You just have to shake your head at all the entitled people commenting about how you didn't explain it better. Considering what they paid for your advice (after all, you don't work for Ring), I believe they got some good information. If they CAN'T figure out how to mount the bracket, but CAN figure out how to mount the camera without it, then they need more guidance than most people will.
Will the 2 Ring BELLS inside my home, will they working with the New Ring Doorbell Plus ? Had to replace the old Ring Doorbell, battery did not last more than a week !
I watched this video to see how to install the doorbell on the included bracket and you completely skipped that part because the setup at your own house didn’t require the bracket. Such a pleasant, informative video until, “You might need to use this bracket, but I didn’t, so oh well.“
@@derond1133 If you ask google that question, you can see a good, comprehensive answer that addresses all models and batteries. In the event, the site says all Ring battery doorbell cameras use the same battery, except the 'stick up' models, which use the 'stick up' batteries.
Hey! In my tests, the battery lasted a month before I needed to recharge it. And as long as you have the right drill for metal, it should be compatible.
The bell is ringing from inside but I cannot hear anything inside the room besides getting the notification on phone. Is this how it’s supposed to work?
Ring has an add-on chime that you can add to your system so you can hear visitors better. www.amazon.com/Ring-Chime/dp/B09L45VFCN?th=1&psc=1&linkCode=ll1&tag=sw-video-20&linkId=5e14b95b06b560dc2d7830764a87a394&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl
Thanks for the video. So far my installation has been completely frustrating. No template for the screws, tiny Phillips head screws that I will have to go out and buy a tiny screw driver for, and if you drop and lose a screw while trying to install, then what.
It goes to your phone. You should be able to monitor it from wherever your phone works. My daughter just got back from Scotland, and she and her husband monitored their front door from there, using just their phone.
great video thank you! some friendly feedback on production, the audio was low and I had to raise my volume quite a bit, adding a multiband compressor could help a lot, although your audio did sound really good. Matt Johnson has really great audio tutorials on this

The doorbell's sound comes from a little speaker inside the camera. But you can get a separate chime to change the sound or hear it better from inside.
For less than $10, you can get a magnetic screwdriver with a full array of hex bits. You can probably get one at our local hardware store. Then you'll always have the right one.
Skip to 2:30 if, like most people, you just want to see how to install 😶
Thanks for taking the time to post how to mount on the wall 😊
You're welcome! Hope it was helpful
Went through about seven videos and yours was the clearest, to understand thank you for that

So do I still have to charge the battery if I'm hardwired in? Will it charge itself?
Hardwired = battery will stay charged up
You will get a trickle charge that should be able to keep you going.

No shit I thought everyone was fake till I read like 99 problems but I guess we have the same one 🤘🫵
I have the ring doorbell 2 interested in the plus can I use the same battery from the 2 for the plus
Because there is a separate video for it smh. Before attacking people make sure your info is actually accurate
The fuck do you want her to do, buy a new house that requires the bracket?

Hi, how long does the battery last?
Hi! From my test, it lasted around a month on one charge
Can you just stick it? 😅 using a very strong double sided
Someone could steal it
What size drill bit did you use?
Kinda eyeball the bit …. Your just making a Guide hole so the screw goes in easily, so don’t use a drill bit bigger than the screw
What size drill bit?
Hi, thanks for posting… How long the battery last, and do you think I can put it on my metal door instead of a wall??
Hey! In my tests, the battery lasted a month before I needed to recharge it. And as long as you have the right drill for metal, it should be compatible.
Does ring have any that you don't need to drill or hardwire if so what is this model/name?Thankyou!
The peephole cam its way easier to install too
They also have a line of stick up models.
I am still confused on how to mount using the wedge.

Skipped some steps. How do I detach the face plate.
This was the least helpful installation video I’ve ever seen.
😂😂😂
This is a great explanation.
For only a 1/3rd of what you need to know.
@@audioeeze8396it's pretty decent 3/4 including.
How am i suppose to monitor my home when im not near a router

This has the option of using your inside home doorbell alert. Tou did not explain it

I was also disappointed.

Exactly my question. why people including the manufacturer does not talk about it, as if every single person on earth knows about it.

This video was useless
What a dumb video considering the hex screw driver that comes with it doesn't fit.
