    Did you use the screws that came with the install kit or did you use a different kind of screw for stucco?

      I used the ones in the install kit

    So I found my drill walked all over the place and the holes ended up off the mark. Fixable with effort but annoying for first time trying to drill through stucco.

      that's the biggest challenge with drilling on stucco, takes time to learn

    Do you need a hammer drill or is a regular drill okay? And what kind of drill bit did you use for the pilot hole?

    • @ShervinShares
      @ShervinShares  6 років тому +2

      Regular drill is ok, but it may take longer depending on your stucco. I don’t remember the drill bit I used, but anything smaller than the Ring one should be good enough.

      Guess you didn't see him using a regular drill in the video.

    Hi, can I please ask, why didn't you install it on the other side of your door, where the entrance is?

    • @ShervinShares

      That was requested by apartment folks!

      The neighbors I see, has their doorbell button installed on opposite side of their door as well. I guess that's just personal preference😌

    • @ShervinShares
      @ShervinShares  4 роки тому +2

      @@K-Z1 oh ya the Ring Pro requires constant power. And the doorbell powerline was already in this spot, so I actually had no choice. You have to install it where the old doorbell was unless you rewire the walls.

      Ring pro requires wired power and that's where the previous doorbell wiring was!

    Sir if I am not mistaken, I believe you are supposed to install the bracket ?

    • @ShervinShares
      @ShervinShares  6 років тому

      Yes that is only for the classic Ring. Ring Pro does not have a bracket.

    • @asupshik
      @asupshik 5 років тому +1

      @@ShervinShares You may need to install angle bracket for Pro as well.

    • @ShervinShares
      @ShervinShares  5 років тому

      Angle bracket serve a different purpose. They’re totally optional and used if you want to angle the Pro a different direction.

    I'll have to show you where to grip the drill for more efficient drilling.

      Also teaching about safety is facing shouldn't have his eyes be so close to what he's drilling unless he's wearing a face shield.
