the skin. I guessed drugstore was high end. Great job, Jen. Blessings!

Agree with you. I love both Benefit and Maybelline mascaras. The only dud for me was Maybelline's Skyhigh. For whatever reason it smudged and flaked...and the remainder was almost impossible to remove at the end of the day. Considering how many they have one dud's no big deal 😂.

Hi Jen, I see no glow with the Huda powder but the right side looks smoother. I have the Patrick Ta #3 too and as cheap as I am, I got it for my birthday. I have all three of those palettes. I love Colourpop palettes and I have that palette too. I have more of their palettes than any other brand I think. You did a great job making the shadow sticks look the same on your lids. I've used Maybelline masaca for a long time. I like the drugstore makeup because it looks just as good as the high end makeup. Thanks for a wonderful video Jen. The Moira foundation is actually an older formula that's been out for a while, I believe they just added some new shades which is why it's on their "new" page. Hi Jen, what a great ‘dupes’ or ‘more affordable ‘ similar makeup video. 32:53 😃 Personally I preferred the drugstore side. I totally agree with you about the concealers. The Flower beauty side was definitely brighter at the check in. It looked flawless. Must try and buy some of that. 🙂 I loved the eye crayons too, I’ll take a look at the Milani ones. The blushers, I did prefer the Essence one, I liked the colour better and the less intensity of the glow that the Bare Minerals has.
The Moira’s lip gloss I love. The beautiful mauve which you are wearing really suits you.

i can’t believe that sephora discontinued the eyeshadow sticks, and i’m soooo happy that i picked up the last ones that i saw of them while they were on sale. i loveeee the heimish glow base and now i’ve seen that they made a tinted version. i definitely plan on trying the bb cream you used in the video!!! i loveeee the milani eyeshadow sticks as well, and the only shade that i’m interested in the fenty sticks is the taupe shade you used. i’ve been hearing soooo many mixed reviews about the huda powder, so i’ll just stick to the k beauty one i already own. the sigma glosses look gorgeous but they all look soooo similar. i wish they would’ve played with the shade range a bit. you know i LOVEEEE moira, and i’m very happy with every lip formula i’ve tried from the brand. i’m usually not one for expensive eyeshadow palettes, but i reallllly want the ND i need a nude palette!!! have you tried the tower 28 concealer??? it’s reallllly amazing if you like serum concealers. thank you so much for making this video!!! 🧡🧡🧡

Thanks for reminding me I don’t need that Patrick Ta palette bc I already have the CP gone matte. Also, the bare minerals blush looks exactly like a CP super shock blush I have called Voile. So that might be another budget option.
