I’ve had my H2SXSE since 2019, done two up touring in the Picos and Italy and covered 15000 trouble free miles. The moment it ran out of warranty I had a mild remap to suit the K&N and Akro, she’s putting out 222bhp at the back wheel, it’s ultra smooth and still returns brilliant fuel economy. Quick shifter is superb and you find that once it’s covered 6k, it’s seamless up and down. Mine is going to the grave with me as it puts a massive smile on my face every time I go out on it. I’ve ridden all sorts of bikes in the 40+ years of riding, Blades Busa’s etc, the H2 is by far the most thrilling bit of kit out there. If you’ve not tried one, you should😂👌🏽!!
When I bought my first H2 SX SE in 2019 I was concerned about the price compared to other bikes. It was my wife who said to me that if I buy something else I'll always think I bought second best. She was 100% right. I did well over 30k miles on my first bike and have now bought a 2024 H2 SX SE. They really are the best in class. A bike that can get to the Alps form the UK in a day, racing the hyperbikes on the autobahn, then play with the sports bikes on the passes, all while sporting as much luggage as an adventure bike, and getting an average of almost 50mpg! They really are the best in class and worth every penny. The 1000SX is a great bike, and very good value, but it will always be second best.
I went for a 2021 plate 2019 model so no radar not adaptive suspension not Brembo's. But I have a key LOL I dont bother with the app just use my phone as a sat nav if needed far easier. on the plus side you can remove that massive rear tail and stick a nice R&G tail tidy 😁 and the front looks better too. I changed the exhaust can straight away to a Akrapovic on looks a lot better and sounds a little better too. one thing I noticed in your video that most bikers would thing is the norm riding in 2nd and 3rd at 30mph this bike can be in 6th at that speed easy better 5th but ok in 6th still pulls not so aggressive though. that 2nd gear pull @ 40 - 50 is arm pulling LOL gives me a smile every time the quick shifter takes a little time to find that sweet spot for changing down you can not have any throttle it must be closed I got from 6th to 2nd in 50 yards as I come to and roundabout, shut off tap tap tap tap . it does make a nice engine sound as it does it too LOL never use it for 2nd to 1st though and if your pulling off slow its best to clutch it up 1st to 2nd too. as I've been riding for a lot of years not using the clutch is my hardest thing LOL . Also as Im a short ass the riding pos feels more upright and the feet are good too for a 5' 7" still flat foot it though which is ace coming from a ZX12R to slow down
All these h2's get a notchy clutch lever action in a relativity short time of use which is dew to a black diamond carbon coating wearimg off the clutch pushrod from slave cylinder to basket presure plate ! Ive had it on my ninja h2 and now getting it on my h2sx, cure is to replace it but it will recure at around 3k onwards, i rub it down with wet & dry and polish fin, the coating is for heat dispersion but if it bends replace anyway?
Had a test ride on one blisteringly fast and my wrists hurt afterwards as we didn't really stretch it's legs properly apart from some dual carriageway it felt out of place in twisty country lanes ((part of the test route) , it's also heavy like the H2 naked if I had the money I'd get the sport bike variant not the tourer even though 200bhp is totally pointless on today's roads. And the servicing costs sounded pretty steep as well especially the 15,000ml big service it's out of my budget I'll stick with my z900
My criticism of this bike is the angle of handle grips I have had so many bikes and got this to replace zzr1400 ps and I get a twisting rist ache only on this h2
well.. I had Z1000SX 2017, now I have H2 SX SE 2023 (I wanted a green one) and the thing with better mileage is simply not true.. H2 SX definitely hasn't better fuel consumption than Z100SX.. yes, it is theoretically possible to ride for about 5,6l/100km, but you simply cannot do it long term.. :-D while Z1000SX took 6,5l/100km, H2 SX SE takes 7,0l/100km..
i like it matt,i like it alot.you can always rely on kawasaki to produce something abit different and the supercharger is it!if i had 25k to spend,im probably still going to wander off to ducati and the multistradas though!nice video though, keep up the good work!
They've almost done a great job by providing full maps, just do android auto or apple car play, stop trying to be too clever and force people to use your own app that then sucks and puts people off. Oh well, at least the bikes decent :)
When a brand new ninja 1000 is 9 and a half grand I can't see the value in this even at 19 grand 10 grand for a few extra toys and a bit more speed you can't even use knowdays no wonder there discounted 😳
More H2 SX’s for me then 🤣. But I do understand where you’re coming from. The price does make it difficult to fully justify when it comes time to signing on the dotted line. 🤙
It's about the feeling a bike gives you. I owned both, currently a 2020 h2 sx se, the 1000 sx feels downright boring compared to the h2. It's all about smiles/km 👍
There are other bikes "like" the Ninja 1000SX. There is nothing like the H2SXSE. It is the most "everyday usable" hyper-bike in the world with no other bike offering the range of ability from performance to (relative) economy to luggage/pillion capacity to rider aids and "gizmos" . That all costs money. My 2019 H2SXSE was so good that I replaced it with a 2024 H2SXSE!
@@blackk1UK Congratulations! But... are the additional bells & whistles worth the large investment? I personally don't really need the radar and the blind spot warning and since it's all about the engine; that didn't change as far as I'm aware (?)

I can't say I've noticed any issues with clutch lever action on either my 35k miles 2019 H2SXSE or my 5k miles 2024 H2SXSE.
When ever your connecting your phone to bike your giving away your speed?
Who are we giving our speed to?

Agreed. The Spin app is an attempt to solve a problem that has already been solved before by applying car play and android auto!
It’s kawa(S)aki

I’ll say it how I please thanks.
